guys i’ll be honest, i NEVER comment on anything lol, but i have to tell you how much i’ve enjoyed your recent reactions to all the kpop (and xg!). you guys take your reactions seriously and i really can appreciate that! i know you’ve gotten a lot of comments letting you know that this is suga from bts, and that you should react to the agust d trilogy. and while i agree, i also have to recommend bts UGH! and Tear. these are rapline songs, so 3 of the 7 bts members. they are two of my favorite songs, both get me so hype! thanks again for the great reaction!!!
Agree with this! Agust D trilogy is a must, but UGH and Tear will be a good intro to BTS rap line as a whole. I recommend adding live performances of those songs as well, they're so good! Also UGH lyrics use a lot of cultural references and wordplay, so it's worth checking out the video 'BTS UGH explained by a Korean'.
he started in the underground rap scene in Korea, got um...sort of tricked into joining an idol group (he was given the impression all he would have to do is rap and was less than enthusiastic about singing and dancing also being required LOL), and then his old acquaintances turned on him for "selling out" and "not being a real rapper anymore". this song was his response. watching him grow over the years has been a gift.
also, i have what i think is an extremely funny observation about part of the translation for these lyrics but i don't want to offend anyone 💀 and i can't wait for y'all to discover his band mate RM
AgustD songs: -Daechwita, Haegeum,Amygdala (Trilogy) - Interlude: Shadow - What Do You Think? - People - People Part 2 (feat. IU) - Set Me Free - The Last - Give It To Me - Nevermind - Trivia: Seesaw - Strange (feat. RM) - Huh (feat. Jhope) and many to mention BTS Rapline (RM, Suga, & Jhope) - Cyphers 1-4 - Ddeang - Ugh - Outro: Tear
Anything else from AgustD? There is ton. Two mix tapes ( AgustD ; D-2) One solo album ( D-day) Solo songs as Suga from BTS discography ( Never mind; First love; Interlude: Shadow) His real name is Min Yoongi.
@@thedreadinitpodcastThat's our precious Suga of BTS aka AgustD aka Min Yoongi (real name). His alias AgustD is just Suga backwards ➡️ DtsugA and he's from the town of Daegu, his hometown hence he's D-boy. I believe Daegu Town is also the name of the group he used to be in during his early days. Welcome to BTS x ARMY global family 💜🎶 They debuted in 2013 so their discography is MASSIVE!! There's always something for everyone because these artists dabble and experiments with different sounds. Whether it's their group projects, solo projects, collaborations etc...there's so much to chose from. 💜🎶
You guys would probably love a live performance, its like he doesn't need oxygen. I reccomend 'Outro: Tear' live - it also has the other two members of BTS's rap line so you will get to sea how they play off each other.
Agust D/ Suga is one of those rags to riches stories you always love hearing about. Like he literally came from nothing a made such a powerful name for himself in BTS😭 He wrote a song “Amygdala” with the music video and song recalling real moments in his life and his struggles including a bike accident that left him with shoulder issues.
I just found your channel and I'm so glad you reacted to AgustD member of BTS and I appreciate your comments😊 I would love to see more BTS reactions they are 3 Rappers and 4 Vocalists
This was so satisfying. And I'm not just saying that because you liked it, but because it was a genuine reaction, you actually understood what you were listening to. ARMY aren't here for fake hype, but it's so fun when people can hear what we hear, and actually get it! BTS is as huge as they are for a reason! Agust D (aka Suga) is amazing, and the other two rappers are also amazing... these guys are literally the best of the best in their field, and somehow they all ended up in the same group?? Highly recommend checking out more from Agust D, and the other rappers RM and j-hope. They all have distinct styles and a lot of skill. In my opinion they stand out from the entire scene of 'k-pop' in terms of rap. It's not just about speed, but complex flows, expressive cadences, emotional delivery, real knowledge of hip hop and ability to reference effectively. Then when you get into quality lyric translations their wordplay is fantastic, and the lyrics are genuinely meaningful. BTS are popular for a lot of reasons - vocals and dance are amazing too, they're fantastic live performers, they have a genuine underdog story, and a very close team dynamic - but the rappers are an important factor that makes them stand out. Their roots are in underground hip hop, they really respect and care about the genre, and frequently shout out their influences. Excited to see you get deeper into them!
He is a member of BTS, a Korean group, and this is the name he uses for his solo work. I first heard BTS when I was 14, and now at 24, Agust D (Suga) has remained the one member whose work always feels deeply personal and heartfelt. All of them are talented and they create beautiful music, but he is simply the one I resonate with the most. Him and Namjoon, another rapper in the group.❤😊 Agust D (or Suga) writes honest, raw lyrics about mental health and struggles - songs like The Last and So Far Away are powerful examples. He also creates comforting, emotional tracks about dreams, desires, and perseverance, such as Snooze. An heartfelt embrace to aspiring artists and everyone who feels suffocated in the society and trying to find their rhythm and place. His music explores societal issues (Haegeum), the longing for fame and the weight of success (Shadow), his love for music and art (First Love), and deeply personal experiences and choices (Amygdala). He’s also written songs about friendships and grief, like Dear My Friend. His discography reflects a profound passion for music and creation, which has clearly been a lifeline for him. When I search for an artist, I look for music that makes me feel good, but it’s even more meaningful when the music resonates deeply - when it feels honest, conveys a sense of understanding and it just feel…. Human. If it even makes sense.
I learned from another reactor that the reason Agust D or Suga has such great flows is because he is also a producer. In fact, he produced this song himself.
Also is you don't know this is suga from the Kpop group BTS. They are the most popular K-pop guy groups in the world!!! Min Yoon-gi is his real name! Their are 7 members, but only two of them are out of the militar(Jin and Hobi) Their names are:(IN AGE ORDER)(OLDEST TO YOUNGEST) 1. JIN 2. SUGA 3. J-HOPE 4. RM(LEADER) 5. JIMIN 6. V 7. JUNGKOOK ❤❤❤💜💜💜
Agust d is from the group bts and he has a 3 part trilogy which I recommend you guys watch, the order is: Daechwita Haegum Amygdala Also u should check out some bts music and other members solo music 💕
Freaking finally!!!! 😂 Our man Min Yoongi aka. Suga aka. AGUST D. He's from the biggest group in the world, BTS (not even the biggest in Kpop but the world) He has a trilogy of songs ya'll should listen to in this order: Daechwita, Haegum & Amygdila 💜
AgustD (Suga from BTS) got his start as an underground rapper and it shows. He is also a prolific and skilled producer who has created songs for BTS, and other music artists.
Literally no one in K-pop can beat bts rap line (suga aka agust D, RM and J-Hope) in terms of genuine authentic hip hop, lyricism, flow, cadence, everything. They're true hiphop heads that started writing lyrics when they were kids and started rapping in the underground scene first before they became a group and they even went to LA and mentored under Coolio
Agust D, also known as Suga from BTS, or Yoongi (his real name), he along side RM (or Namjoon) and j-hope (Hoseok) is a rapper in BTS. They are rappers that are wholely involved in the hiphop culture. Not only him and RM were underground rappers and j-hope was a street dancer, as artists they have always been knowledgeable of the history of hip-hop, the classics, giving credits to the OGs, the mentality of giving back to their people, writing their own verses, being authentic and humble while still looking to expand their music knowledge and experience, keeping meaningful connections with indie artists and shouting them out or collabing with them. They also produce, mainly Agust D and j-hope, RM likes to stay more on the songwriting aspect of the song though he also has his input. And as producers and songwriters and teammates of singers, they know how to switch their flows, tones, cadences to match the song better. In my opinion they are artists through and through, and their strong roots in hip-hop are what made them today the men they are.
Not sure if you’re familiar with Japanese/Korean language and their sentence structure but basically the verb is at the end of the sentence and it can change to impact the sentence’s intention. Hangul (Korean) has a lot of double entendre in their language as we see it “Romanized” but when the characters are written and placed in context, it can mean something else but that something else can have relevance (or not), it depends. Does it rhyme in the scheme of things? Not necessarily but placement can affect how it’s sung or rapped. Namjoon (RM/BTS) is prolific in his work (solo and BTS) crafting lyrics. And as shown in this song, Agust D raps about his “tongue technology”. One of the intentions of this song is a message to the industry that they should be grateful he’s an “idol”, otherwise he would just take over. Either way, BTS took over. The song, to me, is an allegory.
My recommendation🎉 Welcome to the world of BTS, it's taken a while 😅💜 AGUST D is a rapper, producer, composer, music video director, a do it all myself man. That is the way the boys of BTS do it. You can go for more Agust D, I'd recommend the song "Daechwita". Or go for another rapper in BTS, like "Arson" by j-hope. There's also coming up next month the song "LV Bag" which is a Don Toliver x j-hope collab produced by Pharrel. Or also "Groin" by RM, he's also a rapper and the leader of BTS.
he is really a freak lunatic on the beat, one of the best rappers in the kpop industry for sure. BTS rapline is something else definitely need to check out their work.
Agust D aka Suga from BTS - started as an underground rapper in his hometown of Daegu SK at the age of 13. Agust D (pronounced August) is made from his home town and his “industry name” backwards D (Daegu) T (Town) Suga. 💜
Aye finally a reaction from a BTS member. Let me give you a heads up, this reaction might bring a surge of BTS fans. Please, keep in mind there will be a lot of bombardment for reactions to the whole BTS group or solo member music. It might be overwhelming and I won’t lie, some bad eggs might pop up, but don’t be discouraged if you do run into comments that aren’t nice in the near future. That doesn’t represent what the BTS fandom is. We just enjoy open minded and honest reactors who can open up to appreciating what BTS stands for and their passion for music. His main stage name is Suga (pronounced like the beginning of the words Shooting Guard). Agust D is the name he uses when he does solo work but he’s still apart of BTS. Hes one of the 3 rappers in BTS and he’s also the main producer in the group but all BTS members have experience in producing and write their own stuff. Let me add HEAVILY produce and write their own work. Excited for future BTS reactions. 💜 (SUGA has been in the underground rapping scene since he was 12-13) so yes, hes a REAL rapper. The BTS rappers have paid homage to Hiphop artists in the western. They have one song called Hip-Hop Phile where they shout out their top hip hop artists. I’m saying all this from my perspective. I don’t listen to any other kpop group but BTS so I’m speaking facts from what I know. Agust D has Daechwita, Haeguem(?), and one of my favorite songs of his is SDL. No mv to it though. So maybe color coded lyrics.
Thanks for reacting to Agust D aka Suga/ real name Min Yoongi! Please watch his brilliant trilogy. The MV's. "DAECHWITA". "Haegum." "AMYGDALA. He is lyrical and producing genius. And his trilogy proves it.
@@lieflieflief I usually stick to my own little corner of music but the TDIP reactions have introduced to me stuff I never thought I'd like. Theres a few artists I have started to explore.
My bros. Fellow Brit here of Nigerian heritage. I always appreciate and enjoy your reactions! I grew up a massive hip hop head. Other music was in the house, from Led Zep, to Sade, to Fela Kuti, to MJ. Hip-hop was my personal venture, away from my parents' tastes. It saved my life and I am still big on the golden age and 90s/early 2000s. I still bump my Tribe, De La, Nas, Wu, Outkast, Dj Quik, J5, Cube, Common etc. Agust D is Suga/Min Yoongi from the group BTS. The rappers in BTS and the group as a whole really have a hip-hop background and a respect for the craft, origins and culture. They pay homage and understand the music. I could tell that you understood that instantly as people who KNOW hip-hop. I look forward to you getting into more! Note that they dabble in many genres, but BTS are a group that really positively impacted me with their music, and they most certainly take some of the founding principles of hip-hop culture and appreciate it. My fave K-Pop group ever (I love SKZ as well for similar reasons, e.g. self-production, writing, craft, messaging, performance, variety etc.). Big up and love!
One of the important things to understand is that K-Pop is all over the map with the genres of music it incorporates. Kpop is a term put on Korean artists by foreigners who lump all music from Korea together. There are artist who do rap music in Korea, then there are those who do "idol" rap. Idol groups are the girl and boy groups that are the most popular to Korean foreigners. Kpop Idols are trained in schools, many of them do not have any rap experience prior to their training, and learn their style from creative directors of the record labels. There are some "Idol" rappers who were rap artists before entering idol training. BTS' SUGA/August D and RM are two of them, together they helped their group mate J-Hope develope as a rapper as well. These guys aren't the only rappers turned idols in SK, but in my opinion they are a superior trio because of their artistic styles and lyricism. Agust D made this song in response to rappers who looked down on him for joining an idol group, the ones who said he wasn't a real rapper.
Agust D the goat!!! Nothing handed to him. Writes and produces his own music since the start. Raps and sings on point. A swagger like no other. Yoongi Marry Me 💍
I’m so happy you finally started getting into some BTS! Every member has solo music that is so different but all amazing. I loved seeing your reaction being introduced to AgustD. Him, RM, and J-hope (rappers in BTS) really studied and pay a lot of respect to hip hop. AgustD is so authentic in his music and he really puts thought into the lyrics, beats, and switching up his flow. He knows how to hit the pockets. I’m excited for you guys to start listening to his music, he has sooo many great songs. After you start getting to know Suga/AgustD I hope you’re also able to check out solo projects for the other members in the rap line, the vocal line members, and also BTS songs. 😊
I’m so glad you guys discover Agust D😊 (pronounce August D), aka Suga of BTS, he’s also one of the best producers in the K-pop industry, please check out Shadow, Amygdala, Daechwita & Haegeum by Agust D…one of the best male rapper in Korea, if not the best really
Thank you so much for the response! Always appreciate a professional opinion. I would recommend you The Last by Agust D. It's a track with an extremely interesting rhythmic pattern and one of the strongest in terms of emotional intensity.
The vast majority of kpop rappers are only trained to perform rap as an aesthetic. Agust D/SUGA lives and breathes the genre, writing and producing and making his own flows, while honoring the genre that made him want to do music. But he also doesn't let that box him in. He has written many melodic introspective songs, and has won awards for producing outside the hiphop genre.
I'm sure almost everything has been said in the comments, but one reason BTS are the biggest kpop group is due to their rapline roots (which includes this guy) all writing their own raps, producing their own beats and being actual fans of Hip-hop before joining the group. As you guys have noticed, their (self written) lyrics are their strongest feature, but they still have everything else too that is also top tier (mv's, singing, dancing, visuals etc) I do hope to see more - I like lyric focused reactors.
Welcome to the world of BTS. Agust D (Suga in BTS) is one of the three rappers (3 rappers, 4 vocalists). If you keep exploring his music and that of his bandmates, you’ll discover they are incredibly talented and limitless artists. They are seven extremely different artists with very distinct styles, but no matter the genre or style, they excel at stepping out of their comfort zones. They are professionals, true artists. My recommendation is Agust D's trilogy: "Daechwita," "Haegeum," and "Amygdala." And if you want to get a glimpse of what BTS is as a group or as individual artists, I recommend "A Guide to BTS (for Haters, Skeptics, and Non-Pop Fans)" by Boracity Magazine. Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷💜
You guys absolutely need to check out more of BTSs rap line. Suga (Agust D), RM and J-Hope are 100% amazing rappers. Lyricism, flows, energy. It’s all unmatched. They are true students of hip hop and music overall.
Bout time more people discover the 3 world class rappers of BTS Agust D is DT( DAEGU TOWN SUGA backwards). Heavily reccomend his trilogy. Though you need DKDKTV DAECHITWA for the first one as its the only way to understand korean references and the doubles underlying them. Plus the non cleaned up lyrics but the next 2 are aimed at world wide audience. My favourite is ghe first nine the trilogy but everybody has a different favourite but . AGUST D DAECHITWA is a genius track and mv with a cinematic mv and great flow switches that will allow you to sit back enjoy then go straight to DKDKTV. Guaranteed it won't be the only 2x you watch it. The next 2 . HAEGEUM . AMYGDALA Suga is one of BTS main producers and has won awards writing and producing for other artists. RM try his . DOMODACHI FT LITTLE SIMZ . RM NUTS . RM GROIN . J HOPE ARSON, . J HOPE MORE . J HOPE FT J COLE HOPE ON THE STREET
Love that you reacted to him!! Agust D aka Suga from bts is a absolute amazing rapper, he was an underground rapper in Korea before he joined BTS, if you’re looking for a genuine REAL rapper in kpop, agust d is who you are looking for, along with RM and Jhope, best rappers in the kpop world BY FAR
I was listening to BTS' "We On" when I came across this video. Since it's from 2013, I don't think anyone would recommend it, but I really want to see your reaction to it.
Agust D also known as Suga is the main rapper and producer of the biggest boy group in the world BTS. This song was a song about his haters. I hope you will look at more songs of him and BTS.
He’s a member and main producer of BTS. He’s part of the rap line. If you liked this you should check out RM Joke (also from BTS). They both started off as underground rappers then became Idols.
Agust D (Mixtapes/Albums): 1. “Agust D” (2016): Raw, intense, and unfiltered, exploring his struggles and ambition. 2. “D-2” (2020): A blend of personal reflections, societal commentary, and bold storytelling. 3. “D-DAY” (2023): The conclusion of the trilogy, focusing on healing, growth, and self-discovery.
Definitely top 5 rappers in kpop! He is my favorite idol. Definitely check out the trilogy you see in the comments! Some good songs by him are People and Burn it
He is incredible because he has been setting this bar before (2010 training) the others you mentioned and also produces and writes and produces for BTS… and dances with the group

BTS has the best rap line in K-pop. They are legends for a reason and rap line of BTS is actually create BTS. Our leader RM is also a rapper and he is amazing. I can recommend Wild flower and Groin from him. Welcome to the BTS world💜
Our Min Yoongi 💜 The BTS rappers are awesome! They're known for their great lyricism, production skills, great flow and stage presence RM has collaborations with Wale, Warren G, Erykah Badu, Anderson.Paak, Megan Thee Stallion. His latest album - Right Place, Wrong Person - was critically acclaimed around the world SUGA/Agust D has collabs with Juice WRLD, Halsey, MAX, Ryuichi Sakamoto. He had one of the most grossing hip-hop tours in 2023 j-hope has collabs with J.Cole, Becky G, Don Toliver (soon), benny blanc. He will soon be the first Korean soloist to perform in a stadium in the US You'd love BTS as a whole. The 7 of them are impossibly talented. I don't know if you take recommendations but, if you're interested, there's a video called 'a guide to bts' by boracity magazine which showcases each of their individual colours and the group's 💜
He is a legend for a reason. He is a true artist, and I respect him a lot because he loves his music and he loves what he does. He does it from his heart, and it can be seen in his work. I am looking forward to more videos about his work on your channel.
Thank you for reacting to the first song released from #MinPd’s first mixtape. Our genius Min Yoongi (aka solo work stage name: #AGUSTD aka BTS stage name: #Suga ~ Shuu~Gah) was the lyricist, composer and main producer for this 2016 mixtape! It was released for Free on Soundcloud (FUSE ranked it as one of the best mixtapes of 2016) Rereleased 2 yrs later in 2018; “Agust D” reached #3 on Billboard's World Albums Chart, #5 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, and #74 on the Top Album Sales chart!💥 Min Yoongi was 23 yrs old when he released Agust D.... 🔥
welcome to Suga's (from BTS) alter ego. if you dive into the lore you will understand the bars better cause they are directed to some specific people. I reccomend you react to the whole rap line from BTS which are Suga, RM (rapmonster) and J-hope
I really enjoyed your commentary on this reaction, you're really gonna enjoy this man's music. He is also one of the main producers and songwriters of his group BTS
The fact that he can actually rap this live is crazy. Tongue technology is doing his thing. i suggest you check out also the other 2 rappers from BTS, I promise you won't regret it. The flow is strong with these ones.
As soon as I saw Agust D then I clicked your channel to watch my Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D from BTS. Please react more to their songs because all of them have beautiful lyrics and messages. Don't forget to turn on the CC or try to search the lyrics of their songs. They did more Hip hop songs in the earlier era. They all are amazing!
Yeah AgustD is one of the best rappers if not the best rapper in k-pop. But I also think that your opinion on the other rapper that you saw till now is underrated since you never saw any other rapper rap a whole song. So I would be rlly greatful if you’d react to Han from Straykids “I got it”. I just love his rap style and would love to see what you think of him
Agust D/ Suga is the main Rapper and main producer of BTS. BTS has 3 Rapper and 4 vocalists. They began as an hip hop crew/ band and debut in 2013. Suga was born in 1993 and began as an underground rapper at the age of 13. He has collaborated with artists such as Suran, Lee So-ra, Halsey, IU, Max, Juice Wrld, and Psy. Love your reaction💜
This is not a criticism of you but the system. But It’s actually rm that’s the main but it’s not as if it matters anyway. The members themselves never use it so I honestly think we shouldn’t use it. It’s redundant and doesn’t explain anything.
when you guys get to the trilogy, i would actually suggest reading the lyrics translation cause all three are amazing but Haegeum (used as in the slang term) is bars after bars and such a commentary on current global culture. Also i think RM's Groinin (a group mate of AugstD/Suga and also started as an underground rapper) is going to be really liked by you both. Also someone else suggested Han's (from Stray Kids) song - I Got It as another one to check out and yeah - it is also one of those top skill examples.
Suga (Agust D) has two mixtapes and one album outside of his group work in BTS. I have his song D-Day as a ringtone on my phone I love it so much 😁BTS rappers are up there right on top lyrically and technically. Charisma through the roof as well. They are the real deal. Outro:Tear, UGH and Ddaeng is all three of them performing together as a unit. Their 4 Cyphers are also fire. I am almost scared to see how much more refined and powerful they'll become after they are released from the military this June. Over the last 11 years of their career they went from strength to strength, their solo works are so diverse and interesting. Hope you check more of them in the future. Enjoy the ride! 💜💜💜
Thank you for this reaction! I really enjoyed your video. As many comments said, BTS has 3 awesome rappers - RM, SUGA (aka. AGUST D), Jhope If you listen without prejudice (like this time), you would find that BTS has been making high-quality music : ) Actually AGUST D is from 8 yrs ago, so this time, i reccommen you their recent songs! RM - Wild Flower SUGA - Daechwita Jhope - Arson
I remember suggesting this song when you guys said that female rappers where way better than the male. I'm glad you checked it out and like it I think you will like Agust d Daechwita as well. ❤❤
If you'd told me 10 years ago, that one day my favorite musician would be a rapper, then I would have laughed in your face and called you delusional.. I was always a Rock and Metal kinda girl, I was also never into any "boybands" growing up.. I also never really enjoyed rap (I've probably always gave a listen to the wrong artists tho, who knows), except for one or two more popular songs by Eminem.. I always considered it to be just about bragging, sex, women, money and drugs and that's not something I could identify with.. BUT THEN I discovered BTS and they sucked me into their rabbit hole and made sure to never let me leave.. all seven of them are phenominal musicians, performers and artists in general.. but music wise out of all of them Yoongi's (aka SUGA aka Agust D) music speaks to me the most.. I love the way he incoorporates his emotions in his delivery, you don't have to understand korean to feel his raw and honest feelings, he will never sugarcoat the ugly truth and give it to you straight and I like that.. there's a saying in the fandom trying to describe the three rappers of BTS, it's short, but I think it fits perfectly: RM raps with his brain SUGA raps with his heart j-hope raps with his soul most comments have probably already recommended you his trilogy (Daechwita, Haegeum & Amygdala), so I will recommend you some older songs.. songs that always make me emotional, because of the intensity in which he delivers them: - The Last as Agust D - First Love as BTS (solo by SUGA) - Dear My Friend as Agust D some other tracks you should definitly give a listen: - Snooze as Agust D - Polar Night as Agust D - People as Agust D PS: there are no official MV's for all of these songs.. you should stick with live performances or lyric videos PPS: Snooze has a pretty dope fanmade music video tho, it's by the cannel elisssa PPPS: I recommend you to watch the live performance of First Love → BTS (Suga) - First Love live at The Wings tour 2017 (stage mix) [ENG SUB] 🖖😊 💜
BTS has a song Hip Hop Lover (Phile) that is performed by all 7 of the group but it is the one where the rapline pays homage to a bunch of the rappers that have inspired them. Most rap fans who listen/watch are surprised at the names that are thrown out there.
I like how you guys take the time to break down exactly why and how you're feeling about songs, y'all have great attention to detail. If y'all wanna explore more Eastern music I'd check out some P-Pop (Filipino). I'd recommend Gento by SB19 for starters!! :3
Suga, aka Yoongi from BTS, created his alter ego “Agust D” to separate his solo work from what he does with BTS. The name “Agust D” comes from “DT” (short for his hometown, Daegu Town) and “Suga” spelled backward If you’re into raw, intense tracks, here are a few to check out: • “Daechwita”: A mix of traditional Korean sounds and modern rap with a cinematic vibe - MV • “The Last”: Deeply personal, where he opens up about mental health and his struggles. • “Haegeum”: A bold take on freedom and breaking boundaries - MV • “Amygdala”: Emotional and introspective, showing a more vulnerable side - MV • “Interlude: Shadow”: A powerful track about the highs and lows of fame. These songs really highlight his range as an artist and storyteller!
glad that they liked this because I’m pretty sure they made a couple comments about female idol rappers being better than the males which isn’t entirely unfair to say from what they’ve seen but I never agreed because BTS easily have 3 of the best rappers in kpop and it’d be a disservice to leave them out of the conversation + unlike some groups they’ve reacted to, they actually write their own raps which is relevant when talking about rap skills.
Agust D aka Suga aka Yoongi is a rapper in BTS’ rapline. BTS has one of the best (in my opinion THE best) rap lines of the boy groups, they are so unique and have great songs individually but also sound so good together. They are amazingly talented not only sonically but lyrically as well. You should listen to UGH! or some of their cyphers to get a taste of each of their flavors
Great vid! Agust D aka Suga (of BTS) aka Min Yoongi, is a brilliant musician who lives and breathes music. He is the main producer for the group and for his own music of course. You won't regret diving into more of his and the groups body of work. Appreciate your honest and respectful reaction. Thank you.
your reaction to Sugas love song for his haters was great. Can't wait to see more! As German, seeing you eating Haribo - I have to leave a little educational side fact: Haribo is called Haribo because Hans Riegel from Bonn was the Founder. Taking the first two letters of each, you will get HaRiBo. 😊
It's pronounced like the 8th month Min Yoongi or Suga from BTS (Which is why he mentions being an idol) AgustD = Dt for Deagu Town. Where he is from Agus - Suga spelled backwards Check out Daechwita He's the best. Better than every other artist you mentioned
Yeeeesssss this is Agust D pronounced (August) D...and he's spelling his name A to the U to the STD the D I'd where hes from Daegu!!! Oh he is fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 you definitely need to check out the rest of his solo album. He's part of BTS kpop group he's Suga...those are some bad boys definitely check them out RM, Suga, Jin, Jhope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook he's the youngest member known as the Golden Maknae...check out the MV, dance practices and live performance...oh Agust D(Suga) shredded this song!!!!!
Sounds like August D. BTS is the real deal. The 3 rappers (4 vocalists) all had heavy hip-hop background from a young age. The lyricism & flows & beats are 🔥! Joke by RM (eng subs!), Nuts & Groin by RM, Change w/Wale by RM, Daechwita by AgustD/Suga, All Night w/ Juice World by AgustD, On the Street w/JCole by J-Hope, Hangsang by J-Hope, Ddaeng & UGH as a trio...they have over 300 songs, and 0 misses! Every genre, but hip-hop roots/appreciation. Group songs Hip Hop Phile & Born Singer (adapted from JCole's Born Sinner). Collabs w/ Anderson Pak, Steve Aoki, Latto, Little Sims, Megan the Stallion, etc. They learned even more on "American Hustle Life" where they worked w/ Coolio & other OGs. Sean Stockman from Boyz to Men even did a cover in Korean of a member's song! Sorry for the info dump😂. Enjoy your journey. I recommend watching a MV/lyric vid & then a live or dance practice to really see them shine! 💜
Agust D (aka SUGA, aka Min Yoongi) of BTS!!!! He (and the 2 other rap BTS line members - RM & J-Hope), are in a class all their own!!! This song was a clapback to his haters.... Thanks for the reaction!!! 💜
AGUST'D is SUGA backwards and DT is for Deagu Town....his hometown. He is one of the 3 rappers of BTS, the best group in history!!!. Kisses from Argentina . I recommend his trilogy... daechwita, haegeum and amygdala... a masterpiece
“Okay, alright.” Yoongi AKA Suga, AKA AgustD is solid. The BTS rap line is on point. They’ve studied and respect Black American hip hop/rappers and put their own flair on it. BTS7❤
Other great songs by him would be The Last Shadow Daechwita Haegeum (I think you will like this one) Amygdala Give it to me Bro has such an amazing discography pls check out more from him :)
Agust D (pronounced August) is SUGA from BTS. Agust D is his solo persona. It's DT for his hometown, Daegu (Daegu Town), and SUGA all backward. He has an incredible trilogy of songs that you really need to hear. They are "Daechwita," "Haegeum," and "Amygdala." (Don't worry about pronunciation... You'll get it!) Daechwita, like the song you just heard, addresses the haters that give him grief because he left the underground rap scene and became an award winning producer and an idol. They teased and belittled him for it, saying he was no longer a true rapper. Haegeum addresses modern-day influences, specifically social media. Amygdala is the part of the brain that holds onto trauma. The song is about his struggles with trauma, depression, and social anxiety. It's incredibly moving. There is so much more from him and all the other members of BTS that this could be a book! Please continue your journey into their discography. You won't regret it! 💜
I'm so glad you liked Agust D! He's one of the rappers from the group BTS, in his solo work he goes by Agust D but in BTS his stage name is SUGA (which stands for Shooting Guard because it used to be his favourite position in basketball)! You should definitely react to his other solo songs: - Give it to me - Daechwita - Haegum - 28 - Snooze - Strange ft RM As well as some BTS Rap line(there are 3 rappers so we call them rap line) songs such as: - Cyphers (there are 4 of them, you could do one video reacting to all of them! there are no official music videos but there are lyric videos made by fans!) - Outro: Tear - DDaeng - UGH! I just found your channel so I do not know if you /just/ react to hiphop or if other genres, but if you do then I also recommend some BTS songs like: - HipHop Lover - Mic Drop (there is a music video for this one but the version that has a music video also includes a Steve Aoki remix! which is good but I believe the original version flows a bit better since it's mostly in korean so, if possible i would recommend just the normal version without Steve Aoki, which has no official music video but there are lyric videos!) - N.O - We Are Bulletproof pt2 - We On - If I Ruled The World - House Of Cards (this one has no rap in it) There are many more I can recommend but I don't want to overwhelm you and I believe those are good introductions to BTS.
Agust d is from a group called bts, and trust me, once you get to know them you’ll never regret it Try listening to mic drop by bts next or ON by bts or Daecbwita by Agust d I really love your reactions I’ve been watching since you started reacting to Xg and I’ll continue to watch, I just got so excited cuz bts is my favs💗💗
Thank you for reacting to Agust D (you could pronounce it like the month of August). He and the rest of BTS are amazing and impressive, each on their own right. I would suggest reacting to his trilogy next - he is such a great rapper as well as storyteller. Daechwita - Haegeum - Amygdala are the songs in his trilogy. You won't regret it. I hope you give the other members of BTS as well as BTS as a group a chance in the future (BTS rapline song suggestions: UGH! and Outro: Tear- especially the Wembley Live performance of outro:tear is out of this world). Thank you for a great reaction!💜
guys i’ll be honest, i NEVER comment on anything lol, but i have to tell you how much i’ve enjoyed your recent reactions to all the kpop (and xg!). you guys take your reactions seriously and i really can appreciate that! i know you’ve gotten a lot of comments letting you know that this is suga from bts, and that you should react to the agust d trilogy. and while i agree, i also have to recommend bts UGH! and Tear. these are rapline songs, so 3 of the 7 bts members. they are two of my favorite songs, both get me so hype! thanks again for the great reaction!!!
Yes! I agree with all this too!
Agree 💯💯💯💯💯
Tear wembley live u need to react
Dont forget Hip hop lover 💜
he started in the underground rap scene in Korea, got um...sort of tricked into joining an idol group (he was given the impression all he would have to do is rap and was less than enthusiastic about singing and dancing also being required LOL), and then his old acquaintances turned on him for "selling out" and "not being a real rapper anymore".
this song was his response. watching him grow over the years has been a gift.
also, i have what i think is an extremely funny observation about part of the translation for these lyrics but i don't want to offend anyone 💀 and i can't wait for y'all to discover his band mate RM
i can not wait for them to listen to RM's Groinin.
@patriciabailey9041 i was definitely thinking more along the lines of Joke lol
@ ohhhh yes!!!!!!
RM's Domodochi is a more recent effort and shows a lot more growth/development and sophistication, if that's something that would be interesting!
AgustD songs:
-Daechwita, Haegeum,Amygdala (Trilogy)
- Interlude: Shadow
- What Do You Think?
- People
- People Part 2 (feat. IU)
- Set Me Free
- The Last
- Give It To Me
- Nevermind
- Trivia: Seesaw
- Strange (feat. RM)
- Huh (feat. Jhope)
and many to mention
BTS Rapline (RM, Suga, & Jhope)
- Cyphers 1-4
- Ddeang
- Ugh
- Outro: Tear
Agust D is the best I gotta say
Anything else from AgustD?
There is ton.
Two mix tapes ( AgustD ; D-2)
One solo album ( D-day)
Solo songs as Suga from BTS discography ( Never mind; First love; Interlude: Shadow)
His real name is Min Yoongi.
Definitely more coming
@@thedreadinitpodcastThat's our precious Suga of BTS aka AgustD aka Min Yoongi (real name). You guys would probably love a live performance, its like he doesn't need oxygen. I reccomend 'Outro: Tear' live - it also has the other two members of BTS's rap line so you will get to sea how they play off each other.
This is a really great recommendation!
Yeees
Finally found the thanks button!!! I'm glad you guys enjoyed this. I knew y'all would. You should react to either Daechwita or Haegum by Agust D.
should be Daechwita by Agust D 1st than or Haegum and last Amygdala to complete the trilogy
@marinal. This is very true.
Doooo it.
Upppppp
Upppp this for Daechwita and pls watch the explanation video right after ua-cam.com/video/JayEtmyXVpo/v-deo.htmlsi=GtT6D5xTb7MF3_rE coz it’s 🤯
Agust D/ Suga is one of those rags to riches stories you always love hearing about. Like he literally came from nothing a made such a powerful name for himself in BTS😭
He wrote a song “Amygdala” with the music video and song recalling real moments in his life and his struggles including a bike accident that left him with shoulder issues.
It's so sad but I love the song 😢❤
It’s not August
@@Jujuky6 do me a favor, type “Agust” into your keyboard and see if autocorrect doesn’t change it. But thank you for the comment I’ll edit it
That song is heartbreaking
When knowing the full story behind it 😢💜
I just found your channel and I'm so glad you reacted to AgustD member of BTS and I appreciate your comments😊 I would love to see more BTS reactions they are 3 Rappers and 4 Vocalists
Him and Namjoon, another rapper in the group.❤😊
Agust D (or Suga) writes honest, raw lyrics about mental health and struggles - songs like The Last and So Far Away are powerful examples.
Their are 7 members, but only two of them are out of the militar(Jin and Hobi)
Their names are:(IN AGE ORDER)(OLDEST TO YOUNGEST)

Welcome to the family!
AgustD (Suga from BTS) got his start as an underground rapper and it shows. He is also a prolific and skilled producer who has created songs for BTS, and other music artists.
Suga A.K.A. Agust D its one of the BTS Member and Producer, and one of the tree rappers. Please check BTS Hip Hop lover.
You about to drop in the rabbit hole🤣🤣🤣🤣
he is really a freak lunatic on the beat, one of the best rappers in the kpop industry for sure. BTS rapline is something else definitely need to check out their work.
Wow FINALLY! Thanks guys for this reaction, I’m sure you guys will not regret going down the rabbit hole of BTS🫶
Agust D aka Suga from BTS - started as an underground rapper in his hometown of Daegu SK at the age of 13. Agust D (pronounced August) is made from his home town and his “industry name” backwards D (Daegu) T (Town) Suga. 💜
In Korean, it's not pronounced "August". That's a month. SUGA is not pronounced "shoo gau", but "Shoogah" It's "Ah goost D".
I'd recommend RM's Groin, Nuts and Lost. He is the leader of BTS (the group Agust D is from)
Thanks love Suga(Agust D) He was an underground rapper before joining BTS. He is also a brilliant producer. All of the members of BTS are amazing.
YES FINALLY YOU GUYS REACTED TO THIS LOL
BTW he's Suga from BTS and the BTS rapline is straight fire
Thanks for reacting to Agust D aka Suga/ real name Min Yoongi! Please watch his brilliant trilogy. The MV's.
"DAECHWITA". "Haegum." "AMYGDALA. He is lyrical and producing genius. And his trilogy proves it.
I have no idea what dude is saying. But this was 🔥
he's got a bit of a lisp and an accent, so even when you speak Korean (or are learning it), he's hard to understand. it's not just you 😂
@@are.squaredlmao
thank you for the love 💜 it's definitely worth it to check out his albums!!
@@lieflieflief I usually stick to my own little corner of music but the TDIP reactions have introduced to me stuff I never thought I'd like. Theres a few artists I have started to explore.
@@kortanii321For me too, I really discovered Ren through them.
Real
Bts rapline🔛🔝
Is this now we're finally getting a BTS video? (Suga is his name when hes in the group, and Agust D solo)
Agust D the goat!!!
Nothing handed to him. Writes and produces his own music since the start. Raps and sings on point. A swagger like no other. Yoongi Marry Me 💍
The truth is quite simple: he's not just a guy who raps. He is a true rapper.
Good recommendation
I've been waiting for a BTS reaction and we got a yoongi YAYAYAY
My recommendation is Agust D's trilogy: "Daechwita," "Haegeum," and "Amygdala."
And if you want to get a glimpse of what BTS is as a group or as individual artists, I recommend "A Guide to BTS (for Haters, Skeptics, and Non-Pop Fans)" by Boracity Magazine.
Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷💜
You guys absolutely need to check out more of BTSs rap line. Suga (Agust D), RM and J-Hope are 100% amazing rappers. Lyricism, flows, energy. It’s all unmatched. They are true students of hip hop and music overall.
Thanks for reacting! Hope you guys explore more of August D solos and the other 2 bts rappers.

Agust D is DT( DAEGU TOWN SUGA backwards). Heavily reccomend his trilogy. Though you need DKDKTV DAECHITWA for the first one as its the only way to understand korean references and the doubles underlying them. Plus the non cleaned up lyrics but the next 2 are aimed at world wide audience. My favourite is ghe first nine the trilogy but everybody has a different favourite but
. AGUST D DAECHITWA is a genius track and mv with a cinematic mv and great flow switches that will allow you to sit back enjoy then go straight to DKDKTV. Guaranteed it won't be the only 2x you watch it.
The next 2

. AMYGDALA

. RM NUTS
. RM GROIN
. J HOPE ARSON,

SUGA = his stage name in his group BTS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
the sugar is because of that Hiphop Talk in 2013 he and RM went to and where that idiot draged them.
Agust D (Mixtapes/Albums):

Let’s goo 🔥 thank you for checking this one out , looking forward to more bts reactions 🙌🏽
Suga from BTS. Great reactions! G-dragon is an amazing rapper in K-pop as well. Anything you choose from him is 🔥.
I just love his rap style and would love to see what you think of him
We will always keep an open mind on everyone we react to. We would never write someone off after just one song
AGUST D), Jhope
If you listen without prejudice (like this time), you would find that BTS has been making high-quality music : )
Actually AGUST D is from 8 yrs ago, so this time, i reccommen you their recent songs!
RM - Wild Flower
SUGA - Daechwita
Jhope - Arson
I remember suggesting this song when you guys said that female rappers where way better than the male. I'm glad you checked it out and like it I think you will like Agust d Daechwita as well. ❤❤
Right? Female rappers who don’t write their bars… 😬
FINALLY!! 💗💗💗
I recommend Joke by Rap Monster (RM)
look for the video with subtitle cause the original MV doesn't have subtitle.
I love the way he incoorporates his emotions in his delivery, you don't have to understand korean to feel his raw and honest feelings, he will never sugarcoat the ugly truth and give it to you straight and I like that..
there's a saying in the fandom trying to describe the three rappers of BTS, it's short, but I think it fits perfectly:
RM raps with his brain
SUGA raps with his heart
j-hope raps with his soul
most comments have probably already recommended you his trilogy (Daechwita, Haegeum & Amygdala), so I will recommend you some older songs.. songs that always make me emotional, because of the intensity in which he delivers them:
- The Last as Agust D
- First Love as BTS (solo by SUGA)
- Dear My Friend as Agust D
some other tracks you should definitly give a listen:
- Snooze as Agust D
- Polar Night as Agust D
- People as Agust D
PS: there are no official MV's for all of these songs.. you should stick with live performances or lyric videos
PPS: Snooze has a pretty dope fanmade music video tho, it's by the cannel elisssa
PPPS: I recommend you to watch the live performance of First Love → BTS (Suga) - First Love live at The Wings tour 2017 (stage mix) [ENG SUB]
🖖😊 💜
The name “Agust D” comes from “DT” (short for his hometown, Daegu Town) and “Suga” spelled backward
If you’re into raw, intense tracks, here are a few to check out:
• “Daechwita”: A mix of traditional Korean sounds and modern rap with a cinematic vibe - MV
• “The Last”: Deeply personal, where he opens up about mental health and his struggles.
• “Haegeum”: A bold take on freedom and breaking boundaries - MV
• “Amygdala”: Emotional and introspective, showing a more vulnerable side - MV
• “Interlude: Shadow”: A powerful track about the highs and lows of fame.
It’s pronounced like the month of August “Agust D” Daegu Town SUGA backwards … he’s from BTS one of the main rappers in BTS.
It's pronounced like the 8th month
Min Yoongi or Suga from BTS (Which is why he mentions being an idol)
AgustD = Dt for Deagu Town. Where he is from
Agus - Suga spelled backwards
Check out Daechwita
He's the best.
This song is solely written and produced by Agust D himself. That's what makes it even more mind-blowing of how talented this guys is!
BTS7❤
Other great songs by him would be
The Last
Shadow
Daechwita
Haegeum (I think you will like this one)
Amygdala
Give it to me
Bro has such an amazing discography pls check out more from him :)
You should definitely react to his other solo songs:
- Give it to me
- Daechwita
- Haegum
- 28
- Snooze
- Strange ft RM
As well as some BTS Rap line(there are 3 rappers so we call them rap line) songs such as:
- Cyphers (there are 4 of them, you could do one video reacting to all of them! there are no official music videos but there are lyric videos made by fans!)
- Outro: Tear
- DDaeng
- UGH!
I just found your channel so I do not know if you /just/ react to hiphop or if other genres, but if you do then I also recommend some BTS songs like:
- HipHop Lover
- Mic Drop (there is a music video for this one but the version that has a music video also includes a Steve Aoki remix! which is good but I believe the original version flows a bit better since it's mostly in korean so, if possible i would recommend just the normal version without Steve Aoki, which has no official music video but there are lyric videos!)
- N.O
- We Are Bulletproof pt2
- We On
- If I Ruled The World
- House Of Cards (this one has no rap in it)
There are many more I can recommend but I don't want to overwhelm you and I believe those are good introductions to BTS.
Agust d is from a group called bts, and trust me, once you get to know them you’ll never regret it
Try listening to mic drop by bts next or ON by bts or Daecbwita by Agust d
I really love your reactions I’ve been watching since you started reacting to Xg and I’ll continue to watch, I just got so excited cuz bts is my favs💗💗
