Nice to see you back - it's so sad when we loose a good friend - the older I get (am 76) I realize that life is a series of memories and dreams. Good friends leave us with good memories - your videos supply some very good dreams.
Sorry about your loss Clayton... Not many people (and even fewer fishing UA-camrs) are willing to open themselves up about things like this. It's one of the reasons why you have so many fans. A great fisherman and genuine human. You're one the real ones!
Sorry for your loss Clayton. ♡ Lost my mother 5 years ago, so I totally know the feeling. Thanks for posting videos and also being such a genuine person. Hope you're looking forward to the ice season as much as I do.
I'm sorry for your loss. It's touching to see you allow yourself to be honest and vulnerable with your audience, followers. Memories are part of what fishing is all about. Your summer Pike videos helped me to take the jump and invest in some new gear. I've made lots of memories fishing for Pike with friends, thanks in large part to you.
Sorry to hear about your loss Clayton. I’ve had similar experiences and I know it’s different for everyone but a good day of solo fishing is awesome therapy… catching a fish is just a bonus
So sorry for your loss. Your friend was definitely with you in the boat during filming. Great fish and a great reminder to not take our time together for granted.
So very sorry for your loss, Clayton. What a great way to honour your friend with a great day of monster hunting as you shared his story. Pretty cool that you landed that big walleye, picture proof was all you needed and good on you for turning the cameras off and taking the time you needed. Your following will always be here waiting. Take good care! And keep on keeping on with the monsters! ☺️☺️
We missed your videos and were hoping you were ok! So sorry for you and your families loss, hopefully time will heal your grief. Thank you for sharing your story and vulnerability in this video, losing someone is always so hard. 🤗
Sorry for your loss, bud. Just great to see you back. Missed ya, man! Can't wait for more of your videos. The Savage hard eel. They do have them on Ebay!! As I said before Welcome back! and sorry for your loss. We got your back, man!!
Sorry for your guys' loss Clayton. Definitely appreciate you being real and transparent on camera. UA-cam isn't always that way. Looking forward to more great content! 👍🏻
So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, Clayton. Prayers for your families. Let his memories of the good time carry you through the tough times. Mike is sending you some beautiful pike today! ❤️
I'm glad you took the time to take care of yourself after such a tough loss. Sounds like he sent you a few beautiful fish to say goodbye though! Beauty pike and lots of root beer worthy walleye are a wonderful way to remember your friend.
What a great day!!! a new CSO video to watch. Talk about some stellar pike. So fun to watch. Clayton thanks for being so classy. Honestly your videos are the best. Amazing fish aside, the message and the instruction you give are so positive and needed in this world today. (Including the instruction on being kind and reaching out) My condolences to you and to Mikes family. Look forward to more videos. All the best this fall.
Great video Clayton. Sorry for the loss of your good friend. Not everyone can open up and talk about losing a close one. Keep doing what you do best. Looking forward to seeing you again at the fishing expo in Wpg
Nice to have you back , congrats on the tournament! Getting old sucks to say the least, I think people don’t realize how easy it is to communicate now days sometimes it’s taken for granted ☹️. Bring on the ice season🥶
Sorry for the loss of your friend. Glad to see you back. I ended up in the ER last week for left arm & chest pains. They were pretty sure I was having a heart attack. I thought I just overworked putting up tree stands. I came out ok but have to do a treadmill test today. If ok, I’m headed to lake vermilion mn Wednesday for 10 days. Take care of yourself! Wish me luck on both😎
Thanks for sharing that Clayton. I cut communication with my father because we weren't getting along and planned on reaching out to him when I was better. A couple days before my birthday in 2021 I was half bombed walking home from my friends house and watched the sheriff pull in my driveway. I still don't have the heart to go through my voicemails. I thought I had time. To everyone out there, be heavy with the hugs and the I love yous.
Losing a friend is never easy. I hope your memories of him are comforting. It was really nice to meet you in person at the LMLWT. It would be fun to just sit and chat in a quieter spot someday. Tight lines and seamless editing!
Catching that monster walleye without filming is something he gave you and him to share one last moment together - something that was just between you two alone. Bloody heck those were some nice gators 🐊
Oh man!!!! I was thinking that you must have went on some kind of crazy binder and Cindy kicked your drunk ass to the curb... Whewwww Condolences, sincerely..... Much love from the corn patch Clayton.
Sorry for your loss Clayton. I went through the same thing lost my uncle from a widow maker. It really affected me and I did not feel like fishing either.
Great video Clayton. Sorry for your, and the fishing industry’s loss. It seems to me those 38-39” pike fight way more aggressively than the 42”+ pike. The big big pike will take a long rip of a run and then just lolygag into the boat.
I would love to fish a tournament with you in Northern Ontario! I will do all the filming editing and catching you can sit back and chill!😊. 🙏 for your Friend . Good to have you Back ! 🧨
Sorry to hear about your friend. Both of my childhood best friends are now gone. The first was 3 years ago, and the other was this summer. It's a totally different thing when you loose your buddies 😢

Appreciate that! Sorry, keeping the lake unnamed for the fear of having so many people come. Here is what I can tell you though, most lakes that have Pike also have BIG Pike, you just have to find them :)
Great video. Love the big gators. I sure hope that wasn't a lamprey if you're fishing the lake I'm thinking off. Really don't want to see those things start showing up in sask/manitoba
I have to agree with you, definitely had the red circle too where it fell off. Hopefully they aren't some invasive one that will start spreading and just some rarely seen native ones. Looked it up and guess we do have what's called a chestnut lamprey here
