Thank you for this idea. Trying to figure out how to put hinges on my cabinets has brought everything to a halt. I think this will work! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! I needed this for the 70's era NYC subway Candy Stand I'm working on for a circa 1979 subway station diorama. I built a wall with a door that opens and closes, but had the unsightly gap issue. When I saw your video, I thought, duh, cut out space for the hinges! The bugle bead idea is positively genius! Thanks again! Lisa
I was hoping you would say bugle beads because I have millions of them! Of course I didn't find your video until after I ordered little brass tubes and head pins but I am sure I will still be using your genius method too! You earned a sub Lol!
That’s wonderful! Thanks so much for subscribing and I hope this video helps with future projects! Hinges were always the one thing I struggled with! ❤️
@@miniaturefairytales3369 yeah I never line them up right either. I bought some more head pins to put through the beads. So I am going to try it out. Once I am finished I will stick up some photos tagging you of course! I will try staples and head pins and see which fits my beads best.8 It turns out that I had a whole reel of wire which is exactly right for the beads. Thanks again as this is really going to help my 1:24th size project I started over Christmas. Oh and a Happy, Healthy New Year to you and your loved ones Carissa.

Genius! Thanks so much for sharing! I wonder if this would work in this size as 1:12 scale hinges, or would they be too tiny?

Hi do you know how to put the hinges on the doors at the front of a house i cant figure it out they are L shaped? Plz help 🎉
Genius
Woodglut is full of amazing tips. It helped me a lot.
I suppose for larger scales you could use cotton bud stems
I think that’s entirely possible depending on the scale. That and maybe a bent paper clip for the metal part. 😊
Thanks sm now I can make my cardboard shotgun
