In this video I cover three of my favorite herbs of fall. This autumn season I have found myself rather drawn to apples, chrysanthemums, and rose hips and they've been integrated throughout many of my spells, house magick, and kitchen witchery

Think about it, everything in a pumpkin spice latte is a magickal herb, blended in perfect proportions, served during the proper season.

I just made a hedgerow fire cider with rose hips and elderberry (as well as a few other more traditional fire cider botanicals) - it felt so natural to be crafting a protective potion to keep me and my family safe and healthy through the winter. :)

I love rosehips! You know, everywhere you look online there are western rosehip recipes that tell you to spend hours taking out the little hairs. But I'm from Turkey and recently used a traditional recipe for rosehip jam that didn't involve any de-hairing. We just sieved it twice using muslin instead. It totally worked! No irritation and it was so tasty!

I’m really confused right now about the 4 dislikes currently on the video. I mean, I get that some people may not enjoy this type of content, but even still…so much so to leave a thumbs down? How? This is, at the very least, soothing & peaceful to watch/listen to. What’s not to like about that? Idk- just my thoughts.
I personally really enjoyed it! 🧡

Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons. I was born in the middle of winter and I love the beautiful leaves of fall and the blinding snow in that comes in winter. I also love the look of frost and the crisp smell. The bad thing is though my family is moving to Florida, so I will be missing out on some of the aspects of my favorite seasons.
Edit: I am still happy about moving as it brings a new start and moving to Florida might give me a new outlook on life and on my practice. Another thing is it will be good to get away from the house I currently live in because of a lot of negative things have happened are as my brother got hit by a car right at the bottom are driveway and my father committed suicide in the house.

Since I moved to Sweden I’ve been drawn to using rose hips during this season. Traditionally they were dried and used through the winter as a source of vitamin c. One of my favourite recipes is “nyponsoppa” , a sweet hot soup made from rose hips, and even available in powder form or in a carton at most supermarkets here, although I think it’s always tastier made from scratch. It’s a super easy recipe with very few ingredients, and often not necessary to remove the seeds!

I love your videos they're very inspiring and your voice is so calming with gentle music in the background!
My husband and I drank chrysanthemum tea and it is very good to break stress. But the tea gave me a headache. I found some herbal cough drops with chrysanthemum and yet I got healed! I love rose hips for my skin and do a lot of DIYs. And who can stay away from apples seriously they're like the best fruit ever! I certainly would like to taste your pie I bet it's extraordinary. I grew up in Pennsylvania and the Amish made the best pies.
I didn't know about your hair but I'm glad to know that everything is thriving back and you're getting healthier and your body is stable!
Sending you love and light from Los Angeles!

In Sweden we have something called 'nyponsoppa'. Directly translated it would be 'rose hip soup' I guess, don't know if it's even a thing anywhere else. It's basically a dessert soup usually served with a bit of whipped cream and almond bisquits - super autumnal and warming, and I think it would be great to use magicalmy. I think you'd might enjoy it if you'd like to try some time :)
Otherwise my favorites are elderberries, rowan berries and pine.

The storms have passed and the sun is shining. I’m going to follow your lead and go wander the woodlands near me. 🌳 When I was a child, many many moons ago, we would slowly twist the stem of an apple while saying the alphabet. Whatever letter you’re on when the stem releases is the first initial of someone who cares about you. It’s so ingrained, I still do it today. 🥰

research the "no poo" method of cleaning hair . Basically it is baking soda dissolved in warm warm and then apple cider vinegar in warm rinse rinse for conditioning I also use a ting bit of argon or coconut oil on the ends ...only air dry never use a blow dryer or curling iron > Also if you can get a hair stylist to cut it dry is best they call it the " diva method of cutting " I believe all on youtube . Also trim hair as close to a full moon waxing as possible do not cut during a waning moon

That’s an interesting different take than what I’ve heard using apples to predict the first letter of your true love. The one I heard growing up involved the apple stem. You grab it and twist, and with each twist you say the next letter in the alphabet. The letter you’re on when the stem pulls out is supposed to be the first letter of your true love. I love hearing the different variations of things like these depending on where you grew up or who you knew

So glad ‘not tested on animals’ is important to you. There’s so many you tuber-insta influencers that don’t think about that when they get a sponsor which I find very sad.
