The competition is now closed! We are tallying the votes! It’s gonna be close and the tension is almost unbearable!
Edit: I am speechless. We tallied the votes and the final score was 222-222. A DRAW!!!! What are the chances??? So, we will both be doing a young sheldon review! 😂

You can use a can opener to cut the inverse dome out of the bottom of a pop can and then place it on top after removing the tab. That will give you a nice convex tank.

I know I’m 3 years too late on my vote, but you win hands down! Your channel has inspired many of my builds and honestly continues to bring me back to the hobby when I lost all inspiration or energy to build. At one point I even threw away my collection of building materials, but I am slowly rebuilding my pile, got a 3D printer and I’m printing as many doors, terminals, and greebles that I can get my hands on. Pro Tip, don’t throw away your supplies, it’s so hard starting over…

I have to say that you both did a fantastic job. I like how you show how you don't have to force something you want to use but instead save it for another day. Also well thought out. Fortunately for you my vote goes to Eric's Hobby Workshop for a couple of reasons but it was close. 1. I liked how you put in lightning fixtures 2. I also liked how you had control panels that made it look like it was running the facility 3. Lastly, I liked how on the spiral cardboard you covered it in paper so you couldn't see the lines which I did see on the other one. These are very minut but was the tipping point for me because I can only hope to be on either of your levels in near future. Keep doing what you guys are doing because I love this kind of content because it gives many of us inspiration and ideas. I still love both by the way, but when you have 2 awesome things to judge you have to nitpick something. Well done to both of you.

I gotta give the win to Dark Matter here. Eric, I really liked this piece. It's one of your best next to the Desert Fort one - the Akira themed colors, the toxic pool, the lighting, the sheer playability of it... all outstanding. But Gert's scratch-built corpse grinder made from printer parts is too grimdark to ignore.

I use metal wire in foam for a re-bar style rubble look. I find just putting a drop of white glue on the metal and then sticking it in will secure it. Does take a little while to dry but it holds securely enough. Then ModPodge over it to seal it in.
    As always, nice work.

Having watched the Dark Matter video, I'm giving Eternal Glory to Eric's Hobby Workshop. I love your work, and creative construction inspirations. I hesitate to offer unsolicited suggestions, but I always notice when I'm watching your final base under-painting portions that there's lots of moments when you're painting hard to reach places in awkward angles.
You added these separate detail elements later and it's really cool.
I'm just thinking that in a couple places you could avoid gluing a couple major elements as well, so you could spray them separately, stencil or mask them easily, etc... and make the painting faster.
In this example the 2 Pepsi cans, that central cone-shaped thing you did the orange/brown paint on, maybe the cool green billboard flat surface... if those were separate, you could easily throw some masking tape on them to make color patterns, etc.
Anyway, hope that's taken constructively. Again, always love your vids :)

Oh man... sand jokes return. Never gets old. The use of color in this was really well done, grabs the eye and definitely gets the whole hive ganger vibe down pat. The detail put into it from the little gribbly bits to the color scheme, weathering etc was on point. However, I must concede the point to Gert over on Dark Matter Workshop. The Corpse Farm meat grinder meal prep is a truly horrendous bit of scenery and a perfect setting for the gruesome nature of Necromunda.
