'your elbows are a part of your pelvis, not a part of your shoulders' this statement is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for all this helpful content.
Have just found your channel and can't wait to start trying all this with my horse! Our canter work is atrocious and everything you say that can go wrong does. He speeds up, loses balance, starts to lean on my hands. Advice up to now has been to lift inside rein and put inside leg on then relax when he softens but it seems like I have to repeat again every few strides and it improves a bit but no long term fix. Becomes hard to ride and keep my seat from bouncing, my shoulders upright etc. looking forward to getting good information from your videos..thankyou💃
I will try all 3 this weekend and will comment :), thank you very much for your help!!!
The dropbox document was really handy, especially the section 'aids during the canter stride' - thank you!
So toll, habt ihr das auch in Deutsch?, so toll erklärt. Genau das kann man nachspüren.

What is the name of course no 1?
Do you have advice on downwards transition out of the canter? My horse gets very strong in the downward transition like a freight train ha ha lol.
Why do you not use a helmet?
We do sometimes. It depends on the situation and the horse.
