Apologies, I had to re-upload the video because of some music issues - - I hope I covered most everything but if you still have questions drop them below. Or just leave a comment for the algorithm! Also don't forget all the gear should be linked in the description and get that smoke for 15% off!
These are so helpful (the quick set-up softboxes). SO much faster than the rods. What would be so awesome, in my opinion and perhaps a propriety sale for both your company and softbox manuf, is what about a plastic ZIPPER instead of the velcro? You have 1/2 of the zipper on the softbox (propriety) and the other 1/2 of the zipper on your Mod and then you just zipper them around the four sides. Can be 4 separate zippers or one continuous one that goes around the whole of the softbox. Would help make, with the quick release/assemble softboxes, an extremely quick/breakdown. I would guess 2-3 minutes each. Hopefully this might be something for you all to consider. Thanks for you product. I love mine. :-)
I'm enjoying the heck out of the mods, and now I can't wait to implement more of your tips. Thank you for making these videos. You've definitely helped me develop more skills. 🙏🙏🙏
your videos are amazing and informal, I finally got a pro light mod and a strobe I'm just waiting for the soft box to come, I still kinda new to the photography world but I'm defiantly inspired by your work witch is the best you are the G.O.A.T, I'm saving up for another strobe and more equipment, so I can really get to it so thanks for the guide line I just have a question can I still get great action shoots with a two light set up??
💥💥 James, you are the best. I can’t thank you enough for all of this info and I’ll be placing an order within a week for some mods but I have to figure out a light pattern. I definitely can not afford a 10 light setup like what you have here but I can dream about it.
@@QuantzPhoto Or in my case, two at time. This may be a difficult thing for you to reply to but, I haven't bought any yet and I am going back and forth between the 2x3 and 3x3 but my preference is to go with two of the 2x3 mods asa starter. Can you offer any suggestion as to what you think might be better to start with as I slowly grow my collection? No matter what I get I have to buy light boxes to fit either one so that will not affect my decision. I also was to get the strips that have 5 light cutouts eventually. I think they are for a 1x5 strip box.
The 2x3’s are a great option and I’d recommend the Smallrig “easy” softboxes. The 5 hole strips are 1x4’s and they’re a couple easy box options for those as well!
enjoy listening to your UA-cam channel. I purchased your 3x4 Pro light mod, but I have a question and that is I'm not clear on when you take the image are you using strobe or continuous light?
While you can use them with constant lighting I mainly use them with strobes in order to make sure I have them bright enough to resemble stadium lights.
I am wanting to get several 1x4 boxes and pro light mods and several 3x4 boxes and pro light mods....but I am not a photographer, I am a high school computer graphics teacher who is in charge of the video board at the stadium when we got the board 2 years ago. I muddle through doing cool stuff for the athletes to put on the board. So far I have been pretty successful. I do have a sowewhat hefty budget. Can you help with what I will need to get if I have the NEEWER CB60 RGB 70W LED Video Light with App Control, Bowens Mount COB Full Color Continuous Output Lighting 18000Lux/1m CCT 2700K-6500K CRI97+ 17 Scenes for Photography/Studio Video Recording purchased from Amazon....I am not sure what adapter I need to get to make these fit to my NEEWER CB60s. Thank you so much and I can't wait to try these.
Got to love copyright claims.... I wrote a follow up comment from yesterday's upload. Westcott lights are quite hard to get hold of in the UK, what alternative lights would you recommend? I already have one Godox AD200. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback!! I really appreciate it!
Good to see you are now using Jinbei HD400pro lights !
I guess that depends on where you're located! 🤔
Love your videos! They are so helpful! Thank you for doing them. I'm putting a similar set-up together. What turf do you recommend?
Whatever works, tbh!

How to deal with the fog building up in the area to where its a haze?
Do you recommend the 1/8 grade for the Pro Mist Filter? I’ve never used one so I don’t know wjhat each grade does.
It’s great to have in your bag! IMO the 1/4 is generally too strong.
Is a black pro mist filter what you are using? When i search for pro mist filter thats what comes up.
Yes that's it - a 1/8th!

You know it! 😩. Wex and Carmarthen Camera carry Westcott gear over there.
Can i use an ad200 pro for these or do i need a strobe 🤔
You can use them with ad200's. Those are strobes as far as I know!
How do I get that crispy black background? 🥲 my main light always light up the black background/tripods. Do some of you have any ideas? Thank youuu 💞
Sounds like a video idea!
Do you sell the mods? If so what's the website?
Linked in the description! ProLightMods.com
is there EU retailers?
Starting tomorrow there should be!
For some reason I thought there was a 16x48 mod
Just 12x48 currently
