- This is The 1/27/1973 UCLA at Notre Dame Game. It is a color film with Radio Audio. With this win UCLA established a new all time record for consecutive wins in college basketball. They broke the record set by San Francisco when Bill Rusell played there from 1955-1957. Notre Dame had many of the cast of characters who would end UCLA's streak at 88 in 1974 but not on this day. I claim no rights.

Thanks so much for the rare opportunity to watch a young Bill Walton dominate the boards. So quick and athletic for a big man. And a class act all around. RIP Bill 🏀
This is the Walton-Wilkes UCLA at Notre Dame game where the Bruins dominated the Irish for 40 minutes, not 37 like the year that followed. This was UCLA at its best.
This is spectacular. I love your site.
Thank you very much for posting this video 🏀👌👌👌✨
Where in the hell did you get all these incredible videos, unbelievable…… thx for all of them
No three-point line, no shot clock. The olden days.
RIP Bill Walton. Have to admit I didn't care for his style as a color analyst but he was one of the greatest college hoops players of all time.
One of my all tine favorites!
OUTSTANDING ........ THANKS JESS !
Digger Phelps could win some big regular season games in 70s. He had to wait until next year to beat UCLA.
the announcer is sad.
Is that Chick Hearn?
@@brianarbenz1329 not even close. I was expecting Dick Enberg, I grew up listening to him call Bruin games every Thursday night and Saturday afternoons.
