unironically i had fun playing the original version of crimewar, it was a fine mobile game that wasnt some shit idle game or a freemodel mess reading that it was taken down, then brought back up by a worse developer, with worse gameplay and a heavy sprinkle of lootboxes just made me sad i already knew people werent gonna like it, but atleast BFI tried to make it fun (which they did, atleast for me), i honestly kinda miss playing it

Payday 2 Update 237 was the recent one that brought it to the Epic Games Store. Switching to servers to Epic also broke Steam's matchmaking for me and my friends for about a week.

@@niels6411 I'm definitely gonna play the hell out of Payday 3 and I'm probably gonna make a few videos on it. I wanted to make Payday 2 content for ages but I've just never brought myself to do it.
It's definitely underwent a lot of changes, I don't hate the game in it's current state. It could have been so much worse. I just wish the Diesel engine was capable of handling as many enemies as they try to spawn in.

This mentality has to stop, earn 👏 your 👏 money 👏 Money for broken/in progress is reserved for “kickstarters” then the developers alpha test (themselves), which leads to people outside the company to beta test & give feedback. Payday 2 for the consoles like ps4 are outdated and are probably gonna be nostalgic to pc games, seeing how the old safe house was, the old cimano 88 textures with the #14 on te right which was removed after the textures update that surprise surprise, never happened on the ps4. It is outdated for like 100 updates
The issue with "It's just cosmetic" is that it lets developers know they can get away with putting more egregious monetization in. Back in the day, $20 would get you a full expansion pack loaded with new maps, modes and features. Nowadays, it gets you 1 new skin. Sure, it's "just cosmetic", but is it really worth the price they're asking of you? And is it worth the publishers deliberately releasing the game unfinished while drip-feeding the rest of it in?
