Thanks. It is called a Moose plow (www.mooseutilities.com/) I bought it through Fortnine up in Canada. Its a few years old now and still going strong, still the original shoes. I did eventually repair the cable with some proper clamps, I keep a strap in the glove box area on the ATV in case the cable breaks then I can at least get the plow lifted.
The shoes on the plow rattle around when it is raised, the bungie places tension on them. So literally the bungie cord is to stop the rattle, because its annoying. Maybe if I wrapped them a couple times with electrical tape that would stop the noise also but this was the first thing I thought of and it worked and its been this way for about 4 years.
Finally someone who knows how to plow snow. Nice machine. Great to see someone who knows which machine deserves to be in the garage.
I thought you were the "STIG" never talked til you were helping out , That was a great idea to use a strap I think I will try that
What kind of plow is that , those are great shoes never seen that on an ATV plow and nice plowing too

Lawrence Kennette I just got a plow and noticed the same annoying rattle from the shoes/skids. Great idea 👍 man!
