    Great review, I recently bought a 777 pre-owned in Mint condition for 200usd. It's by far my favorite everyday watch, tough, good-looking and fits flat on my wrist. For what you get there is no better bang for buck.

    Pick this piece up about 4 Months ago and I really am happy with it. I utilize it as my weekend beater while I use the SBDC 053 on a bracelet as my everyday watch . The accuracy on 777 is currently -8.5 seconds a day. I like it’s ruggedness and that it really captures the look of its predecessor . Good review on your part!

    Great review and totally agree with all your comments about this watch. I have the same model two years ago,I dive with it about 12 or 15 times a year ( between 30 to 80 meters deep) and so far, I'm delighted with it. Mine is delayed between 5 and 7 seconds a day, since I bought it until today. I do use the original rubber strap even with the diving suit but sometimes I use NATO strap too. Thanks for sharing.

      I only did it as an experiment and thankfully it turned out fine. Forget Cape Cod polishing cloth. Just use a bit of Autosol and a cotton rag. Works well on Seiko Turtles because of that cushion case. Just try not to get the polish into the bezel and the clasp mechanism. Give me ur email, I will send u a pic. I find it’s easiest to do around the 4:00 position. Also, to learn from my mistakes, tape off the case with masking tape in case the knife slips to avoid any scratches. I had the choice and I picked this srp777 over the skx007. Ultimately, you follow your heart. But the srp777 is a newer watch with a better movement. It is larger. If you have a smaller wrist, the skx007 may fit better. The srp777 is a remake of a classic. The skx007 has been discontinued, and may be a classic itself in a decade or two. On paper the srp777 is superior and was made to be since it is in a higher class than the skx007. Is it better for you? Only you can answer that question.

    Real men that work Hard for their Money wear Casio G-Shocks! I like both?

    • @StyleAndStrap

      I love G-Shocks but I feel my wrist is too small for one. I have been thinking about getting the old school square g-shocks because of my small wrist size.

      About +/- 10 seconds a day according to people on the forums. Last time I timed mine was under 5secs a day slower.

      1 min slow a week or approx -8.5 secs a day. I have a JDM model ..That’s lying flat on counter overnight and I wind it manually in am and pm. Love this watch wear it on a crafter blue rubber strap... it is my summer 2018 everyday use watch.

      Once every 22-25 years. Same with Orient watches.. All built like a tank.

    • @StyleAndStrap
      @StyleAndStrap  3 роки тому +1

      Its from Watch Gecko. You can do a search for them. They are based in the UK so shipping is slower but the quality is pretty good for around $30. It is not stiff at all like some of the other nato.

    I cant understand the meaning of long term review in a watch...itsnt a car....

    • @StyleAndStrap
      @StyleAndStrap  5 років тому +10

      It can be very similar to a car. Both have gears and are mechanical. Long term review is useful because a lot of times we buy watches on impulse. I am guilty of it and then find that once the honeymoon phases wears off I rarely wear it again. This review was to provide my thoughts after wearing it for over a year. Honeymoon phase has not wore off and I think that is good for others to know.
