Great 👍 help! The L -Stakes actually go IN at an angel. I bought “Suncast 40 ft resign but no directions. I live in Royse City TX near Dallas and our soil SUCKS, it’s clay and no rain here for 90 days and it’s hard to work with
Thanks, Jeff! I was wondering about the use of the L-shaped metallic fasteners. No instructions and the manufacturer's website has nothing. Through the material into the side wall makes a lot of sense. Hidden/concealed, and reliable! Thanks again!
Good garden pruners will be safer and work much better at cutting that plastic edging. Great overlaps to prevent creeping grass roots into the garden bed. Thanks
I keep the top of the flat part below soil level, with the circle right at it. You shouldn't need to go over it with your mower, but if you want to drop a wheel in the bed to save on trimming that is a risk...
Great video, very simple and informative. Great tips! What about drainage to keep from flooding the foundation when it rains? I can already see a moat with floating mulch around my house.
Depends on the job, but probably in the $1-$1.50 range - slope (goofy bends), soil type (rocks take longer) and curves (more stakes). But its not a material I usually recommend, preferring stone for durability and looks.
Abundant Design Thanks for the info. I hate installing this crap and always try to talk people out of it. I own a lawn/landscape business in Missouri. Was just curious what you charged. Thanks again
They are just Edging Stakes fro Poly Edging, sometimes they come with the pieces, and you can separately too. I get them at a local landscape supply store, box stores should have them, too.

This product no longer comes with any sort of connectors as of 11/2023. Just picked some up. Buy these separately.
Those are some insane spikes to hold the edging in place. EF-5 tornado could wipe the whole house away and the edging wouldn't move.
Ha ha, right!
Howfar apart do you put the stakes? Thanks. The video is useful

What grade of metal stakes are you using?
Do you keep the top of the edging flush with the lawn? Otherwise won't your mower blade hit the edging?

Nice job thanks for the hints. How do you do corners?
Jim W they make 90 degree L shaped pieces to make corners
Yes, you can get a 90. I usually do curves and just bend the edging around.
Thank you for this! We had no clue how the L brackets were supposed to be installed.

Can't hear you.
It's great to watch a pro who knows what he's doing. Thanks!
What do you charge per foot to install black edging?
Depends on the job, but probably in the $1-$1.50 range - slope (goofy bends), soil type (rocks take longer) and curves (more stakes). But its not a material I usually recommend, preferring stone for durability and looks.

Danke! Gut gemacht
I regret buying this plastic "dig in" liner...
Why do you regret getting that?
Where do you get the fasteners and what are they called
They are just Edging Stakes fro Poly Edging, sometimes they come with the pieces, and you can separately too. I get them at a local landscape supply store, box stores should have them, too.
Congratulation
Too much talking before any action and sound is horrible. You lost me after 1 min.
Helpful! Now mine has sunken in flush to the ground over the years, is there a way to "lift" or "pull" it up some, so it keeps the mulch in?
Thanks
