ohh I found this thru that last solo devlog -and damn okay it looks fun and quite polished already at this early stage 'nother roguelike I'll potentially play forever
I think if you are leaning into a very stylized look like this one the sound design and visual feedback has to be on point. I also think the first shot was very weak bc the characters look stiff prob mostly bc of the green dudes cape thingy. One more thing In the first shot especially the outlines for the Characters look extremely thick even though the enemies right after look fine idk. I hope I dont sound like i am hating on this .I just want to give some feedback. ok one more thing all the Characters have this gamer back, which I thought was kinda funny.
Hey there. I'm the person who did that opening cinematic-ish bit First of all, no, you don't sound like you're hating, if anything, it's the opposite. You come with valid and constructive feedback and thank you. I just recently started learning Sequencer and back when I put that part together, I didn't know how to make cloth physics work or include VFX or SFX when making cinematics. Since then, I've learned how to fix those issues, and next footage will look better :D.
@@madyb ah ok I was wondering why there were normal cloth physics later on but not in the first part. Makes sense. Good luck hope you and your team make smth really fun.
@@madyb I also just wanted to say that I really appreciate that you show your game unfinished and unpolished like this. I think it shows that you are not trying to hide anything and it gives ppl who are trying to learn game dev a better understanding of how this works and all the processes involved. With all these big companies trying to pump out a perfect trailer just to release a buggy unfinished mess. I am hoping for an unfinished trailer(for now lol) with a perfect game. You got this.
We're heavily inspired by many other great indies, including but not limited to Risk of Rain 2 and Roboquest. We also love games like Gunfire Reborn, Crab Champions, Dead Cells, Outer Wilds, Deadlink, Ultrakill and many others and use them as our benchmarks in many different aspects. At the end of the day, we want to make a fun game, an experience people would love to play together with their friends (or solo if that's what they prefer). We hope you'll give us a chance when we release our demo and see if we're worth your time and money.

Is this coming to PS5 also?
If the release goes well yes!
risk of rain 2 meets roboquest? Seems a little blatant tbh...
