Wow. That was beautiful. Maybe better than the record. I have to say, Chrissie is the definition of aging gracefully. I am of her era. I just heard some of her brand new Pretenders stuff, to be released this September - just as good, if not better than the 1980s, which was unreal.
Great live version sang beautifully by Chrissie Hynde. I always loved 'The Pretenders' version. The 1960's original by 'The Kinks' is good and so is the newer version sang recently by 'Sia' 👍☺️
Lovely. Being a guitar player myself, i have to say, chrissie would be quite challenging to play with. Eclectic timing ! Not that that is bad thing; in the original lineup the way pete and martin played to fit in with her timing is what gave pretenders their sound. Not forgetting jhs 's glorious iconic guitar playing.
A brilliant talent. Too bad that's she's a terrible human being. Her bad attitude towards her fans is unforgivable. She's one of those musicians that you wouldn't want to meet on a dark alley.Shall we let ourselves enjoy good music made by bad people? It's an ethical dilemma.
She still has That Voice, she's just amazing.
It doesn’t get a lot better than this.
What does she make us feel? I am looking foward to listening again and again....and the song hasn't ended yet.
A truly gorgeous song, beautifully sung by Chrissie Hynde. She's such an iconic artist!
Amazing how she nails it.Perfect.
So much trance & calm ,, beautiful 😍 love the feel of all the musicians ❤️🩹

Great Kinks cover ... u can see live version from the isle of view , Damon Albarn plays piano ... one of the greatest acoustic live performances
I watched that clip yesterday for the first time. Damon seems to storm off...
