Nice to know I am not the only one who makes mistakes when I sew. I have to really concentrate on everything.
A little knit bolero or short cropped cardigan in DK weight in green or a cream color with sleeves that are just above the elbow or 3/4 sleeves would be adorable with your new dress. It could be worn on a cooler evening or day and would allow you to wear your dress more. I would think you could find a pattern on Ravelry. Your dress get a big thumbs up from me. 👍

It came out so great! Love the fabric for this dress. Thank you for sharing the parts that don't go as planned. I'm newer at sewing and most patterns are difficult still. It helps to know experienced sewers have mistakes too. Wonderful video and loved the music.

I almost never can sew a pattern the first time with no major issues! I always make a mockup. You made me nervous but it turned out beautifully!!

So beautiful. I think we’ve all done that with our cutting. Last summer I did it with a dress. The flowers were so small only I could really tell they were upside down so I just wear it around the house

The dress fits you perfectly. Great choice of fabric to pattern. I was at Joann's this week also and wanted cotton floral fabric to make a dress but they had very little to choose from. Dissapointing. So hard to find good fabric. I wanted eyelet too but didn't want white and they had mostly white. Oh well.
Your dress is so pretty!! Of course you look lovely in it!! JoAnn's has filed for bankruptcy and I sure hope they do pull out of it we won't have any fabric options at all near by!
