  • Ryen & I are talking about our June 2022 budget numbers! Not only do we show where our dollars went, but we also discuss if we stuck to our budget limits.
    In this video, we are going over some heavy spending I had in June (thank you, sinking funds!) and Ryen gives an update on her debt payoff timeline.
    What do you do with your budget after the month is over, and you’re ready to begin a new month? Most people don’t realize it, but your spending throughout the month gives you some incredibly helpful information.
    One of the first steps to creating and sticking to a realistic budget is tracking your expenses. Your spending is the underlying foundation for creating a budget and ensuring that your budgets in the future are successful.
    If you are not aware of where your money is going, you can’t make the best decisions for your dollars. Today, I am going to show you how to extract all of the vital information from your expense trackers using the "Where Did My Money Go?" Worksheets.

    I love you and Ryan!! I have to share- I just found you a few weeks ago! I have no debt except for my house. Dave Ramsey follower in the past- but the savings part never stuck!!
    We make too much money to still be paying a mortgage and not have a ton of money on savings. You are inspiring me to be a hoarder of my money instead of shopping all the time for junk that clutters my house!! I can’t thank you enough for making budgeting make sense to me!!❤️❤️❤️

      @dsimone3720 2 роки тому +1

      Yes and no. The new physical copies will come out in October 2023. Until then you can purchase the undated physical copies that were released in 2021 or the printable. They just released a printable and you can still purchase printables from other years.

      @@dsimone3720 thank you! Good to know! I just purchased the box set in May and started to use it in June so I’m thinking maybe I should consider buying the paintstroke bbp workbook or I guess I could just print the worksheets I need for 4 months next year until the new releases.

    • @dsimone3720
      @dsimone3720 2 роки тому +1

      @@laurab4570 ah I get your dilemma! I started using the paint stroke in November 2021. I ordered the box set a few months ago on a deep sale when I realized there wasn’t going to be a new physical copy released this year.
      I considered the printable too but since they will have already released the new one by the time my 2023 boxset ends I will wait. Plus-I’m not sold on the printable since it has so many of the decorative pages that are attached and I just can’t imagine how much ink that will take or even how much that will cost to print at a office supply store.
      Lastly, not sure when they are releasing it but they said they are launching an Budget by Paycheck Excel Spreadsheet. I’m sure it will be of interest to some folks. Paper works best for me right now.
