I have a similar set up but use the nxt display from my boy Alan at ERT what's nice about that is the full tuning capabilities from the display itself and you can also run the egg rider v2 display on the same harness and switch back and fourth if you want something smaller at times

Seems like the cyc x1 stealth kit uses a similar controller, eliminates the need to do anything and much cheaper in total. I wonder what the performance comparison would be. 🤔
CYC X1 Stealth is lighter, includes same controller and has "torque sensor". BAC 855 housed beside motor (cleaner install). CYC motor is more powerful (1500 W). The only thing BBSHD has vs CYC X1 Stealth is history, proven reliability and availability of spare parts.
@@yellowsheeps i bough the bac855 from CYC, will it still work for my bbshd? Cause it said it was only programmed for CYC motors but i figured that was just a warranty thing.
@@JohnjOcampo The CYC Bac855 controller is only for their 2 motors and even in this case, the Bac855 is not interchangeable between the 2 motors without re-programming. To use the Bac with the bbshd, you would need it re-programed by someone familiar with programming a bac855 for a bbshd.

Thats awesome. How much more is the torque watts and speed? Without that modification its around 165 NM torque , 1500wt peak, and up to 65km hr.

buy a digital thermometer from an aquatic shop and install when opening casing
Yes there's a way but there's a lot you need to do to get it working and you need to have both back door access and knowledge of how to wire it up.
Would the bac 855 work on a RX motor?
If you mean a super73 Rx then yes it will work on any brushless motor

@@fabijus100 Thank you very much for the response. I am about to purchase this controller paired with the eggrider V2. The only question remaining would be, what would be the minimum requirements for a battery to run this system? l have a 52V 13Ah with a maximum rated 30A discharge continuous, would that be able to run or should I upgrade to a bigger battery? @@JoseLuis-wz6xh we can program controller for your battery but if you want to get maximum power we would recommend to use 52v with 70a discharge or 72v with 50a discharge current.

Been trying to get mine to run from the Eggrider but with no success can anyone point me in the right direction I have a useless broken 750c screen that will not power up, and find it impossible to replace with the BAC855 protocol

Hello, can I choose between 52, 60 and 72 volts on the display? Can I adjust the strength of the support levels myself like with the bbshd controller? Can I set the max ampere myself?
Hello, you can change each assist level power by % in advanced settings.
Talking about batteries - we can program controller for one specific battery or remove all limitations which depends on battery.
