It's crazy to watch this and know what an important year for history 1969 was. If a time machine is ever built, this year will be a must visit. Lol
Its crazy how fast thes old cars go.
This was my first Daytona 500 w/ my father. I've told my son and others about the exciting finish.
Does “NASACAR ALL OUT” have access to complete library of Bud Lindermanns videos? There is an old USAC stock car race from 69’ in North Eastern Wisconsin that no one has posted.
Wait a minute!!!! The #21 is a 68 Torino not a Spoiler. What is this ??? Guess the factory didnt have the homaligation cars built yet.
yep when ford showed up at daytona with the new cyclone and boss 429 engine nascar refused to let either race.
The #21 Cyclone was either winning or being wrecked out of race in all of 69
Footage of Darrell Waltrip flipping during Late Model Sportsman practice at Nashville 1973 was uploaded here a few day ago @4:40 ua-cam.com/video/ftMbuTEXQaw/v-deo.html
It’s not shown here, but one of the drivers, Don MacTavish, was killed on the 9th lap of the race.
Wrong race. That was the Sportsman Division (now Xfinity Series) race. This was the 1969 Daytona 500, for the Cup Series.
21k purse and another 10k in sticker money. That was not as much as it pays today.
