right now ... 2 years after this video . TC voicelive 2 is the ultimate one to get for live perfomance etc ... slightly more exspensive ... but amazing ! even the harmony G is an amazing product for both price and ease of use .
Excellent demo on this fine product. I'm sold. As soon as I get the funds, this thing is first on my list. Again, you did a great job demoing this. Peace.
this almost new model does most of the work for you, i had the tc helicon voicelive and it sucked putting in the key signitures, i just wanna plug and play and sing. this is good.
You should ask for a check from digitech. After seeing your video I decided to try one. It's pretty impressive, I can also sound pretty crappy. But with the footswitch a couple of practices and some memory you know when and when not to use it. It's easier for me since I'm not the one playing the guitar in the band I'm using it in. Overall I'm pretty impressed with it. But again a very well made video.
if you use without guitar you can still use the reverb, etc.. but for harmon,y the pedal takes what you are playing on hte guitar to create thevocal harmonies. check out the 2 part review on YT.
if i can used this with my keyboard and also guitar it could be a piece of heaven for live, i cannot having good chorist i must record many many tracks when i do harmony with my voice.
no it does NOT have a pitch processor in it. It has a guitar tuner in it. That means that your guitar has to be tuned to the unit so that the "math" is set for any vocal harmonies you may use. If your guitar is tuned then the harmonies come out PERFECTLY.
Have u got a spare speaker behind you? hahaha !! Sounds great man ...its the BEATLES!!!! Love it I just purchased a Boss VE20 ...gotta say ....Awesome and cheap and even has a Loop station thrown in!
actually it will work with an instrument plugged in but you can only use very simple harmonies like 3rds, 4ths, octaves, etc. If you have a song that needs to different harmonies you need to know how to switch each setting by your foot.
Which would be better for live presentations? Digitech Vocalist Live 2 or TC helicon voice Harmony G? Which of them does the sonority get to be approximate of the reality of a human voice or backing vocals? I am in doubt in which of those to acquire... thank you.
Which the difference between the vocalist live 2 and the vocalist live 4??? Does the vocalist live 4 reproduce more backing vocals that the live 2??? do both alter the emblem of the connected guitars??? do they work without connecting instrument some?? thank you.
You could use it without plugging the guitar but it would defeat the purpose as your harmony part would be parallel all the time. Yes you can take the guitar output and take it to any effect processor. Don't forget to watch our other cheezy videos Thank you
my email said that portland music replied to my comment but i don't see it here...i asked if this could be used as a guitar harmonizer for a lead guitarist with a rhythm guitar accompaniment.

Im looking for just one Additional Voice that harmonizes with me Live. Does this thing do it or do you always get 3 or 4 part harmonies? Someone please Help
Although it sounds a whole lot better than the harmonizers i heard while in Branson during '94-2001, it doesn't begin to compete with the TC HELICON VoiceLive! Which is def more natural, while the Digitech sounds "forced". I usually like most Digitech products though.
is it possible to have 2 guitarists in a band and use the vocal harmonizer as a guitar harmonizer for the lead player while the other plays the chords?
You still have to program the key you will be in with the VE20. Sorry but the VL2 and VL4 and the soon to be released VL3G (which I just pre-ordered) still beat anything in it's price range.
Can this be used to plug mp3 to play songs and cancel the lead vocal from the song enabling practice? If not can you suggest an easy to use processor that has that feature?
Hi, I am trying to get a more powerful throaty sound for my vocals, so would this be any good for a rock/heavy rock singer? If not could you suggest a pedal/processor, it would be for studio use. Also is it a straight mic in lead out to amp or digital recorder? many thanks
Hi! I have a doubt!.. Can i use that processor without plugging the guitar on it? I mean, to be used it as Vocal effects only.. one more question.. Can i connect a guitar effects processor, a RP7 for example, as a whole with Vocalist 2? thanks..!
Is it possible to use this pedal with a trumpet as the sound to be harmonized. Does it have to have an additional input to be played with this? I guess you could run a feed from the keyboards to set the harmony?
Hi, I'm planning to get one of these, I want to ask if I need to buy anything else, I have a mic and of course guitar(acoustic electric). What do you plug to the L and R vocal processing harmony that you showed on this video? I really have no idea at all. Thank you so much for your time.
If you play with other musicians, it would be more enjoyable to sing the bvocals too but sometimes it's hard to understand the 2nd or 3rd . . . voices in records. So , if it's possible to listen only to the bvocals, this machine can even teach you how to harmonize

Wow. Sounds fantastic. Didn't expect it to be this good. Thanks a ton for the demo mate. Cheers!
This makes your practice sessions much more fun!
the Song is " you wont see me" by the Beatles off "Rubber Soul" circa 1965, and yes
Amazing machine!! I will be able to get my grandma on the mic and sing along with me with one of them.
nice video - short, informative and straight to the point. good job!
i've recently purchased the live 2 and it is awsome love it. Your own harmony buddy in a gig bag.
I use one for my solo shows and my duo shows and it is perfect for that application.
Thanks for awesome demo. I will get vocal live 2 or 4. I'm not sure yet :)
That is so awesome!!! i want that now!
i love this , gotta love south jersey
I love Matt Iddings version of atlantic city!! :D I wish I could find a full cover of it by Matt!
this is cool but i heard the harmony g too and its also good. now im confused i do not know now which 1 to choose!!
Great Demo!
Your Bruce is very good. I would love to see a demo of the Live 4. I'm sure you would do it justice.
Yes u need it absolutely!
Great demonstration. Thanks. Let me as you something, Can I plug in more than one mic in it???
i just purchase 1 of ve-20.. sounds good to me... i will post my testing after i learn how to use it.....
I saw a guy using one of these at a show last night. I was damn impressed.
Old rock and rollers never die. Is this nice Brothers From the Ritz, Dallas? Wow found this by accident just looking for old vocalizers.
gotta have one.
I agree, you should be getting referral bonuses from
Digitech!
this almost new model does most of the work for you, i had the tc helicon voicelive and it sucked putting in the key signitures, i just wanna plug and play and sing. this is good.
fantastic i want one!!!!!!!!
thanx for answer. And thanx for nice video.
You would have to connect it to a recording device and yes, it sounds awsome.
You should ask for a check from digitech.

hi, I listen your demo, you sing great!!
yes , you can plug a mic into the vocalist II and have you guitar player play thru it without affecting his tone amd guide the harmony.
if you use without guitar you can still use the reverb, etc.. but for harmon,y the pedal takes what you are playing on hte guitar to create thevocal harmonies. check out the 2 part review on YT.
Cool, great video, thank you.

your acoustic amp will do just fine
Thank you
awesome device !! wish i could have one..make it 2.. one for me and one for my father.. hehe
Have u got a spare speaker behind you? hahaha !!
Sounds great man ...its the BEATLES!!!! Love it
I just purchased a Boss VE20 ...gotta say ....Awesome and cheap and even has a Loop station thrown in!
Good. Thanks for Vídeo.
How to reset this Multieffects... Thank you for information about that!.. 🙏☝☝
actually it will work with an instrument plugged in but you can only use very simple harmonies like 3rds, 4ths, octaves, etc. If you have a song that needs to different harmonies you need to know how to switch each setting by your foot.
you can put a guitar FX after the direct out of the vocalist
Yes,but how vocalist determine wich harmony is i singing?
If i do not play guitar and chords, and that input is for insert from mixer i think...
i have this one ab=nd this is REALLLLYYYYY cool!
thanks for the compliments Big Jerk
Great post! $500.00 really does sound great, but I guess I'll wait for something less expensive to come out.
Fab demo
Cheers
K
the vocalist 2 is the right one for you. The vocalist 4 will play 4 part harmonies.
...this room happens to be our studio monitor showcase in our Music Store and you're not even seeing half of it
I thought the vocal 4 was the way to go, but this sounds great.
koji si ti kralj...
i like this better than the helicon one or this guy really knows how to use it, cuz the helicon demo i cant listen to the diff if any!
Ola - Existe algum video que explique o funcionamento do Vocalist em Portugues - Brazil.
Grato.

I would work just fine with the line output of a keyboard
cool!!!
OMG bday present right here HOLY MAMA JAMMA!!!!
I heard the next one will come with an built-in expresso machine
The song is "Atlantic City" by Bruce Springsteen.
Results will vary with a bass if you are playing single notes as the unit needs to 'hear' a chord to establish the tonality.
You could use it without plugging the guitar but it would defeat the purpose as your harmony part would be parallel all the time.
Yes you can take the guitar output and take it to any effect processor.

Nice. You remind me of Warren.
Just found mine again.. when do you use mono
nice taylor.... get it from my house??

yes you can

it does 7 bridges road flowless
Was listening through Event Opals, not headphones.

yes
if i plug a key board into the guitar in will i still get the correct harmony?
hello, maybe the out of the voice it's also balanced?tank's a lot

what about digitech vocal 300? Can we do same stuff with v300?
Does this processor have pitch correction?
The 3rd below at the end sounded exactly like Bruce Springsteen harmonizing.
Is it possible to use this pedal with a trumpet as the sound to be harmonized. Does it have to have an additional input to be played with this?
I guess you could run a feed from the keyboards to set the harmony?
"I SEE YOU!"
Can somebody help me, to use my vocalist2. I don't know how to install this thing. I have an amp and a mic and a guitar.......
Vocalist 4 is for 4 parts harmony
if i use this, do i have to play an instrument along with it for the pedal to work? im really thinking about buying it.
Boss Ve-20 vs Tc Helicon Voice Live II....??? besides the price...
what's that guitar? it looks great!
could u possibly have any more speakers?
Hi, I'm planning to get one of these, I want to ask if I need to buy anything else, I have a mic and of course guitar(acoustic electric). What do you plug to the L and R vocal processing harmony that you showed on this video? I really have no idea at all. Thank you so much for your time.
Does this have to be used with a guitar will it work with a piano key board????
yep
the manual says it works for drop -D not sure about the rest
If you have those you have a phase button. push it.
If you play with other musicians, it would be more enjoyable
