If I I’m going up a trail and don’t want to go low, I’ll just go full locked and go slower. But I have the trx6. Thanks for the tip tho I’ll keep in mind

is it possible to put everything on the same switch? so when i do high gear it automatically unlocks diffs and low gear automatically locks diffs? Would be nice to free up the 3 position switch for a winch

Thanks, the only thing I'd say is do they have the GPS on it? At the end of the day my view is it's a crawler and if it can go faster that I can walk that's the job done, If people want speed buy a rustler / slash/ bandit, 8S maxx - Ive videod a 2s/3s test and some give it the thumbs down. It's a crawler! Do people want 15-20mph? That's not crawling speed! (THanks by the way for invoking this discussion. I've borrowed the stores car each weekend, And to be honest as long as it's faster than you can walk, i've found no isue with it) Hope that makes sense? Not having a go at ypu!,
Driftomaniacs I understand, i know what his is made for and like you said, if you want speed get something different made for that. I was just saying that on traxxas website for some reason they made it seem like when you put it on high that thing went quick but I saw your vid with the gps and it is quick for a crawler. I know for a crawler that you want low speed and lots of torque

shifting lockers if drivetrain is under full compression (not in motion).Driving in a though obstacle ,stop the car unlock rear, stear right drive like 10cm stop lock rear drive by.

not really. you should never change gears or lockers when the car is not moving as it puts strain on the micro servos. when crawling dont lock both diffs just because you are crawling..... lock them as you need to in order to get better controll.... that is why you can lock front alone.. and then back if you need.. sometimes locking only front is better. but dont lock both unless you need to.
+deanblaine duplessis I agree with having mechanical sympathy however traxxas sellthis with on the fly changing. It handles such changing way better than the summit did. Also if it wasn’t set up for on the fly changes then surely traxxas would have warranty issues a plenty. But I do actually agree that mechanical sympathy will aid longevity

We're coming at it from what does the car do, not just a video of it crawling over rocks. dirt etc. Many people don't know what it does differently, and many that do know what it does differently don't know how it does that. Shooting a bit of crawling video each day.
