I’m 22 years and I still don’t have a boyfriend; when I tell people my story they exclaim and they are shocked but honestly I know who I am in Christ and I’m not going to allow myself to allow bare minimum in all forms of relationship's because I am a 10. I pray people get over this fear and realize that God wants the best for us and he will provide the best❤️

I am 23yrs and I was in a relationship with this person and I couldn't give sex willingly but he violated me and it hurts 😔. At the end of the day, when he knew that i couldn't give sex, I saw another side of him and he used my flaws as an excuse to leave.. it really hurts but I have learnt lots of lessons
This happened to me too; where I prayed for the feelings to die when I was getting too obsessive with a guy and the next week literally, all the feelings just went from 100 to 0. Honestly, I think that’s the best method to get yourself out of any feeling that you shouldn’t be feeling; ask God to kill it.
This is totally unrelated but I recently gave my life to Christ and I decided to break up with my boyfriend even though at first it was a tough decision because he was a really good person but there were certain things we were doing that weren't right with me anymore and I am glad I did because I feel a lot better and happy. cheers to being 22, being in Christ, and being happy. He said he's a shy person and would be more comfortable in a hotel and we could talk there as well. Yes, Ezinne you are completely right. Courtship is the better word to use as Christians, cause its a relationship that has an end goal of leading to marriage. Dating is a relationship where both parties access themselves to see if they are suitable for each other and it usually involves sexual intercourse. Going on a Date is fixing an appointment with someone for an event. And it's okay. So the three words are all quite different. Dating, Courtship, and fixing a Date.

I totally agree 👌🏽….. God revealed the red flags 🚩 of my Ex. There’s a prayer I kept praying “Holy Spirit, reveal the real (insert name) to me.” The relationship only lasted two months. I can so relate to Somebi. The prayer started opening my eyes 👀 and I started feeling not at peace with this guy.

I have had related experiences 😂. I was once in a relationship, I didn't know better I did the "let's put God aside" thing and guess what? The relationship capsized😂😂. It's something I'm thankful to God for still, because I saw warnings and signs. Now I'm so intention about loving and serving God o and works on myself too.
My advice; As Christains we should put God around and in the middle of our relationships.
