UPDATE: The top is harder to latch down due to the mattress size but, I was able to use my weight on each corner to latch it down

How well does it fold up with an 8” mattress?

The only issue I had was latching the roof down but, I climbed up and sat on each corner of the roof and it latched without any other problems. I'll have to remove the sleeping bag when I close up.
