Hi thank you for your kind comment and for taking the time to message us. These are little bonus episodes away from our main weekly waterways adventures but they do link in very nicely with the off grid lifestyle. Hope you find it useful. J&M x
Hi guy, I actually got one of these power stations for my camper and I absolutely love it. It’s just good to have something on standby just in case you’re running short of power and you can just go and plug it into 240 V somewhere to top it back up anyway keep up the good work. Love your Videos Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺🧑🏾🦽
Hi Cliff, lovely to hear from you. How is it in Queensland, warm at this time of year we are sure. Yes it's a perfect piece of kit for off grid lifestyle like boats and campers. If we still had our motorhome we would use it too. Thanks for watching and dropping us a comment. J&M x
Hi, Absolutely.. would be totally perfect for you. It will run all your devices, TV’s etc in the event of a power outage. Don’t forget to use the link in the video description to get the discount. ua-cam.com/users/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbWF1TjE3Y3Z5R1QwMUFZYVR5MENvWHhzNVVzUXxBQ3Jtc0tsd241clAxdTZEY0hxdElEekxNYUkzQ3hObjlQREpVT2d5YkYzRkNtQUY2ZG9ZWHZ0eGw1YUtlS2QxcjJwc3ZfU3dUYkhJRDR0RzluNV96eUl6T1BoZTF5clRJVFplSGMtTDd2dG9ZV1Frd1VJc1hsbw&q=https%3A%2F%2Fnoxl.ink%2FtKVzU5&v=QGasSjH_VdA
Love these bonus videos. Looks a good bit of kit to be fair. Definitely would come in handy. Nowt wrong with that tash Michael, looking good and all for a good course. And what a treat seeing the lovely Jackie midweek 😊. Thanks for posting Michael from Leicester xx
Hi Michael, so pleased you like our little bonus episodes, they are great fun to do and we love this Portable Power Station, perfect for our lifestyle. I'll let Michael know you like his tash haha it's not my favourite though...... hope all good in Leicester Michael xx
Hi yes this is amazing, takes no time to charge, maybe we'll invest in a solar panel for it and harvest gods gift!! You fancy buying one?? Let us know if you do. Thanks for the comment.
Great comment, I can't possibly tell him that... he he. I don't like it it's all prickly but that's another story. Hope you enjoyed our little bonus episode. More fun and games on Sunday. x
I may be wrong but i hope you may know that the charging of this power bank is via mains 230v - solar and i believe the same solar input charging point can be used with a cigarette lighter lead but is not supplied
not sure if this one takes an extra battery but its surprising just how quickly you can run these down, if you can run the laptop on a 12v output its better than using power bricks. all devices charge faster and use less power if you turn them off first. I'm looking at 8kw powerstation storage minimium but you can increase the power with a cheaper standard lithium or lead battery patched into the power in port which usually uses less drain than the boat inverter. you can charge your phones off the power tool batteries as well. I use my ebike batteries as 48v powerbanks as well.
Hi David thanks for your comment and all the helpful information, power is so important when you are living off grid, we'll certainly bear your comment in mind. Hope your'e enjoying our little adventures?
Useful piece of kit. How will it cope on cloudy days, I wonder? I don't know about using I as a torch. At 14 kilos, it could feel a bit heavy after a few hundred yards. But I'm sure you will make good use of it.
Great comment, thankfully Michael has big muscles (ha ha) and carrying it along the towpath easy for him. It's perfect we just need to get the solar panel now and then even on cloudy days it will store power for us. The solar we have on BR on the roof collects power on dull days too.
LOL but great if your phone runs out of charge on the way back... a little stop and a recharge using the Aferiy and your sorted. Great cheeky comment, thank you. x
I'v seen ecoflow are selling an Aircon unit that has its own solar panel I'm sooooo tempted to get one for the summer but the price tag is pretty hefty at 2.5k
Hi Nathan, now an aircon unit sounds great, there are so many good ideas around. A bit steep the price, sure they will come down in time. We love our Aferiy, so helpful for our lifestyle. Thanks for taking the time to comment, we so appreciate it. J&M x
Our son works in the coffee industry and has a French press too, we'll have to dig ours out and start using that. We love the creme on the top of our coffees and we only seem to get that from our trusty little machine.... yummy xx
Why don’t you go hybrid lifepo? Did ours this weekend after year of lead acids and other things made by Jack!! Best thing ever, Webasto starts no problem freezer on ALL NIGHT 😂. Come into the not dark side x
Have u tried plugging into ur shore power to run the boat on ur current system like being in a marina and keep the boat batteries topped up over night?
Yes we can do that when ever we go into a marina, which is not often because we are self sufficient with our off grid lifestyle. Our solar panels provide all the power we need. Thanks for your comment.
@@cruisingontheborder with our ecoflow we connect it to our shore input so it keeps our batteries topped up and u can run everything with out moving the battery pack around the boat all the time, just need a Fly Lead Converter 13A Plug to 16A Socket and ur normal shore power cable
Good Vid thanks and if you've been on the GU between Berko and Stoke Bruerne in the past we've probably crossed paths on NB Pimms O'Clock. Still a quick question. Could you run a microwave cooker off the Aferiy? Cheers
Hi. Yes you could run a microwave from the afferiy. The Afferiy is 2400w max output and most microwaves are less than 1000w so no probs.. plenty of power left for other kit after that too. Enjoy! Hi there, thanks for your comment. Yes we've had some incredible different brands to try out, we've loved them all. Just direct contact via email from each brand nothing more complex than that. Are you fancying buying the Aferiy, it's an incredible piece of kit, try it. Great discounts available with our link.xx
An amazing storage unit to say the least. Wish I could afford one. Retiring soon. This time of year I get hit with four or five big bills so I'm always tight. Having to replace my truck's leaf springs tomorrow. Cost an arm and a leg to purchase.
Hi, thanks for your great comment, yes bills are high here if you have a house, we think solar is the way forwards and this give us a little boost on darker days. Hope you get your leaf springs sorted. xx
Hi Chris and Sue, lovely to hear from you. It's one I bought from Amazon... www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08PFRQ31Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That link should work, yes it's great for a 800w dryer, perfect for the boat. Hope it works for you. Jac xx

hey! thanks for the video. do you think it is possible to charge this powerstation with camper inventer thru AC port? greetings from Ireland
Yes, absolutely depends on the size of your invertor.

Yes totally it will, we don't want to waste fuel, it's so expensive and bad for the environment.
