I just got a sample of it yesterday. It smelled nothing other than a disinfectant/detergent at a dental office!! I left it on my skin for 7 hours and the scent never changed I was so sad!!
Ja, absolutely agree with you! It's a fragrance you that have to play with your nose and mind, that's why it's such a magical masterpiece fragrance, very long lasting, but never to much, you can wear it for any occasion, although it's very seductive and sexy, it's also very luxurious etc; and it's my absolute favorite for layering, ufff, you can layer it with probably every other fragrance out there, and gives them this magic.....👌🤌🥰
I wore Delina at work a few months ago and I had three different guys ask me what I was wearing…That was an indicator that: a. Men like this fragrance A LOT b. Delina is a loud and “look at me” fragrance Personally, I prefer Baccarat Rouge Extrait and I love to wear it often but I have never gotten much of a reaction from others the way Delina was. And yes, I also decided not to wear Delina again at work because I don’t want the attention it brings…
I have both and they are both lovely perfume but Delina Exclusif is the leader of all fragrances ( of course in my opinion) I love fragrance so consider I have a lot, I still believe the Parfums de Marly brand have about four winners. Delina Delina Ex Delina La Rosee Delina Valaya # 1 of all 4 is Delina Ex. The MFK is also a beautiful perfumer Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait # 1 Gentle Fluidity # 2 The rest I can’t speak much on because I don’t have them all. Try TF atomic Rose as well - beautiful.

Good thing I own both! I have the extrait version of 540. I definitely reach for Delina more and I save 540 extrait for special occasions. I thought the original 540 smelled like bandaids.
I love both, but I do prefer Burberry Her over BR 540 because it smells more feminine to me. I'm treating myself to a bottle of Delina for my birthday next month 🙂
@Oooo Oooo Burberry her has the same warm / floral / cedar notes of BR 540, once it dries down. When you first spray Her, it's mostly berries and fruits, but they seem to dissipate on the dry down. I've sampled Cloud in Ulta, but I couldn't get a clear read on it, since it didn't seem to last on me.

I absolutely hate when people say "old lady or grandma" to describe a fragrance. I'm always thinking to myself,do you mean it's just mature or very complex? I have some really beautiful fragrances,but so many people just doesn't appreciate the Beauty in them. My guess is because so many people prefer something that is really simple, artificial, or completely juvenile. I've definitely noticed that my sense of smell has completely changed in just a few years. Even as a teenager,I often noticed myself gravitating towards more complex/mature frangrances. Just recently I gave away like 25 body mist/perfumes because I found them to be way too boring,simple,or juvenile.
I agree with you and I also find this type of comments of grandma smell, to be offensive to not so young lady's, because they say it in a way that implies that it smells bad, like it's a bad thing, which I desagree. It's true some fragances seem to fit to a certain a age group. For exmplee very sweet and fruity perfumes tend to be worn by very young lady's, which I don't identify with anymore... But I am not saying it like they smell bad!!! Please people out there, let's stop ageism, let's appreciate all stages of life and remember, you will be an old one too sooner than you think!
when i say it i mean, "powdery, old fashion perfume smelling, moth balls etc" all mature doesn't smell like old lady, but some mature perfumes can. They'd usually have basenotes of sandalwood, rose, or tobacco, etc

I get what you mean but I dont think they mean in a negative way.. for example rose reminds of my grandma & older women I know as they always chose perfumes that have a strong rose scent so I associate rose with older women but not in a negative way whatsoever but I avoid using that expression cause I know it offends people.

But the first time I put it on I was like wow this is gorgeous. Then I went in and my husband was like, "ooooooo." I'm a teacher and even little kids have commented on it.
Completely agree with your post. As a man, I sometimes buy fragrances that I think may attractive to the opposite sex. Even though I may love the scent, they turn out to be a “oh that smells nice” kind of reaction. I bought a decant of BR 540 a few years ago just to see what the hype was about. It’s unique for sure and it lasts forever on my skin. But would I be attracted to a women wearing this? Hell no. On to Delina. This is what a feminine woman should smell like! I would stalk a woman wearing this (not in a creepy way)! This may sound strange but I judge woman by her ability or inability to pull off this fragrance. That’s how much I love Delina. I’m thinking about buying Delina for my daughter but do I want the attraction she’ll probably get? Probably not.

Nice reviews, at 4:00, the guy can't smell br450, that's normal, I can't smell it either and a lot of people have the same problem, next time try with the Extrait version, it's better imho. Delina is also really good but br450 is more refine.
I own both fragrances and love them both dearly. They are both amazing in their own unique ways. Oddly i have never once been complimented on Delina but I have on Bacarrat. There are lots of strong opinions out there in both. Just as many hate Delina OG as Bacarrat. And frankly I prefer the oroginals of both over the exclusif and extrait!
I have delina and my absolute favorite!! One time i rode a bus and the moment i stepped in about 4 people took off their masks real quick to take a sniff and i rly heard some "hmmm, damn smells so good here". The driver also told me i smelled good when i hopped off the bus. 🤣 I live in a humid country but it lasted til the next day on my skin.
It’s interesting, of those who chose BR 540, they rated it lower at of 10 than those who chose Delina. But everyone who chose Delina, rated it high (at least 7 but mainly 8-9). I don’t own either scents but if I were to buy one, it would be Delina. I’ve heard nothing but great things about Delina but there are mixed reviews of BR 540 - Nelle
I only like the way BR 540 smells in the bottle. It pulls too masculine for me and even my husband says I smell like a man when I wear it. Soooo…..it’s just a no for me lol. Burberry Her is much better. My bottle of Delina is in transit right now and I can’t wait!
I went salsa dancing with my husband and a man could tell we were together but still came up and apologized but he just had to get me to write down which perfume I was wearing because he loved it so much, it was Delina, and after that night I just knew it was a special one
I have both! Delina is growing on me less off putting v unique n sexy! 540 has a after sense that turns kinda artificial and it lingers for mths. My friend spray on e teddy bear and gave me as gift for Xmas - I still smelling it. Gives me a headache. I stopped using 540 already. I never understood the hype for baccarat..it smells like an old lady to me. I tried several times trying to give it a chance. I don't know if it's the saffron. Delina on the other hand..looooveee
Last year in July I went to New York and I visited the Parfums de Marly boutique. I had barley started my fragrance journey, so at the time I was maybe around 2 months in. I went to PDM to buy my first niche fragrance. I walked out with Pegasus but believe or not I almost walked out with Delina.
I would love to see a few of the Creed scents compared to anything else. I have not encountered anything that compares to Creed. Every one of their fragrances is incredible. I would love your feedback. Thank you very much! 🌺

I think the extrait is way better than the original edp. Its long lasting and stronger. To combat the amnosmic I take a break from it for a couple days. That's helps my nose re set:)

BR540 is one of those scents that smells way better on skin than paper IMO, so I don't feel like a quick comparison of tester strips does it justice.

Completely agree with your post. As a man, I sometimes buy fragrances that I think may attractive to the opposite sex. Even though I may love the scent, they turn out to be a “oh that smells nice” kind of reaction.
I bought a decant of BR 540 a few years ago just to see what the hype was about. It’s unique for sure and it lasts forever on my skin. But would I be attracted to a women wearing this? Hell no.
On to Delina. This is what a feminine woman should smell like! I would stalk a woman wearing this (not in a creepy way)! This may sound strange but I judge woman by her ability or inability to pull off this fragrance. That’s how much I love Delina.
I’m thinking about buying Delina for my daughter but do I want the attraction she’ll probably get? Probably not.
I stopped a man dead in his tracks wearing Delina to ask me what I was wearing. I LOOOOOOVE it. It’s such a beautiful scent. The smell lasts all day.

Nice reviews, at 4:00, the guy can't smell br450, that's normal, I can't smell it either and a lot of people have the same problem, next time try with the Extrait version, it's better imho. Delina is also really good but br450 is more refine.
I don’t smell 540 so I had to buy The Extrait. It too could be stronger for that kind of money.

I own both fragrances and love them both dearly. They are both amazing in their own unique ways. Oddly i have never once been complimented on Delina but I have on Bacarrat. There are lots of strong opinions out there in both. Just as many hate Delina OG as Bacarrat. And frankly I prefer the oroginals of both over the exclusif and extrait!

One time i rode a bus and the moment i stepped in about 4 people took off their masks real quick to take a sniff and i rly heard some "hmmm, damn smells so good here".
The driver also told me i smelled good when i hopped off the bus. 🤣

It’s interesting, of those who chose BR 540, they rated it lower at of 10 than those who chose Delina. But everyone who chose Delina, rated it high (at least 7 but mainly 8-9).
I don’t own either scents but if I were to buy one, it would be Delina. I’ve heard nothing but great things about Delina but there are mixed reviews of BR 540 - Nelle
I and my male friends can't stand BR540 which is too sweet and strong for us.
I only like the way BR 540 smells in the bottle. It pulls too masculine for me and even my husband says I smell like a man when I wear it. Soooo…..it’s just a no for me lol. Burberry Her is much better. My bottle of Delina is in transit right now and I can’t wait!

I went salsa dancing with my husband and a man could tell we were together but still came up and apologized but he just had to get me to write down which perfume I was wearing because he loved it so much, it was Delina, and after that night I just knew it was a special one

I have both! Delina is growing on me less off putting v unique n sexy! 540 has a after sense that turns kinda artificial and it lingers for mths. My friend spray on e teddy bear and gave me as gift for Xmas - I still smelling it. Gives me a headache. I stopped using 540 already. But funny , each time when I spray 540 only girls asks what I am wearing not guys thou. Delina no one thou lol.

Really really like this video since I'm trouble comparing which to buy.
Last year in July I went to New York and I visited the Parfums de Marly boutique. I had barley started my fragrance journey, so at the time I was maybe around 2 months in. I went to PDM to buy my first niche fragrance. I walked out with Pegasus but believe or not I almost walked out with Delina.

What a fun video! I am almost out of my bottle of 540 & won't be repurchasing because I have anosmia with it. For that price I want to be able to smell it all day. I love Delina Exclusif & will always have it in my collection. I just bought 540 extrait & I can smell it a bit more than the original but still not enough to keep. Have you tried Atomic Rose? It's like a sexier more grown up Delina. Sending love from the USA. ❤️
I think the extrait is way better than the original edp. Its long lasting and stronger. To combat the amnosmic I take a break from it for a couple days. That's helps my nose re set:)
Atomic rose is great, love it but there is nothing like Delina Exclusiv.
I have all 3 and to me Delina still comes out on top.
