I felt like I was in an entirely different world. The song definitely evoked a lot of emotion while I was listening to it. This is just great. Keep doing what you're doing, because you're definitely going on the right track.
First, it was Lindsey Stirling, then the Piano guys, and now, Taylor Davis, and I guess there are more other great and talented people doing this kind of music, trying to bring back this beautiful instruments to life. With this I mean, showing to the people that music isn't just a popular beat, is about musical notes full of feelings. I grew up listening to classical and orchestra symphonies, and this is just amazing, getting two worlds together, classic and contemporary, classical instruments with a touch of "epicness". Honestly, they're BOTH talented. They have different styles, that doesn't make one BETTER. They both make their own music / arrangements, and play them. And they're both really enjoyable to listen to. So rather than arguing over who is better, or belittling one of them's playing ability, why not just enjoy the music?

You should publish more original music and videos because the music you create is really intense and particular, I would say almost magical! I listened to "Reflections" and "Awakening" so many times, and also "Nebulous" is very beautiful ... I guess I have been listening to this for over 50 times since it was released. I tried to find some words to describe how I like your music, eventually I found no words else but a simple "Taylor, I love your music." Your music to me is like a rose in the desert to a traveler. I love your music so much.
I found Taylor yesterday. I heard the one or another thing performed by Lindsey over the last one or two years. Did I think there were similarities? Yes. Then again: a few years ago I listened a lot to David Garrett. Did I think there were similarities? Yes. - Did that make any one of them better than the other? No. Each of them has an unique way of performing and without really knowing about playing the violin I'd say they are on the same level. If they are on a different level I doubt a non-violinist could easily rank them according to skill. - But: We can rank them according to our own personal preference. But that's all it is: Our own personal preference. That being said: I really love Nebulous. In fact I like it better than Awakening. I don't really know why, it's just like that for me.
+Anakiana I agree. Every violinist offers something different, and it's a shame they're so uncommon in mainstream culture that any two popular violinists are automatically "rivals". That doesn't happen with singers and guitarist. It's just our natural tendency to pit people against one another. I actually think Taylor and Lindsey do completely different music. Aside from the instrument, I can hear two totally different people shining through in their music, and I'm not good at that kind of thing. Anyways, they're all good doing their own things, and none of them should strive to be more like another.

What's amazing about music of any kind is that notes can be put together in any and every way to make different tunes. The basic notes and their sharps/flats in different octaves arranged in such a way can make amazing music like this.
+Esteban Rivas Nah. An original would be better since it's two talented composers coming together. It would be a waste of talent not to incorporate both if their abilities to the fullest extent. Plus, I think it's important that their first official collaboration be an equal effort. Anything different would get too much hate for "one doing more work than the other" or "proof that one is less talented" and it might just fuel speculation that they don't like each other.

I was a chef at Abbey Road Studios in London for about a year about 10 years ago were I met and befriended another violinist Joshua Bell...his playing is amazing and I enjoyed his style very much and left with wonderment of his talent. You're the first violinist I heard in these ten years that has the same effect on me with their music as Joshua has. I'm looking forward to your new album coming out later this month.

I just bought this song and i love playing it. After a week when i started getting mot of it down my mother was walking past my room where i was practicing and stopped to listen. She liked it so much she stayed there for thirty minutes while i practiced. So basically thank you for making this piece and selling it so i could enjoy playing it too, even if my only audience is my mother.
