  • In this video I installed the BrakeAway MotorCycle Cruise Control on a 2007 C50 Boulevard. The install took me about 30-40 mins. I felt that this cruise control had a much better appearance than the cheaper ones on the market. If you like the video let me know, if not I really don't care. Please Subscribe!

I believe the M109 has the same grip on it and should fit fine. I was going to take mine to put on a C90 but never got the bike, so I still have it on the C50 and use almost every day. Thanks for watching.

What is the grip size? Is it 1 inch?

This is just a fancier throttle lock. The bike will start to slow down before you even notice the grade of the road go up, likewise, the bike speeds up when going downhill. Again, this is NOT a cruise control.

You are correct it is a throttle lock, but if you look at almost all of them they call them cruise control. Yes you will vary speed a little going up and down hills, but that does not bother me. To add a true electronic speed control to a simple motorcycle would be a complex and expensive undertaking, compared to the relatively low cost and easy of installing a throttle lock cruise control. But if you are of the mind to take on such a task as designing such an electronic cruise control be my guest.

After thinking about it more a cruise control like you are talking about would actually be dangerous, because for it operate you would have to remove your hand from the throttle grip the entire time you using it, not smart at all.
