The team is definitely STACKED. I can only imagine what this thing will look like.
We learned something from the interview. The team is stacked and the MMO is not dead like some people keep saying.
Agree!
Yetter has pitched more MMOs than Riot has released games.
Always coming in hot with updates, keeping all us with no time to research, up to date on things. Hopefully it develops fast so there’s a new game to play ASAP
You are my hot take
I hope this crew will become the cult of personality that we associate with WoW and league. Might be unhealthily phrased, but I do think that the community having some sort of parasocial relationship has been one of the more wholesome aspects of successful games. Certainly it involves that they listen to us, rather than strongmanning their ideas. I’m probably naïve, but I can’t help being excited for the point when they can talk freely about stuff
yes we already have the same thing with mortdog and tft. it'd be nice if that was the case with the mmo too
Hopium overdose for news soon
i had my worries about the executive producer but i think he has a grasp of the general idea
The more we hear the better!
I just watched your other video
Great timing!
The game is probably closer to release than people think based on multiple people signing NDA's recently.
I needed to get my daily fill of Riot MMO talk so I’m listening to this video yet again…
😬
Do you have a vid explaining what game director and stuff does>?
Oheyspun, i am surprised you didn't pick up on the secret factions/race artwork off camera. This just proves that they are doing something unique
Hey man - I tried to check all the reflections and everything haha
@@oheyspun I tried to piece it together based on what they are saying and their discrete reactions when Necrit or someone else mentions something + what Necrit said in the stream afterwards (basically saying that if we listen and watch closely we might be able to know what it is, dunno if you saw that clip). I think it's a list of races/factions based on geneology/lineage that the player decides on, and that there is a quickplay mode that allows you to only do raids from history that then bolsters your main character who descends from these historical raid champions and inherits perks/abilities/appearence which is detailed and shown off screen. You can tell from Necrit's constant staring that it is clearly very detailed, and is not just a MMO skin or something. He is glued to looking at it the whole time.
Can't believe you don't have over 500k subs. I'm guilty, just like your sub/no sub charts says, I was one of them not long ago. But after subbing, I realized that I've watched pretty much all of your videos. Keep the content! Best riot mmo source for sure, and I love the video quality.
Wow, thank you! It's a grind though, only getting started!
Running dry on copium. Hope the next stock comes really soon!
Me too. Me too.
Asnongold was at riot HQ an week before necrit
Yup unfortunately whatever he did was under so much NDA that we can't even hear anything about it ;(
I like the video! :) This will be my 7th time watching the interview!
You may need to seek professional help.
will it be mentioned this sept before worlds?
who knows if they even have 5% of it done
i’m calling 80-85% done
Vijay seems kinda not too bad
Vijay is kind of a chad. And honestly the more I hear about him the more I think he will do a great job directing the ship.
@@oheyspun Do you think he is better than Ghostcrawler
I think they are very different. Hard to compare. Both have their strengths.
im hyped bruh, im hyped
Hold your horses...
There will be partly random generated dungeons
Its weird that he doesnt have a twitter page
He actually does. But its only likes. No replies or posts.
@@oheyspun sorry for misinformation I actually only saw that fitness guru when I searched for him on twitter.
The way they say that the “long term plan” is to have the entire world in the game makes me think the launch will have a limited number of regions.
My pessimistic take is they have Ionia, Noxus, Demacia, and Piltover and Zaun all fully in the game, with other regions coming with more updates.
I think it greatly depends on if they go fully seamless open world, and the scale they choose to work at.
Yeah the northern isle is probably the main focus. I would have said primary Demacia and Noxus a few years back because it's a conflict zone, with a lot of characters and lore to use and the environment is relatively "neutral". A desert/jungle/ice biome would be weird for a base game. And with Arcane being so successful i can't imagine them passing on Piltover/Zaun, besides i see them doing a launch somewhere around an Arcane season for a full hype effect.
For me the main question mark is about Ionia and Freljord. Ionia being a huge part of the lore but on the other hand it's a remote area... Freljord seems less important but it's still on the northern continent so who knows.
I'm also curious how they will use Bilgewater and Shadow Isles, it's very small. Bilgewater could perfectly fill the role of a starting area.
🥳🤯🥳
see you in 2030.
i feel like it gonna be another failure mmorpg game due to people can't get over WoW and they want to make things different but yet again can't make it better.
