I recently bought one of these Pepsi PADIs second hand, and I am constantly drawn in by the gorgeous blue dial. And the Turtle just feels at home as soon as I lay it on my wrist.
It has a great dial, congrats on the purchase!
The PADI Turtle in my opinion is a must have in a collection.
I think it kills an SKX.

TIMEFORFUN of course the Padi turtle has the advantage of SKX 009 first the padi turtle is a brand new edition but the SKX is a legend watch wear by Robert Redford movies in year 2004
I prefer the SRP779, mine only cost £238 brand new!

I just bought one of these yesterday in new condition, its my favorite watch. Hacking hand wind day and date and the dial with the different colors is outstanding . Love your videos very good.

Nice review.. I own the Asian Limited edition Sunburst orange dial. And a Prospex mini turtle blue dial.. Love them both ..Quality silicone rubber straps on turtles..Put a Crystal times double domed AR coated sapphire crystal in the mini turtle ... A mod that makes the watch and dial pop big time..P.S. Collar and pin bracelets are a massive ball ache to size.. Good advice..Subbed.

After 5years of wearing my Casio G-Shock gwm5600 though solar, I orderd the Seiko Turtle PADI (SRPA21-K) modded with a sapphire crystal and with a Solid Presidential band with a V-clasp. I could choose for an double domed sapphire but I think I will regret that. I had a Seiko SNP005 Premier Kinetic Perpetual Calendar before, but sold it (still regret it)
Can't wait untill I will receive my new Seiko.

I just purchased an original Prospex just like this but red & black, not pepsi. Same size, 45mm. My question is, what is the difference with Padi? Mine looks just like this, just red & black and doesn’t say Padi.
Is the PADI the only version of the pepsi color scheme for the turtle?

What size is that nato. How do I know I’m ordering the right size nato strap. I already own the watch but never worn it. Folks my daily watch is a seiko sports green dial with push and pull crown no screw down. Reminds me of seeing men in the 80s. Many of the car dealers I seen as a kid liked Timex or seiko even though they could have worn Rolex. Seiko will always be my daily

Great video.. just wondering would this look too big on a 6.5 inch wrist
They wear really well as the wingspan is family small at 46 mm or so. As long as you like the look of a slightly oversize watch, it should be good. I would recommend buying it from someone who will let you return it, just in case.

I searched SRPA21 on Amazon and I only saw one option for $329
Yeah it is because i bought the last one for $287 yesterday i also bought the super jubilee strap. Your right i cheched today and the price has gone up to $329 glad i pulled the trigger as soon as i saw "last one at this price".

It did, the crown to me doesn’t feel very positive & never has.

Great review of my favorite watch, my became sort of my don’t worry Holliday piece and it’s easily dressed up or down.
Get a dark blue nato, just got me one and a vintage mid brown strap, if your interested in, check out on my Channel, i made a small Review of them.
I feel actually the same regarding bezel action and movement, the SE seems to be a bit more solid and accurate. Cheers, Konstantin

Nice watch, but I think the PADI Samurai B99K1 looks and fits better and this upload confirms it for me. The two tone lume on the Samurai looks better too.
That's the SRPA21, not the SRPA21J1. If someone sold it to you as the JDM version you should ask for a refund.
Why would you think that? At 4:11 you can clearly see "Made In Japan" on the dial. Only on the J1 issues have that on the dial
You should take a closer look. His one has MOV'T JAPAN printed on it, not "Made in Japan".
Mr Blewvane I believe you're right, I can just make out the apostrophe.
You are incorrect- JDM models do, sometimes, say "Japan mov't" on the dial. Sometimes, it just says "Japan" alone. It does not always say the full phrase "made in Japan". Further, that wouldn't make any sense. Why would all the JDM market models have, in English, that full phrase for a population where only 10% of its people would understand the meaning? It isn't necessary. This is a JDM watch.

JDM models ALWAYS have "Made In Japan" on the caseback and "Japan" or "Made In Japan" on the dial. "MOV''T" identifies where the movement was made, not where the entire watch was manufactured. I can tell you this first hand from the countless Seiko's I've owned and flipped.
It's got nothing to do with making "sense" - you have inferred that yourself. If that's the case, wouldn't JDM releases just have Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana on the case back and no English at all?
Also take a look at 8:35 and pause- you can clearly see Mov't Japan on the caseback again.
This is 100% definitely not a J issue. If you can find any JDM release of any Seiko with "mov't japan" on the dial, I'll eat my words

It's surely a great watch, but the Steinhart Ocean One Vintage Military is head and shoulders above!
