Phil - When I have a 5/7 to bluff, I'm a genius. The best player ever.
Phil - When the opponent has a 5/7 and does the same thing. They're idiot's, bad players, a disgrace to the game, etc.
Yup. He's a crybaby and a hypocrite
@@itsbiju we’re all hypocrites
They don’t even know how to spell poker
@stoner : perfectly summed up 😂
Welllllll...I don't know poker but for some reason this was suggested on my feed.
What on earth was he thinking? I'm completely serious, explain to me.
He curses himself out while insulting the other player. Lmao
Insulting the other player is what Phil does best. Forget the bracelets, he's just a ....
Yes, I often get the impression that the other player is too polite and too respectful with such an #$&@
@@djudjux3936 it isnt personal. Phil isn't a malicious guy hes just incredibly competitive. If you're playing him, you like to see him on tilt.
@@kingkinkladze7352 Don't forget also revealing his future strategy out loud to his opponent. Brilliant!
It’s rare to hear PH yell at himself, very entertaining
“Buddy, you moved in with 4 Queens, so please don’t discuss poker with me.” 😂😂😂
Hellmuth certainly misread this situation, then blamed his opponent. If only Phil had an emotional level greater than a 12 year old, he might not have done such tremendous damage to the image of poker players. He’s been a disgrace.
He beat Nick btw lmao
@Steven Vierra he definitely cares what people think
😂😂😂😂
@@MrJamberee lol aw the snowflake is offended again and has to make up stuff to feel better about being such a loser. stfu
Obligatory "Honey, he called me with quads! Idiot probably can't even spell poker!"
He never showed his hand, so Phil knew nothing about the Quads. He pissed he tried to bluff and bully a guy when (in his mind) all he has to do is be patient and not make that kind of mistake. Against Daniel, other pros, you may need to make moves. I think he was right, this guy was an awful player, all he needed to do was be patient and he would win. The self-assessment was OUT LOUD, but it was also CORRECT.
Bahahaha, Thanks for the laugh 👌
@@MrRondonmon you're right. phil ended up winning. this was nick's high point in chips and went down from here.
@@troycambo It doesn’t matter. There is one asshole in this video, and his name is Phil Hellmuth.
I was waiting for this comment
The sip of coffee on the turn from nick was what did it for me. Entertaining hand
I was about to say the same. The way he sat back and sipped his coffee and then calmly called the 3-bet is strength all day.
Hahaha something I learned from watching Chess - people only drink from their beverage when they're very comfortable.
Best tell in poker. If someone takes a drink while in hand , they have it !!!
How come that is not considered a slow roll?
@@eldio2124 you have a point but from my pov since nick is not as experienced he was making sure he made the right play. You can have one hundred hands before you get action like this. to your point if another pro like phil acted like this then yes slow roll.
Whenever I'm down in the dumps, there's always a fun filled Hellmuth clip to cheer me up again
- he called me with QQ, honey!
- that was an aggressive call.
- pls, don't discuss poker with me!
🤣🤣🤣
‘You showed a bluff with J4 what do you think the guys gonna do, not call’
Buddy, you moved in with King ten. Please don't discuss poker with me.
How do these players even last this long?
Love how Phil picked almost the worst hand possible to run a bluff with.
That's what he usually does.
It's because he couldn't believe anything that checked back the flop made sense to bet the turn with.
Made it look bluffy like backdoor spades, so Phil thought it was a good time to rebluff.
He doesn't go on blockers, he goes on his livereads. Usually works unless you're against someone even smarter.
@@raphaelhenry9632 u 2 idiots are delusional lol he wins most of the time and is the greatest tournament player in history lol he ends up winning this too by the way.
If wright didn’t have quads it would look brilliant wouldn’t it?

I can hear David Attenborough in the background describing the psychological episode of a wild Hellmuth who's gotten lost in the poker jungle.
The one who won this matchup?
Tony G somewhere: "What are you showing me? How to bluff heads up? You should retire Phil, you're a disgrace to the game."
I honestly have no idea how this man is still a professional
nothing about his play here would indicate he isn't a professional?
He brings entertainment value to the game. Every one enjoys his blow up videos lol
@@SaintSoldier84 I can’t argue with that 😅
@@SaintSoldier84 so true. Whenever I am down, I just search hellmuth on UA-cam and 5 minutes later, I am happy again

This is blowing my mind that Nick Wright plays poker. I’ve never seen him in one video. It’s like I’ve just discovered he had an evil twin.
Nick showed his amateur stripes in this match - he ran over Phil a few times early on, and couldn't shift gears
He used to be big into online
Yeah I had no idea myself.. agreed
He played a lot of cash games at Harrahs casino in KC when he lived here. Glad to see he finally found someone he can beat in a hand here and there.
If you call this match playing poker, he got savagely wrecked, this hand wasnt even close to enough
I've never seen anyone hate playing poker more than Phil Hellmuth
Wright checking his whole cards at 1:26 to potentially represent a flush draw was a genius move
i am not a pro
was in a local tourny i raise 3x BB in MP holding AA
button jams allin
big flat calls i try to reraise but the allin was a under raise so i could only call
i had all my chips ready to slam it down after the flop
flop has 3rd ACE i place my chips back in front of me and in a piece of trash say "that ace has saved you" he then jams the turn i snap show my AAA nearly triple up he said my talk made him bluff and i told him "jesus wept i all but told you what i had" he said i was hoping you had Ks and i could scare you off the pot" yea , like no
“Honey, he put all his money in with 7-5 suited! Wait never mind, that was me.”
"He bets every flop!" Phil says right after dude checks top set. 🤣
Funny how even when Phil is out played, it's the other guys fault.
right
I only watched the first free hour, but Nick did pretty well under the circumstances. Obviously he's not in the league of a pro player but he made it an entertaining heads up game, had some good strategies to try to annoy Hellmuth and I think to some degree it worked.
“He didn’t call me with 4 queens, honey!” 😂😂😂
hahhaha phil having sour patch kids next to him makes me laugh
I just clicked on the video like “this looks like nick wright” AND THEN IT IS HIM, since when does he play poker ahahaha
He lost so probably won’t play much more
Phil’s reading instinct is just incredible, just like he says all the time lol
He's great at reading the hand after it's over!
I love this guy in anguish because 99% he does it to himself, youd think all those televised bad beats would humble this kid down but he is determined to go out as the worst televised poker player in the world and I'm all for it Philly boy.
Whenever I'm in a bad mood I love to watch videos of Hellmuth crying like a baby
Watching Phil melt down never gets old
There really is only one thing that is on the same level in my opinion, and that is Vanessa Selbts losing 😂
Love it when Phil gets angry when another player doesn't do what he wants them to do. Poor baby.

Only against 75
Can't say the same about Hellmuth. Why pick 75dd to do this shit shit...at least have a draw when you bluff
I love how Phil is so much more self critical on his rants. All he did a few years back was complain that someone played a certain way when in reality he was out played. Now he complains that he isn't playing well. Well that and card luck

For me Phil Helmuth is a model Poker player.
He's the perfect model of how NOT to play Poker.

Nearly sure he won this heads up in the end
Phil said it. “It’s one hundred percent coming.” He was right. A fourteen karat snit is coming.
Honey he had Q Q unsuited
Shout out to Nick Wright! Love hearing you on fox sports radio.
I was initial hoping he'd get to show the ladies, but after hearing Phil getting way into his own head with that little post-hand self talk I'm torn on whether keeping them hidden may have been right.
For the winning poker players who won round 1 because I can’t afford that GG subscription it’s 2 1/3 bigs for me
I like that he took his time with the quads. It seemed as if he didn't even have trips. Great poker face.
I didn’t realize Nick Wright was into poker. Already cool with him as he was a local sports reporter before he landed his national gig, but seeing him enrage Hellmuth makes his appeal that much more for me.
It's crazy how un-GTO he plays and yet has been winning for decades. Much respect for him.
You got to love how Phil Helmuth verbally punished himself after a bad bluff.
Why? He is an ahole. He was verbally abusing his opponent, as usual.
Nick Wright I’m dead🤣🤣
I love it when Phil argues with himself. It's so entertaining!
He's just making sure the world watching is not making the mistake to not understand how great he actually is.

Phil has to be the most divisive figure in the poker world. Personally I think him, Negreanu and Tony G are far and away the most entertaining personalities we've got. Truly iconic interactions between the three, many laughs to be had.
nice acting by Wright on the turn
I love how poker GO puts up clips of Hellmuth getting beat/mad. The guy that just won 7 straight heads up matches against the best players in the world, and the only clips on youtube is of him losing. The dude is the best poker player in human history.

shame he isnt such an outstanding winner from an entertainment perspective than he is as a loser when he blows up or talks trash :D guess would be on him to change that
@@ricksanchez8386 That’s what made him a poker celebrity. Why would he ever change when he gets all the attention that leads to sponsorships which leads to side income etc. Poker community isn’t as rich 🤑 as Music or Movie or Media industry, but it’s still a small community with 100K players or audience , Helmuth is the most known poker player after Daniel Negreanu. I know literally nothing about poker. But, the vibe I get from watching Phil is there are poker rules and there are Phil's poker rules. And his opponents are expected to play by his rules when he's at the table.
It's almost as if he expects his opponents to give him a heads up about why they're betting the way they do. He does understand this is gambling, right?
And would it kill him to knock it off with the compli-sults and sincerely congratulate a player who beats him? His act is tiresome and someone should pop him in the mouth.
Hahah spot on, big baby can’t take admit when he’s at fault. It’s always someone else’s fault. I don’t like his attitude on the game, but it sure is fun watching him lose

Fantastic!
Hated the raise from Nick on the turn. Cannot believe Phil re raised him but 99% of the time 75 suited there folds and doesn't continue bluffing
I disagree, the pot was too small he had to take the risk of a raise there or Phil would just bet 2-3k on the river then give up.

Completely disagree I thought the raise was a great move. If he just calls there it just raises alarms in Phil’s head. The queen on the turn is a great card for nick to reraise it looks bluffy.
I guess just about anybody who's ever played Go Fish once can get Phil to tilt😂😂😂
While thats a true statement. Its a bluff vs pocket Queens... nevermind going to Quads. So... he started a hole. Dug thw hole deeper... and slow rolled HIMSELF into a deep pot.

I prefer a min raise on the river. There's very little Phil is going to call with there, with Nick holding all of the Queens. And a min raise still probably gets folded to, but I think it opens the door a little wider for Phil to try an all-in bluff.
