I miss your UA-cam videos that are frequently shared, like the old days when you first started the journey. They helped me so much more than random videos when you post. What I am trying to say is I miss seeing your videos on UA-cam.
All her videos are so beyond helpful. We can always go back and rewatch all of them from the beginning when she first started all the way to now. She shares some of them randomly when she get repeated questions in certain areas.
So glad you filmed this series on closing out month after tracking. It helped answer how you handle your envelopes with totals and balances on the pages.
I LOVE this! Can you do this more often?? This is so helpful! I save my receipts for EVERYTHING and I paperclip them together with the date written on them.
I devide my food budget by the weeks of the month and have an envelope for each week. So I avoid overspending my food budget and having enough left until the end of the month.
Wise. I do the same thing but break it further to one envelope for essentials and the rest for regular groceries because I know there a few things (essential) that I obsolutely can not do without. I has worked very well for me.
Miko, thank you. I can never have this shown too many times; I have my expense trackers up to date every morning over my tea; but I sometimes forget to add the occasional inflow (a small lottery win for example). I see now how important it is for accuracy, and will endeavour to track them and not mindlessly spend the $10 or $15 dollars. So helpful always.
LOVED this step by step breakdown! I normally just do a basic close out because it seems overwhelming. But this truly helped and simplified the process!!! Can't wait to try out a more detailed close out this month!!
I also do a first to last day of the month tracking period. Although I really love the beginning and creating my budget, closing out my month is so fun for me. I think because it’s a little challenging to get everything balanced sometimes. I don’t usually track daily but I always plan to. I’ll catch up today and try to do it every day for the rest of the month.
Thank you very very much. Just yesterday I sat there and asked myself, if I am filling in the pages in the right way. This video helped me very much. Could you do another video, where you explain how to fill in the pages: Debt Payment Plan and the Monthly Network Tracker? I'm m a single mum from Munich, Germany. My son is six. When I became a single mum over 3 years ago, your videos helped me essentially to learn how to create my budget and track it. Although I am still learning, I am getting better every month. I was able to pay off €16,000 in debt. Only €3,000 are left. You helped me more than you can ever imagine. Being a single mum yourself a couple of years ago, you helped me to believe in myself to be able to do this and get rid of my debt. All my best wishes to you and your family. 💜
Hey Miko Love the recaps. I love when you show the step by step. I closed out my budgets for January and February, but didn't complete the WDMMG worksheets, until now. I did with your video showing the step by step and it always feels EASIER doing it with your video on. LOL Thanks for doing a new one of these 'live' recaps. I loved them on IG before. 💙💜💙
Thank you so much. This was super helpful. I love the comparisons and identifying if I’m really working towards my goals. I actually use the budget sheets for my side business and it has been an eye opener…. Thank you!!!!
God bless you Jazmine for working to create this video for us on Christmas Eve! You’re a real inspiration! I just found your channel today, but I am subscribed and will be following along on your debt payoff journey as I am just beginning mine. Best of luck to us all! ❤
I love this I colour green for good red for bad if I'm over in savings its green and over in say food that would be red so I know areas to address etc.
That was really helpful. Thank you. I'm sure it is an obvious thing, but I don't get on the cash expense tracker how it has a zero stating balance, yet there is spending/withdrawals listed.
Thank you for this video. Closing out my first month of tracking. Are my “debt categories” my different debts that we’re paying off (i.e. credit cards, student loans, car payments?) Thank you!
Hello, thank you. This video was really helpful. I have a question. I know you and your husband do your money separately, but I was wondering if he uses your budgeting workbook also?
Hello I was wondering did you write the cushion 200 deduction on the actual expense tracker? Thank you so much for this information, I am loving my bbp and lrp
Is the 'Savings Used' category inflow, based on Sinking Funds that were used for that month/pay period? or is this money being saved towards your specific sinking fund(s)?
Okay, here's a question: Today my husband and I decided to take some money out of our savings account (only a measly 1% interest rate) and move it into a 5% CD for 6 months. I have in the past only been tracking MY spending (cash, checking and credit cards - we are completely debt free so I charge things and pay them off each month). My net worth page is combined for my husband and me for retirement/tracking purposes. I was not tracking savings or savings interest outside of my single sinking funds savings account. How do I show this? I started an expense tracker for savings, but now September shows this giant $100K+ inflow which technically isn't money coming in... Then I showed a $25K deduction for my CD and tracked it on the debt/investment page. Should I have done this? Or since I wasn't tracking it anyway, should I just make the adjustments on my net worth page (less savings, more CDs)?
Could you offer the printable BBP-Workbook also fitting to the paper size DIN A4. So it would fit better on the European paper size, the tables would be taller and there would not be so much space left over on the page.
Are you willing to review your investment in a little more detail? I’ve been watching some info on it on other channels but am not sure on how to choose a brokerage account and how it works…
What if you are paid on the 27th and that pay check is applied to the next month's bills/ funds do you track from your first paycheck of the month till the 26th? Begin a new budget on the 27th?
Can you help me to see why I need to track daily if I stay within my envelope amounts? Say I have $200 for food for my tracking period and at the end of the tracking period I have $50 left. I know I spent $150. Does it matter that I know where and when I spent the $150? I love your method and it's changed my life and my marriage but I struggle with the tracking daily because my mind tells me things like this! Can you help me change my ways!!!?
This is my first month attempting to track and close out the budget. What do I do if I’m closing out on the middle of a pay period and I have cash that I’m still using for the week? How do I put that in the tracker or wdmmg worksheet?
I do this as well, because I get paid on the 15th. The cash you do not spend gets rolled over into your "starting balance" for the next tracking period. Hope that helps! 😊
I have to get a new car because my old one died and mechanic said to sell it and buy something else because it’s not worth fixing 😢. How do you decide what to get? I’m ok with a payment for the next 4 years but I will pay it off in 2 years. Is this ok?
You miscalculated your variable (budget) expenses your total left was $1872 and not $1961 i know that it’s the budget section bud right is right 🤣🙈 Also where did you put your pet fund it’s not showing in your sinking funds 🤔 And you do not include your savings inflow in the savings breakdown, but you do include it in the debt/investments section. Why? 🤔

Have you done a video where you show how your husband and you split finances? That would be so helpful!
Miko, thank you. This information completely changes my life. I hope the Lord blesses you and your family. Your help is priceless. 🧡
Accounting lessons 101 love it!

Hey Vera, do you know where can we buy this notebook?
I buy the printable version in Kumikos online shop an print it at home.
Love this recap method. Thank you!!!

Thank you for giving us the break down. It is TRULY appreciated! Hope you can do it often.
Thank you for making this video
Such a useful step by step, thank you for sharing this. X
Hey Miko!
Love this walk through!
I appreciate that you discuss how to use "monthly tracking" when you are utilizing the budget by paycheck method.
Thank you so much. This was super helpful. I love the comparisons and identifying if I’m really working towards my goals. I actually use the budget sheets for my side business and it has been an eye opener…. Thank you!!!!
Way to go am doing the same thing. Keep going you got this. I am trying to get out of 140K debit.
Thank you! I love that I can start to fill out some of these things as the month goes on.
Thank you for going thru this process step by step- I appreciate it!
Love this. Only thing I do differently is I round down for income and up for expenses.
I love this. Thank you!
Loved watching you do this! Thanks, Miko! ❤
I understand this much better now! Thanks Miko
Thanks for this Miko! I'll watch it again this afternoon and go step-by-step to close out my last tracking period. ❤
God bless you Jazmine for working to create this video for us on Christmas Eve! You’re a real inspiration! I just found your channel today, but I am subscribed and will be following along on your debt payoff journey as I am just beginning mine. Best of luck to us all! ❤
whos Jazmine?
Thank you for this video!! I found this a lot more valuable than your normal budget recaps.
Thank you so much for doing this step by step breakdown. It was so informative and helpful. Great video.
this was SO helpful! Thanks Miko 💝
Thank you so much for this! I am starting this month so this has been very helpful.
I love this I colour green for good red for bad if I'm over in savings its green and over in say food that would be red so I know areas to address etc.
Thank you for this!!!😊
wooww this is sooo amazing, thank you MIKO
Baby fund. How exciting!
That was really helpful. Thank you.
I'm sure it is an obvious thing, but I don't get on the cash expense tracker how it has a zero stating balance, yet there is spending/withdrawals listed.
Good job as usual !
Thank you for the break down!! By the way, what kind of pen were you using?? Your handwriting is beautiful!!
Thank you for the video Miko! What pen are you using? It looks like it writes so smoothly!
Why do you count in your "Savings Used" when you calculate your "Investment" / "Debt" in the monthly breakdown? 🤔
Thank you for this video. Closing out my first month of tracking. Are my “debt categories” my different debts that we’re paying off (i.e. credit cards, student loans, car payments?) Thank you!
When doing the investment tracker, do you include Retirement/HSA accounts that come out of your Paycheck? Do those get tracked?
New subscriber here.
Love this video.
This is so nice! Where Can I get this notebook I would like to improve with my budget tracker and loved this video❤

Ok. Question: does the cash that you track?, are the cash envelopes that you budgeted? I am stuck on this two pages of cash and checking (debit card)
So on the Valentines deposit on the cash envelope does that mean you spent that money or you out it into your checking account
Could you offer the printable BBP-Workbook also fitting to the paper size DIN A4. So it would fit better on the European paper size, the tables would be taller and there would not be so much space left over on the page.
Do you put your bills tgat come out of your checking account on your expense tracker ?
Hi Miko 👋 As a fellow small business owner, can I ask if the wages you pay yourself each month is influenced by tax bands? Thank you 🙏
What category do you count clothes for yourself or personal spending for yourself?
I wish you would do a video on the investments that you do, I’m trying to get into investing and learning this is like a foreign language to me
Are you willing to review your investment in a little more detail? I’ve been watching some info on it on other channels but am not sure on how to choose a brokerage account and how it works…
What if you are paid on the 27th and that pay check is applied to the next month's bills/ funds do you track from your first paycheck of the month till the 26th? Begin a new budget on the 27th?
Where did you get that calendar from?
How do I track the rollover cash from one envelope to the next for the upcoming month?
Can you help me to see why I need to track daily if I stay within my envelope amounts? Say I have $200 for food for my tracking period and at the end of the tracking period I have $50 left. I know I spent $150. Does it matter that I know where and when I spent the $150? I get so lost with this and the sinking funds.
This is my first month attempting to track and close out the budget. What do I do if I’m closing out on the middle of a pay period and I have cash that I’m still using for the week? How do I put that in the tracker or wdmmg worksheet?
Also how do you track money in savings account? Does it go in with your starting balance?
I do this as well, because I get paid on the 15th. The cash you do not spend gets rolled over into your "starting balance" for the next tracking period. Hope that helps! 😊
You use a different tracker sheet for each different account: i.e. cash, checking, savings account, or each separate credit card. 👍
Where can I get those pens❤
I have to get a new car because my old one died and mechanic said to sell it and buy something else because it’s not worth fixing 😢. How do you decide what to get? I’m ok with a payment for the next 4 years but I will pay it off in 2 years. Is this ok?
Miko doesn't subscribe to the "no debt" principle. It's how you determine to tackle the debt that matters. Sounds like you have a plan!
You miscalculated your variable (budget) expenses your total left was $1872 and not $1961 i know that it’s the budget section bud right is right 🤣🙈
Also where did you put your pet fund it’s not showing in your sinking funds 🤔
And you do not include your savings inflow in the savings breakdown, but you do include it in the debt/investments section. Why? 🤔
I can’t believe how much cash you have leftover in your envelopes. I literally spend all of mine .. usually. Most of yours you didn’t spend any!
So absolutely confused
