13 rules for Aikido instructors (Article 12)
      0:01
Ⅻ Don't show off your strength when practicing.
It causes others to have a fighting spirit.
Don't talk about strength, preach what is right.
Don't just say it, be passive and teach with all your might.
Don't stop your disciple's technique just because you're being mean. Don't stop worrying.
Be careful not to pick up bad habits from your disciples.
      0:35~
      Don't discuss strength, preach righteousness.
Aikido instructors must keep this in mind.
Humans become stronger if they practice to a certain extent.
It's natural for teachers to be strong. Then I feel confident that I am strong.
However, the disciple also becomes stronger. In time, the disciple may become stronger than the teacher. In that case, what is the significance of a teacher's existence?
it's not. It is wrong to say ``just because you are strong means you are right''.
The world has been obsessed with money and power because there has been a long time when power was justice.
You have to realize that that is a mistake.
What is right is still right no matter how many years pass, and what is not right is not right.
Preach the truth. If you preach strength, you will eventually lose because of your strength.
What is right will never be defeated.
Let's look at an example. Let's try Nikyo.
      2:10~
Like Nikyo, sometimes it doesn't work when the opponent gets stronger. It's starting to stop working.
Then the teacher will no longer be intimidating. In other words, if you do it based on strength, it won't work if the opponent is also strong.
However, if you do the right thing, you'll be fine.
What is the right thing? These are the four major principles of Aikido that unify mind and body.
Relax and guide the other person without going against their will (let the other person's power flow in the direction of their power 3:12).
If it's correct, the technique will work. No problem with any opponent.
      3:33~
come here for a second. Try it on me.
What works works. It even works for me.
Heaven and earth are infinite. If I try too hard and force myself to hang on, I'll be crushed too.
If the other person is right.
So discuss what is right. Then the disciple will feel at ease and follow the master.
