Still.....women(include all those who identify themselves feminine)fear to walk through the roads of India. Beauty pageants are good..but it shouldn't shift our focus from the reality. Indian women still need a long way to go, from equal payscale to zero dowry to live safely without rape threats and catcalls....India needs a long way to go. The society should give importance to ensuring safety and independence for our women and girls.

i had india as second. she was great. the top 2 were clear from the start.
miss Philippines was robbed. the only reason she didnt advance to top 2 was because of that question she got. it was the hardest one. and even more unfair because of the republican conservative judges who are against vaccines.

I think India’s answer was the most compelling and convincing response to the question. Plus + Harnaaz delivered it with so much conviction and belief in herself just like what she had advised in her statement.

Hands down, this final round was India’s. South Africa gave a nice cerebral answer but that personal attachment or ownership was missing. Paraguay was pushing it with heart but the mind fell short. But she did personalise her answer. India’s was out and out relatable, clear and to the point. Self belief indeed is the key.
India gave a perfect balance of heart and mind while giving passion which is why she won the other 2 fell short on their answers
South Africa gave the perfect answer, unique and to the point.

She's an expert on stage, been in 4 pageants in her country and is a an actress. That's a lot of experience exposure which would enable anyone to project confidence. She is the complete package to be Miss Universe ❤. I think we haven't had this type of Miss universe in a long time and she will leave her footsteps behind. She was born to become Miss Universe.

All three did superbly but the body language and how the way they delivered mattered in most.
India didn't glitch even a bit and she was the calmest, Paraguay too , SA looked here n there while speaking about 'courage' and there is the result.! 💫

I'm a men and i find her answer so empowering. The social pressure on young women & men might be different to some extent but the message was on point becuz regardless of gender most of us have been in a hard situations and faced pressures and those problems are faced by most of us in general, the youth. Her answer was full of encouragement & positivity plus the confidence & conviction of her statement made her win.

Miss Universe has regained its respect by announcing the correct Queen, which is India. I am from Philippines and as far as Bea didn't make it to Top 3, we know that India has it all qualities of a Miss universe.

I'm not saying that the others were original (they had few seconds so they did great considering that) but India's was the one that you hear influencers/celebrities saying the most: "you just have to believe in yourself" and stuff like that, didn't really convey anything to me personally :/

Believe in yourself might sound cliche but thats what she's advising us becuz its related to her life experiences and she wants us to apply the same like she did. She participated in Miss india 2019 and failed to enter top 5 and she came back this year more strong and during her Miss Diva journey there are some people who criticise and doubted her saying she was not Miss U material she fits in Miss world/ International but becuz of her self belief and passion she won Miss Diva and now Miss Universe.
