This was my first time using them and while I know they are typically used for sports portraits, I think they are killer for studio portrait photography.
On this particular photoshoot, I used the perfect photography lighting kit to create an old hollywood style portrait. In addition, we added some canned aerosol to the shoot to create a little more texture in the background.
In addition, on this in studio shoot, I used gelled photography and lighting to add to the mood of the shot.

On the canned atmosphere - what brand do you use?

Vanessa nailed it with the Jessica Rabbit look.
I think The Blue background is better cause it makes her really standout and draws you to her. The orange is nice, but as neat as the lights being in the background are they draw too much attention from Vanessa.

🔥 🚒 I use disposable shower caps as hoodie over the fire alarms --> that prevents the alarm from going off 🧯
Don't forget to remove it when you are done.
The canned aerosol doesn't last long. However it's different when you run a haze machine for a while. You might have to wait before you can safely remove the covers.
+++Always try at your own risk and after asking your local fire department.
