They lose natural and evolving biodiversity of HEALTHY MICROBES that our bodies need to build immunity! And the retards at Phillips Horticulture are stating that the plants show no signs of stress. I tend to think of operations like this as brain dead. Technology for the sake of technology. I grow microgreens in my basement with some window light and some lights that are on 50% of the time for 13 hours. See my videos.
The comments I have seen here suggest that this entire system relies on artificial light, with no natural sunlight. In fact, this lettuce spends most of it's time in natural sunlight. The moving gutter system that you see at the end is a greenhouse. Greenhouse is natural light intensive. The only part of the process that is artificially lighted is the germination.
now replace the robot with people that are way more energy efficient instead of that robot that is very efficient in making people more profit and non employing people
