I first saw Haruna when she was with Destrose, a double bill with Mary's Blood, I chatted with Saki, Miho, and her (very approachable and warm). She played fast then and plays faster now. I do believe she occasionally violates Einstein's special theory of relativity and moves faster than the speed of light, or maybe time dilation occurs when she's drumming, which means that she ages more slowly than the rest of us, which is why she still looks like a junior high school kid. But I learned when chatting with her (on three occasions actually) that she has a very grown-up mind about music and the music business. LB is in her good hands.
Did Haruna-san speak in English? I think you're right in that she doesn't age at the same rate as the rest of us. 😊😊

You are right about the speed of Haruna.. I'm damn sure that, on some occasions in various songs, when she does those runs around the kit, I have seen cymbals move, but I didn't see her hit them.
And yes. She seems to me, to be one of the sweetest little creatures on the Planet.

One of my all time favorite performances by HARUNA since day-1. She did her best to send her partner on rhythm of 10 years off in style. Inspirational metal dummer and my #1 favorite of them all. 🥁⭐️🏆
And for context, that was the 15th song in a 17 song concert. Stunning. The skills of these women are sublime.
And I believe it followed Judgement Day.

Nameless Warrior was not my favorite song from the ladies, but I developed new appreciation more and more to this song whenever I see this live version. It has so much more energy than what I got from the original studio version 🤘🏼🔥🐺🔥🤘🏼

Absolute masterpiece. Emotional even they look happy (to me) especially Asami, angelic voice. Metal sound in fullness, M&M repeated guitar harmonized, so satisfying. Haruna massive drumming and Fami full throttle bass running. Everything amazing..Lovebites, they'll are just stand different, salute🫡🫡👍👍🤘🤘♥️😍. Thanks friend
The live version is 100 times better then the MV version imo and even though M&M get most of the spotlight on songs I feel this song is all Haruna’s because her drums are way more prominent in the mix and the things that she is doing during the break down spot were they slow it down a little just brings me to tears. I am a huge Lovebites fan and I thought the studio version of this song was just Ok, not one of my favorites, but I absolutely love this live version. They really are amazing. Peace.

Some new info on the ProgPower 2024 show. You have to purchase tickets for days 3 (Lovebites) and 4, they are sold together as a package. Tickets are $280 ea. The promoter also stated that there are only 900 tickets available as 200 have been already taken for v.i.p.'s Tickets go on sale on October 21 2023 at 12:00 est.

Has anybody noticed Fami almost shredding during Midori's solo?
Might just pop down? You'll have to decide by Oct 21 of this year, because that's the day tickets go on sale, and from the chatter on social media, it's going to sell out right away. I'll be flying from the West Coast to see them at Prog Power. No way would I miss that.
Too many people wrote this song off on first listen. Now it’s a live release and people are finally realising what they were missing. Good, all’s well that ends well. The more I watch and listen to Pi (look it up 🙂) the more I become bewildered at the intricacies. I remember making a mental note when this was released, following on from GGTTW that it was a portent of things to come. Lo and behold, Judgement Day delivered the accelerated instrumental pace that this song seemed to usher in. I say all that because Harupi’s playing on the JD album is littered with such intricacies, all the more incredible considering the pace of most of the songs. Not only does she get better but she looks younger in every photo. Given that it’s not unreasonable to suggest that she either is or this Xmas almost certainly will be thirty, I have predicted that in 2028 or thereabouts, her and Fami will be the same age…🙂 (ps hope you saw my message about the livestream next week…Harupi has something special for you!)
I'm embarrassed to admit being underwhelmed when I found out this was the second release from KAHG. Now I can't teel you how often it is ringing in my head. The song matched with this performance is truly an episode of "Masterpiece Theatre". I defer humbly to the wise judgement of our Royal Princess court, regarding both song selection and my sentencing.
