You are just a gold mine of tips, tricks, and hacks❣ I didn't know about the avocado seeds helping to prevent the other avo's in the bag from going bad 😃 And I'm slways trying to decrease the amount of dirty dishes so making the marinara in the can is genius! I can always count on you to make me smile, you're just unapologetically real and down to earth, I love it🥰
You are so fun to watch! I always feel like I’ve been to a party after I have watched, learned and giggled through your videos! Thanks for being so “real”! I hope all your friends will appreciate your hard work and the kids as well. Way back when I was much younger I remember getting together with friends of all ages to learn to square dance and that was fun and everyone seemed to enjoy, as well as learning at the same time. It’s good fun and gets folks used to having a good time with all ages instead of always keeping in groups of only the same age. Really can have a good time while widening out our love to include everyone. Thanks for prepping with all of us watching! See you next video!
In the winter we would host the preteens. We had 3 games going at all the time. Set Timer. Their game would end. They would rotate and go to the next game. I had more fun than the kids. I would cook for 2 days to get ready for starving preteens. I LOVED IT. We also had a raffle. each kid got a ticket when they came in. Before the end of the night, we would draw 3 tickets of door prizes. Other parents were so supportive with furnishing gift cards and prizes for the drawing. The most we had were 31 kids and parents.
My son in law bought a projector and they gather around their fire pit and watch home movies, videos and football games on the back side of their garage. They love it!
Your doing a great job on time management! Give yourself grace! Pro tip for like not having a commercial kitchen with multiple ovens… cook your foods and store them in a towel lined cooler to hold them at a warm temp while you cook the other items! Works every time!
Grew up going to youth, I ended up in Florida cause old youth pastor was there. Then hubby was a youth pastor for 13 yeaars! :) great memories. Glad the cold snap is over for now!
When I was in youth group we did place and that was pretty fun. And we did car washes to raise mean. We're different trips and peak sales. It was all a blast.❤❤❤🎉
I'm 73 and I entertained a lot For my husband 's event and my son's happening. My be aids were of course several crock pots and the secret was a Hamilton Beach roaster they still make them today. Mine had several racks you could place inside to cook or keep warm several things at one time.
You are a force in the kitchen. I admire your knowledge of cooking & just throwing things together without measuring. You really know how to cook. Love your videos
I will make the meatball sliders for our Super Bowl party. Makes my heart happy that you are involved in your church youth group. When our boys were young, we enjoyed having the youth over to our house.
We made the Buffalo Chicken Chili from the 3 Chili Recipes video you posted in November. It is one of the best soups I have ever tasted! You are an amazing cook!
Thank you for the great recipes. Our family grew up in church, my husband and I and our kids. Our kids loved game nights and bon fires and we always did a Christmas play and helped with Bible school. Movies were also a big hit.❤
I need to add the quesadillas to my line up for youth activities!! Our church is right by our high school football field and for home games we do 5th Quarter at the church for the kids. Food, games and a message. And I may laugh that you’re so cold in the 20s but you’d laugh that 80 seems HOT to me 😂😂 thanks for sharing your yummy food!
I'm here for all the delicious appetizer recipes. I loved going to church camp with my friends from church. One year, I had a very scary accident. I got stung by jellyfish and had to have them pulled off me. They wouldn't stop stinging me.
Myself and my brothers, then my daughter grew up in church. We had all kinds of activities that my folks and other parents hosted and led for our youth group and then later with my daughter. I also later worked with the kids.
A couple of suggestions that you may or may not have thought of… The quesadillas: I think it would be easier instead of folding them and worrying about whether or not they are going to stay folded, spread the chicken and cheese over the entire tortilla and then top it with another and cut it into quarters after it’s baked. With the meatball subs, instead of slicing the rolls in half I’ve seen people hollow out a hole from the top and put a little cheese and then marinara and then your meatball and then more marinara and then more cheese so instead of it being a slider it’s more of a meatball sub cup, if you will. I find that they are much easier to handle. You could either put that little round of bread that you hollowed out back on top of the meatball and then brush it with the butter and garlic or just leave it open and use the extra bread for croutons or breadcrumbs or something like that. Everything looks great! Hope you had a great time with the kids!
I always wash off the outside of the avocados before cutting into them otherwise whatever is on the outside skin gets cut into the inside!! Can't believe you don't do that considering how clean you are at eating.
She did mention in the video that she probably should have doubled that recipe, but I agree that with all that food plus not everyone is going to want buffalo chicken dip, it surely was plenty.

I love that you feel like you've been hanging out with me after watching! That's my goal!

The last time I made meatballs, I used Frank's Buffalo wing sauce and apricot preserves. They were amazing!
We had meatball in crockpot the other day and used cranberry sauce instead of grape jelly. It was very good.
OOo! I think I would really like that.
My son in law bought a projector and they gather around their fire pit and watch home movies, videos and football games on the back side of their garage. They love it!

Ooh I LOVE that tip! Absolutely going to use that one.

I love that! Youth group is such a fun time.
Oh my gosh.. you are exactly me in the kitchen. I never know where I put anything. lol So glad to see I’m not alone! 😂❤
Right?! 😂 It’s a real struggle sometimes!

I love these ideas!! Great suggestions
Fun video. Stay blessed.
Thanks! You too!
I use orange marmalade instead of grape jelly
Oh good idea!
TFS, everythings look good
I'm so glad you liked them!
cranberry sauce and chili sauce or BBQ sauce mix well for meatballs ;)
Ooo! I love a good meatball hack!
cool
What size food processor do you have? It looks nice!
I gotta try that meatball sliders,...btw, you need an apron. 😉
I always wash off the outside of the avocados before cutting into them otherwise whatever is on the outside skin gets cut into the inside!! Can't believe you don't do that considering how clean you are at eating.
I have a projector we used in church. Not using it. No one wants it here. We should figure out how I can get it to you! I’d donate it
How could that little bit of chicken dip? Be enough for 25 people no way
Because there also was sliders, quesadillas, meatballs and chips🤗 plenty for everyone
Exactly! Plenty with everything we had.
Plus not everyone will want that dip
Love the real life. Have fun
She did mention in the video that she probably should have doubled that recipe, but I agree that with all that food plus not everyone is going to want buffalo chicken dip, it surely was plenty.
Fine Arts? Assembly Of God?
Yes ma'am! We love fine arts.
