- Ryen & I are talking about our June 2022 budget numbers! Not only do we show where our dollars went, but we also discuss if we stuck to our budget limits.
In this video, we are going over some heavy spending I had in June (thank you, sinking funds!) and Ryen gives an update on her debt payoff timeline.
What do you do with your budget after the month is over, and you’re ready to begin a new month? Most people don’t realize it, but your spending throughout the month gives you some incredibly helpful information.
One of the first steps to creating and sticking to a realistic budget is tracking your expenses. Your spending is the underlying foundation for creating a budget and ensuring that your budgets in the future are successful.
If you are not aware of where your money is going, you can’t make the best decisions for your dollars. Today, I am going to show you how to extract all of the vital information from your expense trackers using the "Where Did My Money Go?" Worksheets.

Please don’t apologize for a longer video! I enjoy the long ones more than the short and simple ones!!
Your video have helped me reach over $200,000 in stocks by age 24! Thanks budget mom. Keep the videos coming
Congrats ! I started right before Covid when the recession hit.I held those stocks and made a killing. I bought dividend stocks and made a lot during Covid.
I’m convinced that the big investors and analysts are trying to scare us to keep us poor and ignorant to the market…because its steady doing good after all the jobless and market crash talks
@@bosssss2920 thanks
@Rose When I was 20 but you need a finance pro to be successful.
@Rose here⬇️⬇️
I love you and Ryan!! I have to share- I just found you a few weeks ago! I have no debt except for my house. Dave Ramsey follower in the past- but the savings part never stuck!!
We make too much money to still be paying a mortgage and not have a ton of money on savings. You are inspiring me to be a hoarder of my money instead of shopping all the time for junk that clutters my house!! I can’t thank you enough for making budgeting make sense to me!!❤️❤️❤️
I Did the BBP method with cash for the first year and a half until I felt like I had a really good grasp on it, and then I switched over to cashless, and it has been going great!!
I live for these recap videos each month.
You thought June was busy... you ladies have alot going on in the next few months!!!
Miko, Congrats on the garden! It looks GREAT!!
Ryen, Congrats on a new debt free date! How exciting!!
I love watching the videos w Ryen!!!

Thanks Komiko and Ryen for a great video 🥰
I've been reporting them with YT. There is also someone posting as her
I’ve reported them as well
There's more lately that look like multiple users having an organic conversation, kind of tricky to spot
I love how chaty you were in this video 🤗😁 excited to see more videos 🤗
Love storytelling videos!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Hoping your Disney vacation was magical and more than you could have expected!
Waiting for a new video of yours! Miko! You taught me everything I know about money. I even taught my father how to budget like you 🤣. Thanks for sharing your journey. Following you since the beginning ❣️
Always love these videos of both of you!😍
I enjoy the longer video and more chatting about both of your lives!
I had my 1st and only child at 38, best of luck!
Congratulations on everything going on in July Miko love the stories from you both.
I completely understand you with moving into a house and something happening right afterwards. Pipe outside to the sewer busted, second day in.
Love your videos and you have encouraged me so much. I need to figure out how to get my husband totally on board and understanding what our budget is.
Really wish you had a budget planner for 2023! A spiral one
So positive! Very helpful!
you guys are so much fun, I like your videos
I love the XL pink marbled mousepad, I have the same picture set up as my phone's wallpaper. 💕
Love these tips. Hope I can start implementing them asap!!
I love all the stories in this video!
Can you imagine if the compressor blew on the day of your wedding 😱😱. Although it’s never a good time for things to break…sometimes we have to be grateful for the timing! Hope your trip is an amazing experience for James especially 🥰
Dave and Busters my favorite place in international drive in Orlando florida.
what a day for those kids at Dave and busters ... great events to come yay
Speaking of home maintenance. We just purchased a new HVAC system....$10,971. House purchase price 15 years ago... $52,000.
I love your stories
That was a lot of great news. ❤️❤️
The commute to school and back is just like most people's commute to and from work, every day, year round. You then WFH so that's nice at least, no further commuting on top of that :)
Just a note, you don’t get any bonus back on gas at Costco even with the executive membership - unless maybe you have their Citi card? With that said their prices are the best so I use them too, just don’t expect the rebate. 😊
Great video and tips! Enjoy Disney!
I remember those happy days when the diesel was around $5, These last months it has been $10 and over per gallon. 😫 I held Birthday parties for my boys up until the 10th Birthday, family birthday, and friends birthday. After that, they went out with 1-2 friends for pizza and a movie.
👏🏼 great video💜💙💜💙💜
Great collaboration video
Miko I love your nail color here 😍
Aww another baby 💕 how cute !
I did my Bachelorette party at Dave and Buster's! So much fun!
In Norway the Disel is now over 8 dollars a gallon. It cost me 1200,- norwegian krones to fill up the tank, thats about 120 dollars.
Could Ryan do a video on how she does the cashless process throughout the month?
Miko, great idea to also invite the parents. Not so easy to handle 11 boys 😂😂😂 (I am mom of a 10 yo).
Watch you all the time, great info. You mention things for vacation free from a rewards card. How are you debt free with no line item then for a credit card payment?
Love the video BM do you have any ideas to help someone who is older and on social security benefits? I have a long story to tell.
AMEN to the no commute for school - awesome FREEDOM ...enjoy these times they grow up waYYYYY to fast - glenda
I'm super curious if Chris was budgeting and doing cash envelopes before he met you or if that's something you taught him? Does he stick to it? My significant other is horrible with money and it's hard to just get him to sit down and talk about our budget. 😔
We had a Samsung that pretty much sucked after just 2 years. I was told by a repairman to avoid LG & Samsungs so I replaced our Samsung with a GE recently and hoping it lasts for over a decade!!!
Hi! I was just wondering when the budget workbook will be back?
I’ve been saving to get it and finally had enough today…. And there none available 😔
I do mine without cash. Only cash I have is bus fare (travel). It is so easy. I found using cash was a no no. No control. With the different expense accounts I am able to use my cards. Not credit cards. I save quite a sum during the month. So you can do it with out cash.
Where do you open those accounts?
I don't use cash it runs away. I do 1 cc with points & use those points for "fun"
@@katietucker8202 Capital One 360 lets you open multiple accounts and you can do cashless envelopes that way.
Does ryen do her own budgeting videos?
Sooo I combine paychecks with my fiancé. How would I track my monthly spending? For example, our first paycheck in June was June 2nd, but our first paycheck in July isn’t until July 14th. So would my “June” month be from June 2nd-July 13th? It’s very confusing when doing the Where Did My Money Go Worksheets. Please help!
Welcome to my beautiful city of Denver. Born and raised and still here. Come back anytime. If you want places to see next time let me know.
When will the budget by paycheck workbook, restock?
You shld call LG mine happened three weeks ago and is a 2019 model but is was covered. I did have to pay labor. Just in case u had to pay for full repair.
When will the workbook be available?
So do both you and Chris follow your same budgeting system?
😱😱Try living in Los Angeles, California where gas is $7.10 per gallon ⛽️
Unleaded petrol near me in the UK is $10.73 per gallon right now (£1.94 per litre) 😒
I am the same, I have a fear of 40
maybe I'm slow but how do we go follow Ryen? I can't find her tagged on here.
If you are a cash user, how do you use a credit card in your life to get the rewards?
I believe it is a cc for her business
Will there be new physical budget by paycheck planners in 2023??
No new physical copies, only a new PDF version. There are still last year's designs available. 👍😊
Yes and no. The new physical copies will come out in October 2023. Until then you can purchase the undated physical copies that were released in 2021 or the printable. They just released a printable and you can still purchase printables from other years.
@@dsimone3720 thank you! Good to know! I just purchased the box set in May and started to use it in June so I’m thinking maybe I should consider buying the paintstroke bbp workbook or I guess I could just print the worksheets I need for 4 months next year until the new releases.
@@laurab4570 ah I get your dilemma! I started using the paint stroke in November 2021. I ordered the box set a few months ago on a deep sale when I realized there wasn’t going to be a new physical copy released this year.
I considered the printable too but since they will have already released the new one by the time my 2023 boxset ends I will wait. Plus-I’m not sold on the printable since it has so many of the decorative pages that are attached and I just can’t imagine how much ink that will take or even how much that will cost to print at a office supply store.
Lastly, not sure when they are releasing it but they said they are launching an Budget by Paycheck Excel Spreadsheet. I’m sure it will be of interest to some folks. Paper works best for me right now.
Yeah same, I ordered another copy of the spiral bound book so that I have it for 2023
Hi there am new to this and I would love to purchase ur budget book is it on Amazon
I’m pretty sure it is only available through her online store, but honestly it’s pretty affordable, especially because there are free versions of the worksheets that you can print out for free at your local library!!!
I prefer to buy the spiral bound workbook so everything is included, but you do not need to buy anything to get started with Miko’s method! 💵
@@rachelgilbert3164 thank u 💓
must have been United
How do I budget with a income of 1600.00 monthly
Same
Any ideas 💡
The start is always the same, you need to list all your expenses and observe how much you spend for variable expenses. Then see if you can cut or lower some expenses.
Can relate. €1485 here. And I live alone. Wonder what these ladies do to make such a great income.
@@Dutch_Gonneke I'm in Europe too, but if you watch other budgets, just housing price are crazy in the us so the incomes tend to be a little higher. Miko is only earning from TBM and same for Ryen who is her employee.
Compressor issues with lg are common. People who are reading this. Stay away from lg and Samsung appliances. Samsung is new to the game and their items suck bad. So bad the parts suppliers don’t carry their products often . Stick with the tried and true Frigidaire kitchenaid kenmore etc . Just go higher end in those if you want the fanciness . TVs In fridges look cool but what good are they if your fridge can’t do it’s actual job
Even with the economic fluctuation, I am very excited to have earned $45,000 on my $10,000 investment every 10 days.
How! I know it’s possible, my sister get 40k every week, I would appreciate if you show me how to go about it.
My financial life has completely changed all thanks to Mrs Angela Cole carr awesome trading strategies.

right especially since 4th meat sales will still be available for BBQ
10 is a lot of kids...and once parents are invited too, siblings will certainly pop up at the party too.😀
Please someone come delete Amazon prime off my phone! 😂 it's robbing me every month
