Thank you! I'm going to change the EPROMS of my SQ-R soon, and I was surprised how many screws this synth has. I'm so in love with this old boy, really enjoy its unique sound. Also got the MR-Rack for "clean" sounds. :-)
Thanks for the video, I got mine up and running, The only thing you missed, is the 3 hex nuts on the back of the case for the inputs, but its no big deal, its obvious once you take all the other screws out. Thanks again
Hi I'm trying to reset the KS-32 Ensoniq but I can't! I've already changed the battery! It's not coming out any sound. just a little crumbling very low. Would you help me ?
I like your video I have an ensoniq sq1 plus that the battery holder is missing . I bought it like that . If the battery is missing would that make the keyboard not turn on ? All it does is give # buttons when I turn it on and press the sound buttons .
It was quite a while since I did this video, but I believe it worked fine without a battery. If your keyboard doesn't turn on properly there is likely some other problem
I have one but it crackles when the effects are on.. that ESP trim is supposed to make it better, but no luck for me sadly. The crackle is rhythmic as if I looped a sample. Any ideas? The RAM for the ESP perhaps?

Those hex nuts was already removed by somebody else and gone when I got the unit

I just bought some el-cheapo holders. Most models should work

Yes. Originally soldered directly only the board, but I used a battery holder.

Syntaur has them, the battery is a unit. Not just the battery cell.
