Just loving the science explanations around the golf swing. This makes the swing, at least for me, so much easier to understand and learn. Thanks so much. Cheers.

Thank you, Stuart. I’ve been watch a number of your videos and see references to pulling down the club. Have you don’t a video on what one should be doing when pulling down the club on the down swing? Thank you!

A massive thank you Stuart this was absolutely fantastic and nailed exactly what I was feeling in my swing when I was getting stuck. Point 1 was helpful as I thought I had my grip In the fingers but on further examination it could be moved a little more into them. Points 3 and 4 were the real light bulb moments tho as when you illustrated turning the hips to target and the butt of the club moving away from me perfectly explained what is/was happening to me. I watched your other video on applying pressure to the handle of the club on my dinner break then went out for a twilight round after work today to give it a try and couldn't believe the immediate positive results I got. I ordered a theraband whilst I was on the course 😅😅
Thanks again Stuart I can see once I get to work on the theraband drill that this will be a huge game changer for me.
    😁👏🏾👍🏾👊🏾

@@GoodGolfCoaching I'll update you in a couple of weeks once I've had time to use the theraband and a few trips to the range, but I have no doubts that this will change my game for the better as in the game yesterday I was actually trying to spin out excessively to see what would happen and i saw a significant reduction in the curvature of the ball where normally the ball would have been OOB or on another golf course 😅😕 it was ending up in the right rough but still in play 😁😁
Thanks again Stuart, keep up the good work 👍🏾👊🏾

Thanks, Stuart maybe you could talk about how so many elite coaches, mostly European or UK advocate holding the arms up while pivoting or rotations through the shot with side bend and tilt. I went down this road for many months, great for accuracy but horrible for distance, and the more I tried to rotate faster to gain distance the more back pain I experienced. Two schools of thought I think here, the arm swing, I now practice, and the rotary or pivot swing that is being taught to so many young players.

Net-Zero it’s a good question; I will do a video on it and share my thoughts. It’s quite specific of course, so it’s not particularly high on my list but I will jot it down for you of course. On the subject in the interim; anyone who labels themself as an elite coach immediately flashes an amber light to me. All golfers have to adhere to the same forces, the same interaction the ball and club must react to, skill set and ability is different of course along with strengths and weaknesses but to go against how we move as humans to simply push or pull a person around to make imagery happen is antiquated at best. Make the human move first, coach the golfer second. Communication and getting the best out of golfers is simple when they start improving strike, and dispersion. Hopefully that goes some way to answering your question.

@@GoodGolfCoaching Thanks Stuart. Will do. Just started video 4 of the grip series. FYI..Tried to practice the grip and pitch a few balls just now and still hitting behind the ball a lot or most of the time, which is my most frequent mis hit with irons and fair way woods, not slicing or hitting too far right or left…second most common mis hit with same clubs is topping or hitting thin. I only seem to slice the driver. Not a hooker of the driver. Will watch “ every tour pro does this” next.
