"Oh, that husband of mine. That bureau just won't get its talons out of him, even though he is retired." It's darkly funny in a sense because that's exactly what Ross did to John, not getting his talons off him, even though he is retired. And like John, Ross disappeared from the public eye to avoid his violent past dragging him back, but got dragged back regardless.
Milton would've let John walk once Dutch was gone, Milton would've lived a long, quiet retirement. Ross had a different philosophy, and it got him killed in the end.

She’s innocent, most women back then married for material gain rather than for love, John & Abigail were an exception since they’re not necessarily “part of society” same for Arthur/Mary, Sadie/Jake.
The biggest irony of Edgar Ross is that he thought that his "Everybody has to pay for what they have done" speeches didn't apply to him. He did what John did on 1907, which is to disappear from the public eye to avoid his violent past dragging him back. (Even though he got dragged back). Like John, he also left a big trail behind him for someone of his past to find, corner and kill him. For all of his speeches about civilization, Ross ends his days on a shack in the middle of nowhere, far away from civilization and dressed like the cowboys he hated, giving us to understand that he too got resentful of civilization.

What did he said when throwing the molotov?
Why would you kill Ross's wife and brother? What do they have to do with anything?
Gee I don't know, why would Jack kill the family of the man who destroyed his life and murdered his father and uncle? You can say what you want about Jack, but he was never trying to get redemption, just vengeance. How far he takes that vengeance is up to the player
@@patricbateman7457 Exactly. So why would the player make him a murdering psychopath when you could just get revenge on the guy you came for? What does his wife have to do with anything? Or his brother who was just out hunting with him?
revenge.
@@Hikazaki-vx1jdhe still s psycho for waiting all these years to kill one man
they should start the the Next Game name it Red Dead Adventures after RDR3 where he starts with this but just like he does here burns Edgar's House & kill his brother N wife before killing him then see what he does Next
I really doubt the next game will follow Jack considering red dead 1 takes place at the very tail end of the cowboy era. BUUUUUT if it did follow Jack I think it’d be super cool if the intro was the camera panning through a Great War trench, weaving through explosions and men running through the mud, then pulling in on Jack getting ready to rush the enemy trench. And he climbs the ladder and rushes as the cutscene transitions into gameplay
@LawnXMowerXGaming well that's why I say after RDR3 Mac & Davey will be the Latest Multi Character in that Installment
I say a follow up to RDR3(which should be in 2026) Hopefully they follow the trend. Mac & Davey are crazy but still has a Heart for Arthur it'll all Show how & why Dutch changed
Red Dead Adventures is cheesy af title for a mature series
@Suntanfinn yea your right that's more of a Kids title kinda like WWE Wrestling childish
I would like RDR 3 to be in the early mafia era but still maintain of what made red dead redemption great and its gunslinging mechanics.
Does anyone know what mission this is? I thought after John jack doesn’t have any actual dialog except for the stranger missions John didn’t complete???
Also why is he looking for Ross and does he find him ????
After John dies. Go to Blackwater near station there's a side mission "remember my family "
@@AshwinY thanks bro
Never have loose ends.
Ross Killed me on the first try. I guess Jack was Right. Ross was just Fine.
What did he say? Couldn't hear him over the screaming woman
"Revenge is a fool's game"
Jack basically spat on Arthur's face by killing ross same with John killing Micah which led to ross discovering him
@@what_4836scry more
@@what_4836sany respectable man would go and take his revenge
@@axesus6966 arthur was against revenge and if john didn't take revenge he wouldn't have been found by ross and died
Wait. Jack can't swim either?!
Am I the only one that left her alone?
Lady, does that *LOOK* like someone from the government?
Well jack clothes look clean unlike john that look like a dirty cowboy the only thing that make jack stand out is his long hair.
if you let mrs ross live consider yourself an opp
Sweet Jesus that was brutal
Brutal? That's kindergarten level compared to what I did.
What you did? 😅
Yeah all 3 woulda got smoked
But why would you want to kill Mrs. Ross or the brother? It's not their fault that Edgar's a dick.
Lol never knew you could find his wife. Unless i forgot…either way tf
This is not what Arthur and John died for lol
And then he ran into the water😂
JOHN 3:16
FOR GOD SO LOVE THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE
1:43
Lol he just fell into the water and died
Why tho? That’s all I gotta say
For me, I didn't really kill her. She knew that her husband was a sensitive man and a idiot. But killing her? This is just unnecessary. Why even kill her if she isn't dragged by the situation that Ross killed John?
Because Ross robbed him of his parents. Not justification, but definitely a reason in the mind of an emotionally damaged outlaw.
To all the people saying jack would kill ross's brother and wife that makes no sense if you play as jack during the strangers and freaks missions he is a nice and honorable guy makes no sense for him to kill 2 innocentz
Nice.
Jack says these sorts of lines every time he loots a woman
Damn
Some of you people are insane lol 😂
