Toyota Sienta CVT service | K210 transmission fluid and filter replacement

Great video.
I just did my 2010 Sienta here in Uganda. Didn't do the filter as it had only 46,000 km, but removed the pan and cleaned the magnets. Used genuine fluid 4 lts. As you said you don't notice much of a difference in operation. But it's all about keeping the car reliable.

I have a pump and I put the tube down the fill tube and suck out a much a possible then take the pan off. It does help not making a mess.

I have the K410 Series Toyota TC CVT on a 1.0L 1KR-FE 3 cylinder engine. I did some research and found that both the K210 & K410 uses the same filter & gasket. The K410 transmission doesn't have a dip stick, but a plastic leveling tube about 2 inches inside the drain plug hole that makes it difficult to check the correct fluid level at cold and operating temperatures

Go genuine from a Toyota dealer. It's worth the extra cost.
