- Opening up the Tent for the season. Cutting my way in because of so many trees down. Tree damage at the Backwoods Cabin. Campfire and solitude. The Tent.
An hour with Joe
For sure relaxing! I always have a dilemma when he posts. Do I watch immediately, or do I wait until I can't any longer? The longest I've waited is two hours. haha
I can't figure out why canvas still?
I think the only one that wasn't relaxing for this video was Joe. lol
@@harrycummings2407 He's the energizer bunny on steroids----a skill i wish i had.
I knew Joe was gonna take care of them trees for his dad that shows what kind of heart he has
The tent always reminds of a place I used to go as a kid. It was an old cabin on a lake. We would spend weekends there hunting, fishing, cooking, and goofing off. Thanks for the videos.
have been watching these tent videos for ages now.. They never get old.. They r so relaxing :)
Nice shot of campfire and distant interior lights inside the tent! Warm yellows and reds against the cool blues of evening! Always appreciate those cinematic touches. Good work!
God, I love these tent videos!!!!!!!!!!!
"Yea. The pen's back." 🤣
I admire you and your dedication I’m 67 and crippled but I love your work you’re dad is quite talented my dad was a cabinet maker and a home builder I admire people who have a great talent
👍 for wearing your hearing protection! 💖🌞🌵😷
Thanks Joe! Take it easy! That’s a lot of work! Thanks for sharing! Love the tent !
Always enjoy your videos Thank You for posting your adventures for others to enjoy also.
Joe, great tent video, thank you. Watch the activity level. We would hope to see you continuing to progress. We love you, Joe! Take good care!
Take it easy Joe, don’t over do it. Great video. I have been missing the tent videos.
Always nice to catch that glimpse of Lake Superior. Your lake is beautiful, too. Nothing like jumping right back in with the chain saw, your 'lifting' restrictions just over. That is a lot of downed trees. Continued healing and thanks for sharing the tent! 👍😎🇨🇦🌲🔥🌊
Hello Joe I really appreciate you and your family.I really look forward to seeing your videos.Thank you
Hello from West Fargo...the snow at the Tent was priceless. Glad to see you getting better. Can't wait for the fishing opener with Melissa.
Joe I really felt bad for you having to cut all those trees. Hope the visit at the tent makes all things better.
Been watching for years. Joe you and your dad have beautiful places. I hope to own a camp one day
It's great seeing the Tent again. Happy your healing well Joe. Thanks for the nice long Tent Video
Thanks for taking Me along Joe, can't wait until opening fishing 😀
The tent location is beautiful . All the trees are beautiful. Looking over the lake is breathtaking
I have Pride of Viewership! So glad to see the tent!
I know it’s hard to see something that needs to be done and not do it, but, Joe, please take care of yourself. We love you out here.
Ohhhhh it is soooo good to be up at the tent!!! ❤
Joe you give a new meaning to the word " work " 👍👍🤠
Your videos are beyond relaxing, so pretty at the tent, calming even. Hope you’re still taking it half easy, lol, you seemed hard at it, but also a good kid to your Dad, I’m 69, and on a good day, when I can get up in the morning, and not ache too much, (which is rare 😂), I still feel like a kid, at least in my mind. Keep doing what you’re doing, seems to be working. N.S. 😊
Looks like you gained a little bit of weight. Jeans are looking good. So glad to see you up at the tent. Another year of fishing, hunting, and good times. Can't wait to see you all once again. You did a lot of work cutting everything down. Rest up and take care. 🤗God bless.
I gained 4 pounds during my 6 week restricted time. Now that all the spring and summer work with the garden etc, I am guessing it will be gone pretty fast.
Very nice to help out your dad. Sad that it happened, he has such a beautiful place and he has put in a lot of work. Bummer no birds.
Jeez Joe....take it easy, man. You're not 20 anymore, and it takes time to heal. I really hope your Doctor doesn't watch the channel😂. Love the channel. You really set the standard for work ethic.
So much work you did! I bet you were sore the next day!
Good to hear from you Joe!
Mr. Joe, please take it easy, they tell you 6 weeks for a normal person; you are not a normal person and I don’t mean that in a bad way! Give it ten! Cheers from VT
Wow, in all your videos I don't think I have ever seen that many trees down all at one time in your videos. I hope everyone appreciates all that you do.
Its always nice to see the tent and the lake 😊 plus all the other content. Tyfs God bless you
Great overnight outing Joe, lots of stuff done to get to and around the tent and Dad's Cabin and everything cleaned up nicely. Take it easy on the straining, it's easy to over do it. Stay safe and keep up the great videos. Fred.
I always enjoy the clean up and get ready to leave process....satisfies the OCD in me😊
Thanks Joe. Good to see you back on that saw again. 🇺🇸
Great video joe glad to see u on the mend againl looking forward to the tent videos I hope your dad get help to move the wood
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸. Wonderful sceneries. Nice video 🌷
Clearing trees is hard work
Wow that was a lot of trees. Your Dad got pretty lucky that it didn’t break the window.
Love ur episode on the tent that is a awesome set up u gots there keep up the great work
Great video. Wish my hubby and i had had a place like that but we always had to do the tent camping.
Great video as always Joe. You're right. Your folks cabin could have been a heck of a lot worse. Keep up the healing and ease back into it.

Glad to see you enjoying some time at the lake. Beautiful view!

Reminds me of getting into my camp always something to cut up after windstorms!

Glad your doing better. Just need to bring back polka Saturday! 😅 can't wait for the opening fishing tent video
Great video Joe,I hope you didnt over work your self to much.🤩👍👍
Joe I hope you didn't over do it.. God bless. Be safe🌹🙏❤️
Gee Joe you forgot to bring Joanie the star of the show! When Melissa sees this she gonna let you have it, chopping up trees and all.
Dont know why or how but your vids allways help when stressed and blue ty.
Good to be back at the tent!! Thanks Joe
As you were moving some of those trees I was thinking "you just got off restriction and you're going to give yourself another hernia!" Lol
Love the tent videos ❤
great video 📹, yep hopefully that's it for trees 🌳 for opening fishing
Our weather in eastern Ontario was crazy today. Ice pellets and freezing rain. I look at my poor garden and curse up a storm for a few minutes and go back inside. temp is still hanging around 25 to 30 f. This is nuts. I haven't been watching - so much stuff to do! Take care of that wound from surgery. It doesn't seem to bother you much. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Great video 👍👍 Really enjoyed watching 👍
Another great video!! Thanks, Joe!!
Joe , that was quite a work out for you. 😊
I hope you didn't over do it Joe. You really didn't have much of a choice unless you turned back. Always enjoy all your content.
Joe. I got you. 18:52
I’m like an eagle eye every time you enter the tent after an absence scanning the room..
Joe is the gate to the road new. First time been with you since 2012
It has been there as long as I have been going up there, which was around 1980.
Yeah, tent video, Joe must be almost healed!
Now take it easy for a few days, when I rehabbed after mine, my surgeon told me you've got to tear a muscle down to build it back up and you're not splitting wood, which I was. You're still healing and still need to go slow is what he said.
All the fallen trees. Be careful about your stomach. That's a lot of pulling and bending. Nice to see the tent video
What a beautiful at the tent.
Another great video !!!
Love the tent
Better get that boat registered, before Melissa gets a ticket!
I already have the new registration stickers, I just cant remember where I put them. Lol.
HEY, Beer and pork steaks in the refrig. Life is good.
You cleaned you dads place fairly good. Nice you got it cut into manageable pieces.
Enjoyed the adventure into the tent👍I look forward to opening fishing 🎣🎣
I really enjoyed the video Joe.
Look at that! A tent video...and I didnt have to wait...lol
44:47 what the animal swimming and diving, its like a water monster
That was a beaver.
Love the tent. It’s so homey
So respectful to the land great guy
We use to get permits to cut up any tree that had fallen by natural causes in Francis Marion NF (South Carolina) back in the '90s. It was a $10 saw permit. How do you obtain them now days?
I just contacted the Superior National Forest office and got the permit. 20 dollars allows you to cut 2 cords of wood, the wood has to already be on the ground of course, not live trees. 10 dollars for each additional cord. If you are just collecting for a campfire you do not need a permit.
Nothing like a nice drive in the country Joe, to get you back to your fighting weight
Awe peaceful.... away from a crazy world.
Lumberjoe bushwhacking. Don't overdo things. That was very nice of you to help out dad.
great video as usual
The tent my favorite
Joe, we sure miss Zach posting on the other channel. Hope all is well with him and family.
Sure missed you, glad you are doing well.
you are a rock star Joe
I’ve known this video was coming and with winds we’ve had Maine I knew they’d hit you all too and especially at the tent. Wondered how cutting your way in would go still relatively close to surgery. That mesh is great ! But it’ll keep ya grabassin and questing did I do too much ? For at least a couple years which is where I’m at. lol. Happy to see it wasn’t any unmanageable damage at both Places ! Take care Joe
I bet that depressed your dad a little, but you helped him a lot just by cutting it up. Work is never done, just look around. See ya next time!👍🏻
It's great to see the tent again.Chunkie jump in your lap lately. Don't forget the birds! I really enjoy your shows. Maybe it's time to plow the 2 track to the tent? Joe your show has brought a lot of entertainment...I m pretty sick but your show up at the tent and the Farm cause I had a nice 40 acres in northern Michigan. Thanks Joe...BTW my best buddy was from Kenner LA...homicide detective.
I was thinking you might be doing to much with all those downed trees. Take it easy for a few!
I'm surprised your bird friends didn't show up. They normally make a cameo when you are outside.
I saw ur pen was gone before you said it!!! Funny, Joe knows his stuff...
Good to see you on the mend Joe.
👍👍
Good cook up looks tasty Joe :) Little clean up is just a part of camping in the bush, To bad that tree took out that beautiful railing on the deck at the cabin :( The OCD keeps the tent looking awesome !
Pine needle yard is cool
Should always store small boats upside down. Otherwise, they collect rainwater, breed skeeters in the summer. Great vid!
Not if you pull the plug. I just went through double hernia surgery, overturning a boat every time I go up is NOT going to ever happen. I would have to remove the boat motor as well and that boat motor stays on that boat all the time. Winter and summer. I took it off years ago the one time to have them put an impeller in it. Nope, that boat will be staying right side up. Even if it did fill with water, it is right next to a lake that can grow all the mosquitoes it wants. Lol.
