I love your husband voice! I don’t have regret actually now, I got raped like when I was 17 or so I used to beat myself up, I wished I went back in time to not leave my house, I wish I left that place on time, I dwelled so much on regrets of that day till I got to know God better, and before now anytime I shared the story I’ll always have places in the story where I’ll say I was stupid for not doing this, for not pushing him hard for not, those where serious regret! But now I tell it with so much grace! I’ve told myself I’ll not beat myself for another persons mistake! And now when I share my story I’m elated the many people who can relate and share in my experiences! I no longer dwell in those moments! I’m so happy I can now say I was raped without having my heart beating or anything or feeling like that day was wiped! I just live and after these years! I know those experiences brought me so close to God
I love you so much Ezinne

What Isimeme said on regrets is so spot on! The greatest regret anyone will have is having to live an eternity without the presence of God.

Whe i saw the 'regret' question, i remembered 2021. I felt i missed my Wilderness Phase, thus missed the glory God was preparing me for, and probably why i am still in this phase of 'uncertainty and somewhat lack'
Few months after i received salvation, i got a job to work in an Art Gallery (I was sure God wanted me there) but a month into the job, i started questioning if God really wanted me there.
Because of the distance from my place to my office, i had to live with my employer, and i can say it was the most darkest phase of my life. I had never been treated like an outcast the way i was treated there. This supposed employer claimed to be a believer but his actions were clearly the opposite.
I did not understand what 'wilderness' meant (as at then), and did not understand why God would place me in a situation that would drain me (technically, it was draining my flesh). Because i expected if God asked me to work there, then He would have prepared only good things for me.
Long story cut short; I left the second month and i still feel that regret of not staying back and enduring. Maybe if i did, my life would have been different now.
But i know it is just the enemy's way of trying to keep me static. I know God still has His plans for me.
Anytime i think about it, Isaiah 43:18-19 always comes through for me. 💪

Same I hate horror movies, it leave a presence with you when you finish watching it. I won’t sleep for weeks even months 😭😂 when it’s time to sleep in the night I dread it cause the movie keeps playing in my mind. Even when someone is watching a horror movie around me even if it’s broad day light and I decide to just see what’s going on in the movie ah that’s the end 😂😂 no sleep for me. Horror movies come with the spirit of fear.

Seeing you thrive, speak the truth and encourage others is absolutely amazing and I just want to pray for you. That all seasons will be your season, you will never go off season. The glory of the Lord will continue to shine upon you and his light will continually radiate through you. Most importantly, May his Grace always be sufficient for you.

Omggg yes sis Ezinne that part on horror movies is spot on!!
The regrets part too, I resonate with that part too, I think it's how I was raised, like for ANY mistake I made I was literally crucified, like I wasn't allowed to make mistakes, it's just recently like mid-last year, I came to the realisation that I had to CUT MYSELF SOME SLACK. I'm only a human and I'm allowed to make mistakes and move on from those mistakes, making better decisions and not dwelling on what I could have done better.
    Thank you for this🥰

I love this video and its editing. It's giving "Random gist with my UA-cam fam" 😂
On the question of regrets, gosh I struggled with that soo much in the past years till it reduced in like 2021. First, I realized the little things tend to get to me most so I'm protective of my space & heart. When I feel I've made mistakes, instead of dwelling on them for so long and feeling guilty that I'm still stuck - it's a whole loop - I'll feel EVERYTHING for the first few minutes/hours even, rant to my sweet friends and all, then I'll tell myself there's so much work to be done in this life o and I want to die empty 😌😂
I also ask myself; In the next 5 years, would all of these matter? 🤔
I think of what I'd have done better and console myself with "Now that I know better, I'll do better next time" I'm still human anyway.
In all, I've learnt to be kind to myself and hold on to this: There's no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Well I hope this helped someone 🤍🤍

Love these video, i usually have same experience each time i watch an horror movie, i always see the demon in my dream. I explained the situation to my Aunty, she told me that how it has always been with me even as a child, she said when i was a baby, if you carry to watch a scary movie or a movie that has to do with witchcraft, i will start crying till you take me away from there. I thought it was something that has to do with just me.

We're so similar when it comes to making mistakes and handling it by beating ourselves up about it. I also think because my dad has such high expectations of me I was largely afraid of making mistakes. It's one of the hardest things to unlearn but I think I'm becoming better at handling it. I just remind myself to be kind to myself and that Jesus is not at me too.

I can relate to beating myself up so much. My mantra is either 'I should have known better' or 'Why didn't I think of this' or 'What sort of person does this'. I think it comes with being the first child and having a lot of expectations placed on you, so you forget to give yourself grace.

My favourite genre of movies used to be horror movies. Somehow, after giving my life to Christ, I just lost the flare for them. They didn't thrill me as they used to.
This is going along the lines of how Abba changes our desires when we surrender😂❤️
    Thank you Mama Zii!❤️

That's because you're a melancholy just like myself
    We don't like making mistakes
And we may seem tough on the outside but we're also very emotional

Beautiful video Ezinne. Then on the issue of regret, I've learnt not to regret anything because I can't change what has happened so why dwell on it?
I just ask God to forgive me then He asks me to forgive my self then I move on.

About the horror movies... I don't know if it's for everyone but I was also warned to stop watching horror movies in a dream. I did stop for some years and one year there was this trending horrow movie and I said, I'll watch just this one. I did watch it and that night, there was this physical presence in my room. I was seeing it like I was in a dream but this beast was in my room standing right un top of me touching my arm... And stuff... It was right there. I don't even think I was dreaming. That's when I took the warning seriously.
