The ending used a lot of art from the novel, including Sakayanagi in her pajamas. It was pretty cool, but the original artwork is absolutely perfect. The anime just tried to make it similar. I agree, the music at the end of season 2 is better.
Classroom of the elite is a psychological high school anime where the best students in japan are placed into 4 different classes, class D is the lowest class with the students with the least potential and class A is the class with the geniuses. Ayanokoji (the main character) has been placed in class D and helps the class make it to class A, he has no emotions not has he ever fealt the warmth of a human touch. He was born in raised in this placed called the white room, his dad who found and created the place makes students go through rigorous training, in his generation which was the hardest he was the only survivor. Now his iq is about 280+ and knows and mastered every single martial arts. Now the general concept is that the school does these special exams which are really hard and if you fail you might get expelled. Its a really good anime you should give it a watch. And also it is not romance
Let me clarify something, it's not a spoiler but the anime didn't say it last season and doesn't look like it will explain it anytime soon, so: Arisu was never in the White Room. She knows about it because her dad (white hair guy in the OP, we met him last season) used to work for Ayanokouji's dad. Arisu has known Ayanokouji as the best the White Room has to offer since she was young, but Ayano never knew her. She considers him a fraud because he was created and taught from birth to be a super genius, while she was simply born that way; she wants to prove the real deal is better than a fabrication by defeating him. There's more to it, but she'll talk about it someday in the future (unless they cut it too 🤡)
arisus plan fails tho, ayanokoji is a born genius, he remembers everything even things that happened when he was a baby, which makes him more expiernced in his age, his adaption to everything is insane, he has no limits to what to endure or learn, as long as he wins at the end, he is ready to do anything what it takes, even killing himself! The question is did the events in the whiteroom from the start made ayanokoji think this way if this is the case including with his great memory check, the whiteroom was indeed just opening ayanokojis potential, while destroying everyone elses who was in the 4. generation, this proofs ayanokoji is unique and cant be remade
Thanks for additional context! What came to my mind when reading this was Season 2 episode 10, I believe it was a conversation with Kiyokata's dad and also going further in depth with the white room. I like the premise. An "artificial" genius for a "real" genius. I can see why Arisu wants to take down Kiyotaka.
