Saw a guy in the cast iron sub reddit, used blue shop towels for seasoning and wiping oil from his pans. When the towel was spent, he'd stuff it in an empty paper towel tube. When he could cram no more towels inside, he'd saw it into little pucks. Nice and long burning.
