I really can never tell where you are gonna go with the channel next. Maybe underwater basket weaving? Obscure Canadian bank note technology? Soviet space based weaponry of the 80s? I’m here for all of it

I mean, the Soviets did have potential for a cool space weapon if they hadn't launched it upside down 😂

Can you imagine just how valuable one of your head lamps would have been to the miners of yesteryear ago? It's still amazing how dark it gets when you move away from the lights.

Carbide lamps are pretty decent, I have a video testing some of those. But before that it was all lanterns and candles, definitely hard to see much!

Even the carbide lamps feel too risky for me 😂

You'll have to bring one of your cats to Sandland.
    1. Bring cat.
    2. Make cat tracks.
    3. Be very patient.

They could just make plaster imprints and date them as well. Place the imprints in sandland

What a beautiful and large cave, it's interesting to see the animals living there. Thank you for taking the trash with you, it doesn't belong in such an impressive place. Many thanks for taking us along and showing us this impressive location.

Imagine being a tiny itty bitty blind cave fishy and a giant monkey comes in with a radiation throwing device, making lots of mouth noises 😂😂 The fish is trippin balls

Cool. First cave I was in was in the Schwäbische Alb. It’s been quite a while. They had humongous 🐻 skeletons on display. Was later in a few small caves elsewhere as well. Caves are primal.

It’s mind boggling that the paw prints of the sabretooth are well preserved after so many years. Like the beast was here just yesterday!!

I remember swimming in a Cenote in Mexico over a decade ago. It was a very deep one, and a cave fish came up from below to check us out. Very very prehistoric looking, big teeth, not friendly-looking at all.....

Wow, this was really interesting - it looks quite scary if I'm completely honest, but its so glad to see that this kind of fun thing is happening - everything seems so 'health and saftey' and people / companys scared of getting sued these days, good to see some nice, albeit slightly scary, adventuring !

If you get the chance I would highly recommend touring "marvel cave" at silver dollar city. I think you might? have to buy tickets to the park but the cave tour alone is amazing. A bit shorter than what you just went through but the opening room is enormous. Also the ride "time traveler" is pretty fun. And theres also a great knife shop. Most theme parks confiscate your knives at the gate lol

As a younger man, I used to go to Kentucky and Tennessee to go spelunking. It began with an Ohio State University Phys Ed class called Beginning Spelunking, or something like that. Also too the next one maybe "Spelunking II," an overnight camp at Sloan's Valley Cave, which we returned to more than twice... Afterwards my non-college buddies and my classmates revisited the caves, with a different agenda, and a different proclivity for chemical intervention into consciousness, but certainly no less spectacular results if you can believe it. IN fact there are some moments burned into my brain that are like yesterday when I look back on them. Luckily we didn't die. No one even freaked out. Not recommended. Level 20+ only. Always have three light sources, etc. Be sure to look it up if you decide to go down a hole... You are ultimately responsible for you...

Amazing tour. Something really special about places that formed so long ago that you can literally see traces leftover from ancient animals. Crazy to think of how long the place has existed with barely any change. Also to see animals that show signs of having lived for generations, becoming white and losing their need for eyes.

Very nice cave system. The last caves I visited were the Luray Caverns. VERY touristy. When I was a kid we'd explore the cave systems near the Kelso conservation area outside of Toronto. So very long ago. The stalactites are twice the size now :)

I thought I was on the right track. I thought the map I found was accurate. But no it wasn’t sandland. I navigated to Missouri. There was a group like me living and making do underground. The lime stone is the best filter for radioactive isotopes. It’s safer down in the earth than on the surface. I stayed for three moons and left to continue the journey to sandland. I have to go north from here to get to what used to be called Wisconsin. I wonder how the driftless will look. Any ways good luck be safe I’m off to find SANDLAND
