And I recommend a larger area with sand because he can not roll and get a good bath in that small sand bath… If you want to learn more about hamster and proper hamster care I reccomend Victoria reachel! But you are on the right way in giving your ham a beautiful home ❤

And you might be wondering “but she can just take him/her out of the cage once/twice a day” that is not the case, because Hiro should be able to get to the sand at all times! Hamsters 🐹 like to roll and dig in the sand whenever they want and sometimes sleep in it. Hamsters 🐹 are also nocturnal (meaning they normally sleep 💤 in the day and are active at night) so she wouldn’t be able to take him out to play in the sand in the day because Hiro would probably be sleeping, also she doesn’t know when Hiro wants to play in the sand either. I love the idea for a cooling dish to sit in in case he gets too warm! I've never seen that and have been worrying I've been making it too warm for them so I'm really glad I stumbled on this

hi!, the cage setup is really cute but you should probably get a larger cage and a larger sand bath cuz that's going to be you hamsters little world to explore and you should also compress the bedding more so that it's tunnels can hold.

A little wheel makes hamsters back curved and damage their spine. I reccomend Victoria Reachel! She's not the best, but still a very good hamster owner and knows a lot about hamsters. THank you!😊
You need to add more bedding even if it's not very deep. If the hamster falls it must not fall on hard surfaces! Also maybe bigger sand bath bowl cause that will not be very comfortable for it to bath in 🙃
At 11:19 there was a teeny tiny 🤏🏻 bug on the tofu in Hiro’s (btw love his name in Japanese it means “abundant, wide or broad” or kanji meaning “sun ☀ or sunlight” cage. Idk how I noticed it. It’s literally the size of a germ 🦠
This is a lovely cage however it is still under the bare minimum for a hamster of any breed or size. If you have the money to buy a brand new acrylic aesthetic cage like that. I’m sure you can afford to get him something a bigger size. Otherwise, the enrichment is great.

Girl it isn’t , it’s clearly decent , the wheel is good the hamster is not curbing his back but a few things wrong is the wheel is a bit small and theirs a hamster ball so you have a point .

80 x 50 cm is the minimum size of enclosure you can have for a dwarf hamster. it's great that you've upgraded, but its still under the bare minimum.
