The Munich food scene is really good right now. I was there in December (I used to live nearby so like to visit often, but thanks to Covid that was my first time in five years) and visited Esszimmer and Atelier, both of which are excellent 2*s. I didn't think Jan offered a vegetarian menu but I read now in the FAQs that it can be arranged with prior notice - maybe next time!
Yeah, we'll definitely have to go back and explore more! That's great about Jan offering a vegetarian menu, you should definitely try it out when you visit again :)

Lovely to see you in Germany. We have a lot of great restaurants! The restaurant Intense in Wachenheim is a hidden gem if you find you way to the lovely Pfalz ;)

Any chance you guys will do some videos on some Toronto / Ontario places? I know it's not quiteee at the same level, but it feels like there is no high quality content on UA-cam about a lot of the fine(r) dining places in the area. Some potentially interesting restaurants I would love to see more high-quality content available about, off the top of my head:

- Eigensinn Farm
- The Gate
- Alo
- Canoe
- Ten (a personal favorite)

Those are great restaurants you've suggested, and you're right we haven't focused on featuring videos from Toronto/Ontario. We'll definitely keep that in mind, but truthfully, we have a long list of restaurants around the world we're incredible excited about and we're booked out months in advance. When we find the time, we'll definitely consider it :D
Jan is very high on my list, I hope to one day go there. I love how passionate he and the whole team are. Proud to have such a gem here in Germany!

There is another Restaurant JAN in Nice France. Belonging to a South African Chef. They have 2 Michelin Stars.
I went there a few years back and it was just great! Super warm service and beautiful food. One of my favourites ever. It's one star though (although in my experience more stars only seems to mean more money and not better food!).

Amazing that this didn't crack an s1 but then again the atmosphere seems a little busy and the design of the place isn't outstanding
Yes, unfortunately for an S3 the restaurant hits to be nearly perfect as a whole experience and there were a few elements outside of the food that didn't blow us away. The food, however, was incredible and outstanding!
