Judging by your reaction here, you'd love her KEXP Iceland 2018 performance. Six songs, about 1/2 hour long. She's at her most energetic and playful (at least for earlier in her career -- she's like that all the time now). It's an absolute fan favorite. Absolutely, 100% to interviews and documentaries! I love watching those almost as much as her performances, because she's so likeable, interesting, funny and captivating. "Aurora being hilarious out of context for 6 minutes straight" is a popular compilation. If you really want to get to know her, the "Once Aurora" and "HAIK" documentaries are must-see. Or "Nothing is Eternal" (~10 mins) for a shorter documentary. I apologize for not providing links, but that seems to always result in UA-cam deleting my comments.
@@Tarkus_ Thanks. It's ok, someone else has provided the link to 'Nothing is Eternal' so I'll probably check that out first, given it's a bit shorter. Has she done more than one KEXP. I've certainly seen one of them and it was great.
@thevikingbuddha Yes, she also did KEXP Seattle 2019. The Iceland show was with an audience (including Bjork!), and was much more fun and energetic. The Seattle show was a studio with interview type performance. Good, but not great.
Great reaction to this amazing performance😍🦋 I also love the music video for Queendom😍 Yes, Aurora loves animals and especially cats. She also loves insects like moths. But if she could choose any “animal” she would choose a dragon lol I agree with Holgerdansk, a great place to start is with “Nothing is eternal” and “Into the light”👍 There’s a lot of funny videos of her, either it’s interviews or in between songs. I recommend “Invisible wounds” live in Vienna Be sure to watch the talking before she sings👍 And “Nature Boy” acapella at Melkweg Amsterdam👍💙🦋
I'm surprised nobody mentioned THE documentary , "Once Aurora" which was made during her earliest stage of development as a "super star." It gives a wonderful picture of this talented young genius before fame landed on her. I'm pretty sure its available on UA-cam. I think you enjoy it and find it very insightful,
Yup Meeow Meeow and the swing and I love this one gonna watch it again after so much time gracias por traerlo de vuelta And do her interviewas she is such an unique lady I'd love to have a chat with some wine must be such a great conversation I'll meet her this Friday OMG

The Haik documentary is the bright side. Once Aurora will give you the dark side: how she had to struggle, as an introvert, to become a public artist and impose her vision to the music industry. If you want to know her better, a must. It wons awards, by the way.
@@kaddishcombattants Yes, I agree that Once AURORA and HAIK both are a must see, but reacting to "Once AURORA" will most likely end up in a copyright strike.
Thanks, one of her best songs, one of my favorites. There is an interview regarding Queendom where she discusses lyrics and the video on YT by NME. It's just under 4 minutes. Another to consider is "Forgotten Love' listed on YT as "Aurora canta Forgotten Love no Brasil". Its just under 7minutes. There's a very short discussion before, then the song and then a 2 min or so discussion. Both are cute.
Another fun fact, the meowing in the beginning has the melody of an actual cat song by Silja Sol called 'Ni liv' (nine lives in Norwegian), great song.
Along with all of the other suggestions I would recommend the two separate video interviews with Triple-J (“Like a Version” on an Australian radio station) plus the performances from those shows. She is asked to play an original song plus one cover (that she has only about an hour to prepare for)- and she is brilliant at both! The interviews are a hoot and show off her very quirky sense of humor. I can also recommend something very recent called “Say It Or Snail It” that is available on youtube as well. As others have said, there are SO many incredibly interesting interviews and clips of her interacting with the crowd at her shows you will have a fairly unlimited supply of wonderful moments.
in these times (trump got re-elected 🤮) we need so much more auroras. but not only the kind ones. thanks for your reaction. if you really like to learn more about her persona, i would recommend the "Lifekeys Talks: Aurora", "AURORA - Interview at Outrage and Optimism (Learning to Live with Grief and Joy)" and other, recent in-depth, full length interviews. but if you like to see funny aurora, there are a lot of interview compilations. and i think, people are ok with longer videos.
Search on YT for a less than a minute long video of Aurora talking to the audience, search Aurora Lion King, you will love it. Anything of Aurora, interviews, documentaries, whole concerts, we will be there, "we are legion" , lol. Thanks, so nice to have you in the "familty".
There are so many interviews with Aurora... believe me, it's a bottomless pit. But - I would start with the little documentary "Nothing is Eternal". It shows Aurora with her friends and sisters and gives a small impression of Aurora Aksnes as a person. There is also an older one "Into the light" which is very short and already 8 years old. Also nice... I can recommend the video for Queendom, the dancing Aurora makes you happy. Aurora would like a black cat, but she won't get one because, as she says, she's hardly ever at home and that would be annoying for the animal. Nice reaction and Aurora has you (like the rest of us) under her spell. Haha... welcome to the club. One is about 10 min and the other about 13 if I remember right.
Hi, if you like to learn more about her and wish to hear her talk, I think the HAIK-documentary (that aired on Norway's national television in 2019) is the perfect video to start with. It was a TV-show, with the TV-host taking AURORA hitch hiking with her on a day full of surprises, and AURORA only knows that she will end the day performing a concert on an undisclosed location.
