How about taking the Celica on a driving holiday (vacation) once its complete - rather than diving straight into a new resto project? I'd love to see the car being driven on some awesome roads and seeing it being enjoyed - plus, you need a vacation!
I supervised probably a hundred airmen in my enlisted career, and I would have traded about 75% of them for one of you. Smart-assed, nerdy, OCD, and super hard worker. A winning combination in my book.
Hi Sarah. For the zinc and straight metal faces how about using an invisible corrosion inhibitor? In the aircraft line boeshield T9 is incredible, locally here (Spain) CRC 3.36 is the same. Invisible and seals the pores on bare metal surfaces. We work on yachts and have motorbikes parked in the marina. No corrosion. Hope it helps protect your stunning builds. But please remember to look after yourself as much as you look after the cars. Pls take occasional breaks. We will still be here for you.
Finally a real channel that shows how long it really takes, and the number of "redo" that honestly happen. Of course the engine mounts weren't done- that's what really happens...
The Smurf line absolutely killed me. Always love the random off color remarks. Never ever know what Sarah will say but it's always great. Also love the Army of Darkness in this one too...
LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel! I think anyone who is lucky enough to own one of your builds is truly getting one of the finest vehicles (better than new) on the planet. Keep up the great work!
The thing that I love about you the most... you're an American that understands the Metric system is just so much better and easier to learn and work with. Excellent selection of the first song for the playlist... and you excelled by making sure you chose the German version... Das is gut... sehr gut... Danke.
Thanks for this. It's my happy place. I can forget about politics and social media trolls while enjoying building a car (vicariously... through your videos). I love your content
How satisfying it must be to finally be able to install that engine. Anxiously awaiting future installments and seeing you take it out for a test drive after it's complete.
Appreciate that you don't take yourself too seriously. "I don't know how tapping on it, would be able to tell the difference". And that stuff isn't magically done, and your projects aren't done the next day....its real and relatable.
Sara -n- Tuned is just about the only "honest-to-bleeding-knuckles-oops-I-forgot-actual DIY" channel left on YT. This has been a fun project to see come together. Step by miniscule step, bolt by re-zinc coated bolt. The best part is I get to enjoy the project and not pay for anything!! 😆
I cannot believe it's been about 2 years already. It's been so fun watching this series and all of the detail you put into this build. Absolutely outstanding.
Finished my Celica build/swap 10 years ago. So some parts are a walk down memory lane. I was like "the hood hinge goes behind that!" haha.. Thanks for the great videos! I look forward to them every week.
Being a Perfectionist has its benefits. This is A Piece of Art, and as a fellow ex Aerospace Engineer, prior Trophy Winning ,74 Celica Owner. I love this so much, & have enormous respect & appreciation for this. I would Be Over the moon to own this car.
Sarah, your family must be so proud of you for the exceptional person that you are. The expertise, the insistence on doing complicated things correctly, your humor through it all. If you were my daughter, my friends would get sick about hearing what a magnificent person you are. If only!
The headlights where never that strong, I put stronger high beams in many years ago now it light the Highway up well.😊 Found and old advertisement from Australia in the same color than your car Sarah, I posted it in Facebook video😊
What up Charlie. The attention to detail in the video itself makes this channel so watchable - I try to watch other less polished YT car folks and the edit chops are rarely there. And like the others I don't really want this build to end.
This car needs to go to some higher prestige shows. Even though I know Sarah is too humble to think so, I bet it would draw a crowd at place like Pebble Beach.
Sarah. I’m on holiday from Ireland 🇮🇪 in Sicily 🇮🇹. I’m wilting in the heat! I have no idea how you manage to turn out such brilliant content in the heat of your location. You are a marvel ❤
The Celica is almost done! The final details look awesome! I watched the video twice. We are so excited for you Sarah! I’m also going to go to website to purchase some of your products. I need to restock my shelves of some “liquidity things.” Thanks for the updated playlist. It rocks!😉👍🏼
You have done a wonderful talented job on this ST. I am a newbe on your channel. binged as many posts you made on this the last month. WOW !!!!!!!! Will you "please" drive it a long time and review your build. Even if i still had my 74 GT. Would be proud to race you because of you tried to keep build stock parts. the 18 rc in the 1974 gt was a fast 5 speed. Be careful.... Even stock. Rear end was light. tended to break loss when you did not want it to. Now you have a V8. More weight up front. More power to the rear. It will be a hand full of fun.
Love the fabrication parts of this build. BTW.... the headlight buckets are proof positive of the quality of your work. Just outstanding. One step at a time....
Doncha just love it when a plan comes together? Lovely work Sarah and so many tracks in your wonderful playlist that I had forgotten I loved back in the day. Thank you so much.
You car looks absolutely amazing now. It has now taken the position of the most desired car in my heart as a bonus, it shares the same birth year as myself. Keep doing what you do Sarah
When you do things the Sarah way, sometimes it takes longer, but the result is far better than you could ask for! This is why we watch. This is because you care enough to do this your way, correctly. From the garage days to the present, you do not compromise and that is why we remain ever loyal viewers. Thanks to Charlie as always for his welding expertise and ever being accommodating. Press on Sarah! Never say die Iron Eagle! Yeah buddy!❤
Sarah dearest, You cannot possibly have lost half a day welding and painting the engine mounts. The job needed to get done and you did it at the time required to do it. Ergo, no time lost. Keep the aspidistra flying! Love, Paul
Sarah, just a hint for future projects. When painting, for example, the motor mounts use high heat BBQ paint. I've actually flat blacked my truck with this paint. It doesn't leave paint strokes, covers very evenly, and literally lasts for years and doesn't fade! It's been on my truck for over 10 years, with no fade and weathering stains, and can handle the heat of Texas. Try it and see, l LOVE the Celica, what a great realistic project.
I trust only a few UA-camrs to produce content that is worth watching, and you are at the top of that list. Thank you for your keen sense of attention to detail and for doing things right. I would love to see you restore a follow-on to the bug, like a 356 or even an air-cooled 911 Porsche. Taking the Celica on a driving holiday (vacation) is a great idea; you deserve it.
Love your attention to detail, as always. Amazing project. Can't wait till you drive it but I love that you're doing it right and not rushing. And don't worry about the orders for your new product line taking time to ship. No rush and really happy to be able to support you and your small team while also getting products I will use. And I'm loving my '80's Vibe Audi T-shirt.
Some of the shear joy I vicariously experience when you get the exact right fasteners installed for a particular item like those fender screws for example. Hard to put a finger on it but it's awesome.
I feel I need to comment on your awesome playlist, had it blasting in my car all weekend, I discovered some new tunes and rediscovered some classic belters! Props to your OCD running order too, starts strong, then eases down for the shmaltz, then picks up again - thanks Sarah!
Another massive mile-stone reached! Congrats! - Very exiting to see it becoming ever so much more car-like for every video now. Love what you did with the head-lights. Thank you for what you do and Stay Awesome!

Agreed, plus it would give some seat time to help find the last issues that need to be worked out.
Sarah only picks bad roads and off roads.
The PCH would be a great break in run for it.
Seconded, and also: I *need* to see see Nicole Johnson react to and drive this. She'd love that the engine is salvaged from Sarah's dad's truck.
Thirded. A test and tune driving holiday would be great to see. Plus, if anyone deserves a little break, it's Sarah!
When Sarah drops a video I drop what I'm doing.
Same

🤨
So much goodness, thank you Sarah for doing it right. Not many tubers take the time to teach the correct way, if they even know what that means.
Extra thumbs up for the Bruce Campbell/Army of Darkness reference.
😊👍Thanks!
Thanks!
Good morning Sarah!
I supervised probably a hundred airmen in my enlisted career, and I would have traded about 75% of them for one of you. Smart-assed, nerdy, OCD, and super hard worker. A winning combination in my book.

Happy to support the channel. You're a great presenter! Funny and entertaining! I can't wait to hear this engine go through the rev range.
毎度のことながら素晴らしい動画ですね。
還暦を迎え次の運転免許更新時には免許証を返納しようと思っていますが、もう一度セリカLBに乗りたかったなぁ。
Got "Smurf c.. all over your arm".. ha- HILARIOUS--- you are SO much fun to watch!!! :)
So glad I didn't have to mention that!
I don’t really blame the Smurf. 🤷♂️
Thank you Karen for all your hard work!
WHO'S KAREN?
@TOBYH watch the WHOLE video again friend. Sarah talks about merch, all looked over by Karen.
Holy cow!!! Has this Celica really been a two year project? His time flies. I had no idea we’ve been watching it this long
Your work is just like YOU-- beautiful and close to perfect as you can get.. :) GREAT JOB.. on all of it.
Whenever something negative happens to you, there is a deep lesson concealed within it.
Stoked to get all the magic robo bubble action. Thanks, Karen!
Playlist is magma fire ... we gonna ROCK DOWN TO e-lectric a-venue ...

Those headlight buckets look AMAZING! Good call on that. 👍
the quality of your work is always extraordinary and quite unique.

Let the liner hit the floor, let the liner hit floor, let the liner hit the FLOOOOOR!
Thanks
The Attention To Detail is awesome. This girl is amazing
Finally a real channel that shows how long it really takes, and the number of "redo" that honestly happen. Of course the engine mounts weren't done- that's what really happens...
definitely one of the top most consistently great YT channels. Up there with MCM.
That's a huge compliment putting me in the same sentence with them, thank you.
The Smurf line absolutely killed me. Always love the random off color remarks. Never ever know what Sarah will say but it's always great. Also love the Army of Darkness in this one too...
The 1983 playlist kicking off with Nena singing im Deutsch just works! süß!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel! I think anyone who is lucky enough to own one of your builds is truly getting one of the finest vehicles (better than new) on the planet. Keep up the great work!
I love it when Sarah uses "Auto-CAD" Cardboard Aided Design for Automobiles.
Everything about this build is just amazing.
Been following this build since the beginning. 0:54
Congrats on the new Cleaning supplies company!!!
The thing that I love about you the most... you're an American that understands the Metric system is just so much better and easier to learn and work with.
Excellent selection of the first song for the playlist... and you excelled by making sure you chose the German version...
Das is gut... sehr gut... Danke.
Seriously Sarah, this car NEEDS to be seen at Pebble Beach.
Love the progress. There is a light at the end of the tunnel ❤
And darkness in the transmission tunnel.
Thanks for this. It's my happy place. I can forget about politics and social media trolls while enjoying building a car (vicariously... through your videos). I love your content
Measure in mm, then math it out with a calculator to inch/bananas, way easier/more accurate than guessing fuzzy tape 32nds.
👍🇬🇧👍
I can’t overstate how much I love watching you do these builds! Thank you!😊
Absolutely could not look away. Every step is just piling on excitement for the impending completion. The headlights look Hella 😁

This build is far beyond mere perfectionism. A new word needs inventing!
Perfectophasmagorical?
Sarahperfection ?
multisuperlativiousness?
I cannot believe it's been about 2 years already. It's been so fun watching this series and all of the detail you put into this build. Absolutely outstanding.
17:04 just like how I used Murphy's wood soap to shine my shoes for an interview this morning. Worked great!
Sarah your work is amazing! Your a wonderful human being and we need more of your type in this planet 😊🙂
Great to see Charlie on the video! Every part of this car's journey has been really fun to watch!
Headlight pieces came out nice
Finished my Celica build/swap 10 years ago. So some parts are a walk down memory lane. I was like "the hood hinge goes behind that!" haha.. Thanks for the great videos! I look forward to them every week.
One of the best things in life, assembling your car without all the goo and shumutz getting all over you and your tools. Beautiful job Sarah.
I love every minute of this project! All the details. Awesome job! 👏🏻

As always, delicious attention to detail and craftsmanship by Sarah on her project cars 🙏🙏🙏🙂
You get 20 additional points for the Bruce Campbell "Army of Darkness" reference
Love the pantera shirt saw them in concert in chicago last month
The headlights where never that strong, I put stronger high beams in many years ago now it light the Highway up well.😊
Found and old advertisement from Australia in the same color than your car Sarah, I posted it in Facebook video😊
Watching how you carefully cut, prep and install these replacements, this is like ASMR for gear heads.😏
Attention to detail in your fabrication is outstanding. Amazing to watch, thank you!
Got my Celica t-shirt the other day. Love it! Love your show! Keep up the fantastic work Sarah.
I'm sure there are a bunch of folks just happy to see all the progress on your Celica no matter what the timeframe is
What up Charlie.
The attention to detail in the video itself makes this channel so watchable - I try to watch other less polished YT car folks and the edit chops are rarely there. And like the others I don't really want this build to end.
Hi Sarah, I just got my Celica t-shirt yesterday! It's cool and I'm stoked with the high quality of the shirt. Thanks!
Getting the headlights in place makes it look so nice. It's like the begi ningness of completedness.
13:06 it is shogkingly rare to see your level of dedication, attention to detail, care, coherence. Shogkingly rare to find people like you. Amazing.
This entire episode is absolutely delightful. Every second!
Do you have an update for us about Ping? I know it's hard for you, I just hope he's comfortable and happy.
Still going, hoping he’ll make it the full 4 months they gave him.
❤ 🐱
@@SchoolforHackers I second this!
OOOO it's getting closer to the road. What clever idea to use the the warm white (3000 kelvin) to maintain the incandescent look. Bravo.

GREAT WORK SARAH. from an ASE 35 + years automotive technician in montana. enjoy your channel when you work on the projects.
A life spent making mistakes is not only more honourable but more useful than a life spent in doing nothing.
Doll your memory, tenacity, & countless talents never ceases to amaze me! Go, Go, Go! Thank you, J

I love the mint showroom looks you achieve, on the bolts, the headlights, and everything else.
I’m so glad to see your endeavour almost coming to an end can’t wait to hear and see the final start up and drive ❤
RoboBubble : Success! Thanks Karen and Sarah 🎉
What a momentous occasion. So stoked to see the engine in its forever home.
Been following this build since day one and I’m shockered it’s been almost two years. But I love it!!

From Lonnie in Boiling Spring Lakes N.C. Sarah , You know that car is going to haul ass when you are ready.
TWO YEARS!
Holy S***!
Time flies.
I've enjoyed every moment of this build, and your many other videos in between.
Looking forward to your next build.
