I know they're not "designed" for speed, but it'd be really nice if they had a brushless option from the factory. That thing looks wicked on brushless!
@@herbbates4713 a sensored brushless motor doesn't have to be fast per-se, but can extend runtime and give added power. A sensored motor will also give you control as as, or better than, a brushed motor. I get that this video was overkill for a crawler, but there are benefits of brushless over brushed, more than just speed, if done right.

I feel like the trx4 is the most scale truck in existence. It jumps and acts like a real truck would. I love mine and its the only truck i have been able to break break. Iv broken a locker pin but i was being dumb and take the blame for that lol Great videos as always!

I'm a Trailfinder 2 fan myself, but I will forever tell someone asking what rig to start with to get a TRX4 Sport. Things are bombproof to a fault. You have to TRY to break them to break them.
my trx 4 is 5 years old with a castle setup and a brass front bumper mount(and savox servo). nothing has broken aside from the original bumper mount. i play like kevin talbot.
the only thing i ever neded to replace was the stock front bumper mount. other than that its been super solid even running on 3s castle system. ive jumped the hell out of it.
That’s stupid power for that rig. Traxxas has put all kinds of pressure on the competition over the last 5 years or so. I can’t believe it can take not only the power, but the beating as well.

I had the retainer pin/grub screw con out of my front driveshaft, it ate a hole into the trans and chewed up a gear.
